This Cherry Creek 3rd and Columbine St. Starbucks used to be the best location in Denver. Do they no longer have a manager that comes into this location? The bathrooms are unserviced Trashcan is overflowing. They are not even busy right now. Why aren't one of the kids behind the counter doing something about this? The music is awful. That staff are very nice and respectful. The atmosphere is very ambient and comforting during the slower times. I only typically ever order drinks there but their food is good as well. There's only been a couple instances where I order cold drinks and they give me a hot drink especially if it happens to be a snowy day. I just assume that they assume everyone wants hot drinks on a snowy day. Not the case for me! Either way I wasn't disappointed. read more

Decided to stop by and give this location a 2nd chance. Last time here the place was dirty...this time it was dirtier!!! Crumbs on tables and floor. The green upholstered chairs need to be reupholstered. The fabric is all pilled up and the food stains are really gross. Not what I'm accustomed to seeing at a Starbucks! This is the furthest Starbucks from home, however, when I am up for a longer walk than normal in the morning this Starbucks is my go to choice. This one is bigger than normal with excellent interior design and furnishings. I always find people who are camped out with laptops and books enjoying the comfortable atmosphere. Service comes and goes depending on the day and if they are training new people. As a former barista I always see the potential for better and more efficient service. I typically use my mobile ordering app to prevent the sometimes confusion when I order a Quad Macchiato. Somehow I always get a new barista who wants to tell me that I really want a Caramel Macchiato which is never the case; I know exactly what I'm ordering. I'm a hard core espresso drinker - don't question me! I drink one daily. This location has a large patio which typically has a dog or two lying around (maybe mine). People watching here is also a lot of fun which has already been stated in previous reviews. A friend once told me that you can tell the Cherry Creek locals by who is wearing spandex and she is completely right (I hate to admit). I'm a local and I am always and I mean always in spandex walking in the Creek. You may be watching me if you frequent this Starbucks. This is my place to 1) get my MBA program completed, 2) people watch some of the most ridiculous in Denver and 3) be inspired. Let me explain. 1) This is by far the most comfortable Starbucks in Denver. The internet is fast and reliable. The music is calming and at a reasonable volume. The staff is friendly and the drinks are tasty. This all results in a bacon and caffiene fueled school assignment adventure that usually leaves me feeling success and regret all at the same time. 2) It's Cherry Creek and most of these people have too much money spend on complicated clothing. Simple as that. 3) While completing assignments, you may overhear a conversation or two that will either make you cringe or will cause you to think. Most often it's the latter, and causes me to take action in one way or another. It's not often you can receive this combination of success, inspiration and utter disappointment all in one package, but this new Starbucks delivers strongly on each. read more

Typical Starbucks, but a bit larger. Have always had a good experience here. Staff is friendly and the line moves quickly. NOTE: this location does have a Clover machine. If you enjoy a good, rich coffee flavor, I haven't found a better brew. Starbucks that offer a clover brew also offer Reserve coffees, a step up from their already good offers. Enjoy! read more

I consider myself somewhat of a Starbucks connoisseur. Not because I think their coffee is the best on the planet but because I like their culture. Typically I frequent locally owned businesses because I like to support the little guy. But I still keep coming back to Starbucks because they manage to consistently pull off the small business feel while being the behemoth that they are! I have to agree with Steve S.... this place is ridiculously nice. My favorite Starbucks environment to date, and I have been in way more Starbucks than I care to mention. I park and walk 5 blocks to get here... sometimes in the snow! Yup, just like my parents. ;) Do they make drink errors sometimes? Sure! But they always make it right. I am not happy with the way Doug treated me today at Starbucks. He made my drink wrong and denied it. One of the other workers had to apoligize for him and make it again, correctly. I ordered an iced white mocha. At the register, he even said, "Iced, venti, white mohca" and continued to make my drink wrong. When I said I ordered it iced, he proceeded to deny this statement by saying, "It was ordered hot." Then dismissed this and went on to make another customer's drink. This has happened with countless other people I have spoken to who have come to this establishment and had to deal with Doug. I am not pleased with his service or behaivor. read more

This is my neighborhood store, but sometimes it embarrasses me. They need to hire a cleaning company. The floor, tables and counter often need cleaning. There is trash under seating areas. Had to clean crumbs off the patio chairs to be able to sit. Coffee tables look like they have spilt drinks from days ago. The staff here are friendly. read more
