Been to this Starbucks a few times, the one thing about this location over others is the staff is very friendly. Though is a smaller Starbucks with no drive thru it feels cozy. It doesn't have as much inside seating as other Starbucks might have. I've had small orders and larger orders here and the staff seems capable of fulfilling either, including at times throwing in some extra goodies at no charge. read more

Starbucks - Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher and Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Durham, North Carolina

Awesome as always. Staff makes it special. Best Starbucks around. They always go out of the way to ensure a great experience.

DO NOT COME HERE !! 1. I was given the wrong order 2. They refused to help 3. They were very rude about helping me and tired to rush me out the door when there was no one in there. If I could leave a 0 star I would ! 0/10 experience.... read more

This is a standalone Starbucks (not inside HT like someone mentioned here). Eh... typical Starbucks. Has some seating inside and outside. I go here occasionally and while all baristas are nice and friendly, on a few occasions my drink is made not right at this location. Like today, I had matcha latte with a pump or caramel syrup and salted caramel cold foam (you should try it!!); and my drink did not have the cold foam. The drink should be uniform light green color with white top -- the foam, -- but the foam was just not there, and no salted caramel flavor either, so it wasn't just mixed in, it was not there. I know they would remake it if you mention, but I had to run and didn't have time to wait. Oh well! read more

I ordered a trenta mango dragon fruit lemonade refresher. I finished it in 5 minutes because it filled top to bottom with ice. big, chunky, ice cubes. filled to the brim! that's so ghetto. I feel scammed. worst $6.40 I've ever spent. read more

This Starbucks is awesome. I go about 2-3 times a week. The morning staff is very friendly and they have great customer service. During COVID, I have been ordering on my phone and picking up from inside. My order is always ready when I arrive so I'm usually in and out in a few seconds. Today I ordered: - a venti pike ($2.65): good flavor and reasonable price - coffee cake ($2.95): crumbly and delicious, perfect level of sweetness - a pup cup (free): of course my dog loves these and is always excited when we knows we are going to Starbucks. The staff at this location is always happy to give us one of these which has really added to my positive experience. I am a regular here and will continue to be. read more

Great Starbucks. We stopped by for a FREE espresso drink during their Dec promo. The line was very long but the baristas were doing a great job of cranking out the drinks quickly and efficiently. Cashiers were friendly and helpful. It's not a very big Starbucks. They do have outdoor seating. I would definitely stop by again. read more

Came in here early one day for coffee, sat down to eat my snack too and promptly spilled my entire coffee all over the table and floor. They cleaned up my mess immediately, despite being busy, and replaced my coffee. Super nice people work here and the service is terrific. read more

This Starbucks is located right across the street from the Streets of Southpoint mall. It's located in a smaller shopping plaza. Parking is kind of tight. My biggest disappointment is that there's no drive-thru. When I visited, they seemed to be particularly busy and apparently understaffed. They only had 2 people working for quite some time until a third person showed up (about after a 20-minute wait). I wasn't able to order my preferred drink, because they didn't have almond milk available. Instead I placed an order for 2 refreshers for my kids. We waited quite a while for our drinks to be ready. The staff was very nice and friendly, but they did seem a bit overwhelmed. I probably wouldn't come back to this location just on the inconvenience of not having a drive thru and having to wait. read more

Pretty good Starbucks. Smaller than a lot of them in the area. Considering how tiny the Starbucks is in the SouthPoint mall across the street, you'd think there would be a much bigger one here. It has a bunch of 2 seat tables and some larger tables, but not as many as a big Starbucks like on Guess Road. read more

I have been battling an infection at home with a two month old baby and worsening back pain from having to rest (and also being barely able to get out of bed). Today was the first day I was able to get out of the house and I went to see my chiropractor. After my adjustment I felt much better and was going to swing by Starbies to treat myself because sometimes motherhood is just hard. I ordered two drinks and one sandwich. The barista who took my order asked if I wanted an extra scone she had accidentally heated up. Naturally I said YES PLEASE OH WOW. Well then I get home and open my bag of food and that ANGEL from the LORD gave me two breakfast sandwiches, a blueberry scone, and a slice of lemon cake. I don't know what prompted her to do this but wow, I needed a win, even if just in the form of food. It immediately lifted my spirits for the day and I'm so grateful! 5/5 stars for you, barista! I'm also sorry I don't remember your name but if you read this, you know who you are! read more

The Starbucks baristas at this location were amazingly fast. I placed a mobile order when we were about 3 minutes away and when we got there they were already made even though there was quite the crowd their. The drinks were quite delicious, but I guess there the same at all Starbucks locations. The baristas were also super nice and took very good care of me. They asked if I needed anything and they gave me extra points since I left a quite nice tip. If you are ever craving coffee and you want something fast you should definitely come here! read more

Great customer service at this location. I walked in and was greeted very politely. The team working was really quick. I had a new coffee recipe I wanted to try and they made it perfectly! Will definitely go back. read more

One star because 0 isn't an option. Slowest Starbucks ever. Don't bother mobile ordering. I order my drinks from several miles away from this location. I always have to stand around in the location for atleast 10 minutes. Today I read my drink would be ready at 10:26. It's now 10:39. This is not a one time occurrence. This is every single time!!! Why do I bother mobile ordering when I walk in and watch people standing in line getting their drinks in a timely manner? read more

If you want your drink made wrong every time you order, please come here it'll be perfect for you It literally doesn't matter if you put in a mobile order, order in person, you can even sit there and watch them make it and it'll STILL come out wrong!! It sucks being a caffeine addict and working in the same shopping center because I have no other choice but the headache this place gives will make you think you can start you 7am shift with no coffee to avoid the hassle of dealing with this staff. I will be buying a Keurig after I finish this review. read more

This Starbucks is right across the street from South Point Mall and right next to PF Chang's off Fayettville Road. The parking lot is a bit of a pain to get in and out of, but the place is always busy and the baristas are friendly and quick. Coffee lovers are always in here typing furiously on their laptops or working on a paper and chatting over a cup o' joe. They always have a nice selection of sale items and unique coffee lover's gifts, if you need a gift for someone who has everything. IMO, Starbucks does not have the BEST coffee around, but they are convenient and consistent when you are in a caffeine slump. read more

I have been to many Starbucks locations, and this is one of my least favorites. For one thing, it's really difficult to park. While I don't mind walking, it can be annoying if it's dark and cold and I have a backpack full of books & my computer so I can meet a friend and study. However, they do have a nice long wooden table for spreading out your work. The music here is too loud, but the staff is pretty nice. I've had some less than stellar experiences, but also some very good ones. This Starbucks is the closest to where I live, so it works, but I wish there was another one nearby... or that Bean Trader's stayed open later. read more

I just went in at 5:24 PM on a Tuesday evening and the person that took my order forgot to put my egg bites in... I said thank you extremely happily with the :-) just so she would look stupid read more

Favorite Starbucks in Durham. In the plaza across the street (Fayetteville Rd) from Southpoint Mall. Friendly and energetic baristas, clean environment, ample seating. Took me a minute to figure this out: electrical outlets are UNDER the booth along the wall. read more

Looked up this Starbucks because they were close and supposedly open until 10:00 pm as advertised on their website etc. Except for tonight. The 2 employees inside decide to shut it down 30 minutes early. Call before you go if you're looking for a late cup of coffee. Complete crap especially when they just stare at you at the door. Edited 9/3.... why does this store continue to disappoint? Taped a paper sign on the door saying they were closing early in observance of Labor Day. The other 3 Starbucks within a mile radius didn't close early. Hmmm.... read more

I have been here twice recently, both times ordering the same thing....tea. I somehow end up waiting and waiting and WAITING for my drink, while multiple people that come in and ordered at the register after me, get their drinks and leave, while I'm STILL WAITING. Starbucks is an awesome chain of coffee shops. I love this one in particular as its close to my favorite mall. Parking is often times a struggle as the coffee shop is located in a busy business complex. Came in for the samdwich, but was told oven was broken. So sad. Service was good, location is fine too. Plenty of parking

Yeah, I support the coffee giant. As a frequent traveler I like that I have something familiar and consistent when I'm away from home. This Starbucks, which was thankfully right next to my hotel, totally delivered on everything I need. The baristas in the morning were so very friendly and remembered me when I came back later to get a refill even though I was in business clothes instead of the just-out-of-bed tracksuit. I like that kind of service. Thanks for making my week on the road a little sweeter :) read more

This place is Truly AMAZING! Everyone is always to kind and cheerful. But I especially want to point out the superb customer service from Russell. The world needs more people like Russell. Someone give this man a Raise!! read more

It's a Starbucks, so don't get your hopes up or dashed about the food selection or quality. You'll reliably get what you expect, and for that reason I'd normally give a place three stars. The service at this location, however, earns a fourth star. read more

Can't go wrong with a cold drink from Starbucks. Their app makes it so easy to pay and order. There's plenty of different drinks to choose from and the calorie information is all there for you. My usual order is a skinny vanilla latte. It's always good and I've never had a complaint about this coffee choice. I ordered a frappicino the other day and decided on the caramel with skim milk. It was so tasty and refreshing for a warm summer day. I'd also recommend the green tea frap which I've had before and it's very good. The service is pretty slow at this location. There's usually a line and be prepared to wait quite a bit before your coffee is ready. read more

The folks at this location are particularly nice. Sure, they get overwhelmed sometimes, but even when the line is really long, they definitely try to keep it moving. I always recommend ordering using the app, so you can skip the line. read more

Worst Starbucks ever!! The employees are clueless, they have no idea what are they doing. I order up an ice caramel macchiato it was awful ! No coffee taste in it it was just milk with tons of ice and caramel. It's not the first time they screw up. I guess is my fault for going back knowing that this specific location have employees who don't even know how to prepare their drinks. read more

I love Starbuck, I seriously have given them way too much money. There is no surprise that this is a busy location being so close to the mall, but it seriously is. Every time I go in there is no seating and minimal parking. I would say wait time is about average but there is always a line due to the mass amount of people that come through. If you can find a parking space, then this is definitely a great location to go to. read more

Any other place cant compete with Starbucks. I love to go here and this is my IBF's signature place to go. We went everyday when we met. The refresher drinks are also really good. Their espresso is reaallyyy strong though. Their cake pops are also very moist. I'm in love!! read more

The staff don't seem to have the same sense of urgency as many other Starbucks locations. The baristas were busy chatting and laughing amongst themselves instead of providing good customer service. I recommend trying another location instead. read more

Solid baristas, especially if you're staying for a while and you see how they interact with other customers: they're friendly, they know people's orders, and they are friendly to each other as coworkers. I mostly come to study, but have telecommuted for work as well; my experiences have always been positive. Lines can be long in waves throughout the day, but other times you can waltz right in and out super quickly. Seating can be a little tight and parking competes with PFChang, Jared, and the day spa, which keeps this at 4 stars. read more

I was pleased with this Starbucks. Good coffee, good service, good location -- good stuff! On my visit, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the patio was pleasantly sunny. I sipped coffee while eating a packed lunch and reading a book, and all was right in the world. Wonderful! My thanks goes out to all associated with this coffee shop. I am grateful for, and have benefited from, your work and service. Keep it up, guys and gals! read more

This is a pretty good Starbucks. The staff is nice and the coffee is usually pretty spot-on. The only thing that's pretty irritating is that they don't update their available items on the app...My standard order has been marked as "sold out" for months from their store on the app even though I have ordered it in person multiple times. Kind of frustrating when you want to order on the way and grab it to go, which I usually do. read more

I come here way more than I probably should because lately I've found that I simply can't live without Starbucks before my shift at work. Typically I wouldn't say a Starbucks warrants a yelp review, but I have to say one of the reasons why I'm reviewing this particular location is because of the fact that the baristas here actually remember you AND are extremely quick and efficient. I am always in and out with plenty of time before my work shift and my drink is always perfectly made and the employees are friendly. I removed a star only because their menu is incomplete and so the first couple times I came here I didn't think I could get my favorite drink (strawberries and cream frap w/toffee nut syrup, aka "Crunchberry Frap"). Lo and behold I found out they did offer that, it just wasn't on their menu. Not any of the employee's faults, but mildly irritating enough for me to feel like this location doesn't warrant 5 stars. Also gave it a high review because this location has a wide variety of gluten free snacks that make my tummy happy! Hooray! read more
