I couldn't believe getting there 5 minutes after open at 8am on a Saturday that there would be a line out the door, but I can absolutely see why. I also got a caramel iced latte, which was also quite good first thing in the morning. The service was fast and friendly as they kept the line moving and getting everyone their food. I think I waited all of 5 minutes or so once my order was in. Their interior space is also cozy and friendly with lots of wood tones too. All in all, a really great place to stop and get a couple treats!

My friend told me she really liked their matcha so I had to try it myself. I tried the ube dream matcha and the milky matcha which had vanilla. They are beautiful, Instagrammable drinks! I ordered the Ube Dreamzzz but substituted the matcha foam for espresso and vanilla foam. The drink was stunning, and absolutely delicious. My biggest gripe was having to stand in the ramen line to order just drinks. I felt a little judged for customizing my drink, but that didn't stop me. The drink was AMAZING. The foam was super thick and creamy, the ube was perfectly balanced, and the espresso was incredible as well. This drink alone has inspired me to start trying matcha based drinks! If the base drink is this good, I think I might like it with matcha!

We visited twice for our road trip. For our first visit, we picked up a croque monsieur for take-out as our lunch at COSI: Center of Science and Industry. The sandwich held up well and was plenty for our girls to share. For our second visit, we dined in for breakfast and tried the raisin pinwheel, pain au chocolat, spinach quiche, and coffee. My girls thoroughly enjoyed their pain au chocolat and did not share at all. The spinach quiche was silky with a flakey crust. It is likely one of our most memorable quiches. The raisin pinwheel had a very delicate, caramelized crust with the right amount of raisins. I enjoyed my coffee but I couldn't finish a cup during our stay. Patrons are welcomed to grab a to-go cup at the front counter and take more coffee to go.
