Great service by all employees. Very clean and quite. Great for business meetings, studying and late night chill spot. Tried the new iced Apple cider macchiato and it was really good. Have to stir the bottom as the sugar pools to the bottom of the cup. If you aren't a pumpkin fan, this is a great alternative for fall feels . I love that they stay open pretty late too. I love love this Starbucks!! Its my favorite coffee stop adjacent to I-35. Today the line wasn't long but shortly after I ordered the line began to snake around the parking lot. Once I got to the window to pay, the cashier was the same smooth, energetic person whom took my order. He was even more gracious in person telling me I would enjoy my grande Carmel latte with soy. He smiled, didnt seem rushed or bothered by the busyness that surrounded him. I love talking to people that seem to enjoy their job and the opportunity to serve you as a customer. It's a pleasant experience. I didnt mind paying $6 for my coffee $2 tip...it was a treat and a great experience. This is the best Starbucks in the Edmond area. My custom drink is always made consistently. Staff are usually pretty friendly (minus a few new people who seem to only be here once or twice and then we don't see them again). My one complaint is that, certain people who work the drive thru don't let you get your entire order out before they ask "anything else." It's INCREDIBLY frustrating, as their questions would've been answered if they just would've stayed quiet for a few seconds longer. These 1-2 people literally talk over you to ask "anything else" while you're speaking. Stop it!! Ugh! Give people a chance to say whether the drink will be hot or iced, or have any customizations. Seriously, it's infuriating. Aside from that issue, we love this Starbucks and highly recommend it. read more

I just arrived in the metropolitan Oklahoma City to visit family for the weekend and asked my sister where the nearest Starbucks was and she suggested this new location right off the East Covell Rd Exit off of Interstate 35. The reason was, I have to admit, was to get one of those "You Are Here" collectible mugs that are now sold at regionally at every Starbucks. Apparently this has been a thing for years, and I only recently got on the train of collecting these mugs wherever I go. It's a smart idea of Starbucks to make these collector items that makes you stop at every location per region, both in the US and worldwide, and now other franchises like Peet's have climbed in board with their own set of regional mugs. Upon entry into this newly built Starbucks, with its drive-thru fully operational and humming along, you will notice one thing, how much light and airiness is now present in the interior. Starbucks even with their more recent remodel has had a darkness to them especially inside. Not with this new location however, both the interior and exterior have a more light granite touch to them, with the counter area being the biggest improvement over older locations. I also noticed how that affected the dining area with the elongated table and small cafe tables enjoyed by individuals and groups on their laptops discussing business or otherwise. You'll also notice a lot more lounging areas with big chairs and end tables for many a patron to sit there for hours no doubt. And this concept carries over to their outside patio that attempts to resemble a outdoor cafe on the banks of a river in Europe, Yes I'm being serious.) with its adaptable landscaping including drought resistant shrubbery. Once again, I was really here for the mug that says Oklahoma on it, and thankfully I easily found it on their rack of engraved Starbucks swag against the wall. (Would you imagine it any other way?) what I was surprised to learn that there is a newer mug collection called "Been There" with mugs featuring a number of drawn historical local landmarks of the area. It was cute, but a little busy on the drawings of so many items across the face of one mug. So I went with "You Are Here" with it red and white monotone look, I was sold. Of course, when I approach the counter to pay for my mug, imagine my surprise when I check in on my Starbucks app that this afternoon was another of those Starbucks Happy Hour that featured a 3 dollar deal for Frappuccino Blended Beverage. Even though I just off of lunch and was full, of course I couldn't pass up a Happy Hour deal like that. So I went with the Grande Serious Strawberry Frappuccino. The service was quick and easy and inside was very clean. Although my Frapp was seriously sweet upon my first sip, I applaud Starbucks for thinking outside the box when it comes to their newer Frappuccinos. I mean everything can't have coffee in it if this franchise is going to evolve, and I wasn't the only one to order it as I saw a couple of people sipping the Strawberry Frapp in particular. I walked into this new Starbucks hoping to get my souvenir mug and walked out with a medium frozen drink in one hand and my mug in its box in another. They have been on the ball from day one. They are so great here only had a mess up once and I come way to often to say. I mostly do drive through but once a month I come inside and work for a day. One of the least pleasant experiences I've had recently at a Starbucks. We were the only customers in line at the Drive Thru at 5:50am, but it still took 10 minutes to get our order. When we did get our order, the food was wrong and rather than handing out drinks and saying what they were, we were instructed to look at the stickers on the cups under the sleeves because we could "read them ourselves". The young man at the window was not the most pleasant. Very glad this is not my normal Starbucks and definitely won't be coming back to this location. read more
