Highly disappointed! I was having a discussion with someone and the manager came over after a few minutes in and said that we needed to order. We kindly said that we will be ordering shortly. I normally order right away for myself and my guest but she waved me over and started talking right away. He circled right back and said that we had to order or leave. I was taken aback because it was about 10:30 in the morning, the location was rather empty and he had only approached us. We were dressed in business casual attire and were speaking in moderate tones. My acquaintance was a 70 year old woman. There was no reason to be so aggressive with us and single us out. I reminded him that we would be placing an order, commented that he was overreaching and to give us the opportunity to get a breaking point in our conversation. About 20-30 minutes later, we purchased as promised. I was inclined to not buy ANYTHING but he already assumed that about us. I was determined to not fall into his stereotype. I don't want to place my hard earned dollars where I'm not respected. Blue drink: Passion Iced Tea, soy milk, and vanilla syrup - in some ratio (not sure). Pink drink: 4 packs acai berry tea. 1 cup hot boiling water. 1/2 cup white grape juice. 1-2 cups unsweetened coconut milk. Fresh sliced strawberries. Agave nectar, optional. This is truly the most disappointing Starbucks I've visited. I keep going back (mostly, because it's close to work) with the hopes that possibly it was a bad day, or they were just off. Nope, they're "off" every time I visit. No smiles, no greeting when you walk in, no simple "thank you" after you place your order. No recognition for that matter. We had one person in front of us and we ordered a Latte and an Americano and it took 15 minutes to get our order. No sugar, no stirrers, empty creamer and just a sloppy looking prep area. This place is great, when it isn't blasting music so loud that it almost sounds like a night club in here. There's a worker named Santiago that pretty much ruins every drink he makes and tries to turn the Starbucks into a night club instead of maybe focusing on his job, I also don't think the music being played is work appropriate sometimes. The music is up so loud to the point that it's distracting and bleeds into our ear buds as if we aren't even wearing them. I'm not kidding, I got AirPods Pro that can't push the music out from the speakers out from my ears with full volume, that's how loud it is in here. This is one of starbucks worst stores to work at. The manger talks inappropriately about female employees, if you have school and request certain times off he will not work with you or be flexible. He does not take of store and previous managers would jump in and help team but this manager chooses to sit on laptop and 1 out of a billion times will help. The pay isn't that great for dealing with half the things that go on behind the scenes and if you train someone or travel a different store he won't recognize that and will not pay extra for that work.
