Oleato shaken espresso

Was on a walk with my friend and stumbled on this Starbucks. I kept hearing about this new "olive oil" infused drink and Just had to try it. Wasn't sure if I was going to like it but the barista was nice enough to give us some samples to try it before I bought. I actually liked it and felt like I had to get it for the experience but probably would just order my usual next time. Their is outdoor and indoor seating. All the workers were nice and made sure I was being helped. (Also I had stars so I didn't care but this would've been almost an 8$ drink)

Venti cinnamon dolce latte

Frequent this location at least twice a week as it's less then 5 mins from my job. Drive thru is super convenient and they always are in stock of cinnamon dolce syrup which other locations often are not. Friendly staff as well!

Strawberry acai with lemonade

So I go into the Starbucks on W Atlantic and Hagen Ranch Rd at 3pm on 6/6/22 for a Strawberry Acai with Lemonade. Starbucks advertises this as their #1 drink. Omg, they were OUT of Lemonade And Strawberry's. 2 out of 3!! Not bad!! lol That left me with Acai alone. The shift mgr could have sent an employee to another Starbucks to get the ingredients needed for this drink when he realized he was running short. That would have meant using his noggin. Howie Schultz where are U!!

Iced Blonde Americano

BEVERAGES/BAKED GOODS: My go-to drink is the iced blonde americano. The blonde coffee is not as bitter tasting as the regular coffee. I also really like the blueberry scones, which they will warm up if you'd like. *This location recently started using adult sippy cup lids for cold drinks as an alternative to using plastic staws at Starbucks. It also now offers paper straws if preferable. ATMOSPHERE: There are small tables near outlets which I like for working on my laptop. There are longer tables and larger group table as well. There is also a little outdoor seating area. I like how there is background music. Overall, this is a great location, with good seating choices. I only wish it was even bigger for the busy hours.

Love this table!

The company was sold and now there are only these stores. There are about 6 retail locations in South Florida. We got to sample some of their dark chocolate and peanut butter candy. It was very rich ... and very good. This location is quite popular. A perfect spot to come for dessert after dining at one of the nearby restaurants in the Delray Marketplace.

The chocolate we bought was great. This time? Completely different story. We walked in--me and my 88-year-old father--and not a word. No "hello," no acknowledgment, nothing. Just silence. There was one other mother and daughter in the store, so it's not like they were slammed. We start looking around, trying to figure things out on our own. I noticed the sample tray under the glass dome and walked over. All that was left were crumbs. I joked, "Wow, those are really small samples," before realizing there weren't any samples left at all. The employee hears me, walks over, takes the entire tray away... and still says nothing. No "sorry about that," no offer to bring out more, no attempt to engage. Just removes it and goes back to ignoring us. At that point, we walked out. I'm not going to spend premium prices in a place that can't even manage basic customer service. If you want to charge premium prices, you need to provide premium service. That starts with something as simple as acknowledging customers when they walk in the door. I likely won't be back.

Cafe Landwer - Hummus with short ribs

It was very tender, came with a fresh, minced tomato salad, and served split, whole. Pita was good, hot, fresh, soft and fluffy inside with a light exterior crisp. Chicken schwarma dinner with rice is tender and flavorful. Short rib hummus was OK. The hummus is nice and velvety, but the short ribs could've used more seasoning and was dry and hard around the edges. The chicken made a better pairing. Service was slow and lacking. We were seated quickly, but it took a while for a waiter to come. After being seated just past 7pm, our appetizer arrived 20+ minutes after ordering, and entrees didn't come until 8pm. Nearby empty tables went unwiped for most of our stay, and it was off-putting to watch staff only partially clean them while handling the tops of salt and pepper shakers with unclean hands. I was not surprised to see health violations listed here afterwards. The experience worsened with dessert. Our Basque cheesecake came with a thick layer of chocolate instead of the berry coulis listed on the menu. When I mentioned the discrepancy so he could inform future guests, the waiter repeatedly suggested I speak to the manager, despite me saying it wasn't necessary. His tone wasn't kind, and it felt dismissive--especially since he had served the dish and could clearly see the difference. We will not be returning nor recommending.

The experience just didn't come together. There was a bit of an attitude on arrival -- even with a reservation -- which set the wrong tone. From there, the service felt frenetic, with repeated warnings about kitchen delays, and the very loud atmosphere made for an overall uncomfortable evening. Dining is about more than just the food, and I was surprised that a place promoting its European roots didn't deliver the level of service and hospitality typically associated with that tradition. That said, the food was excellent and the pricing very fair. We had the Chicken Shawarma Hummus Bowl with pita, Chopped Salad, Kebab (the only dish I wasn't wild about), Pesto Burrata Pizza, and Landwer's Famous Schnitzel entrée -- a strong lineup overall. A real shame, because this place has the potential to be great.

Service was very quick! Cashier was funny and informative. The matcha was extremely earthy. I definitely should have sweetened it a bit looking back even though it tasted authentic. My mom loved her tea. The indoor space was very large. There were a bunch of games such scrabble, card games and others that customers could take off the shelf and play! The only negative thing I have to say was that the music was painstakingly loud that I could barely hear my mom and she was sitting right in front of me at the table. It was also super cold inside on a day in Florida where it was in the 30-40s range of temps outside. Overall, I would love to come back to try the coldbrew! Additionally, they had a cute winter seasonal menu that I would want to come back for.

DO NOT COME HERE…read more They banned my autistic friend for saying "racial and religious" comments but wouldn't clarify to her what she said. She is literally the nicest person I've ever met and has literally been involved in almost every single progressive cause since I met her back at Columbia. She's hosted interfaith events with Christians and Muslims and Sikhs, worked on homelessness, even was recognized by the White House 2x for her work on homeless students by both Obama's DOE and Trump's DOE, has donated multiple summers time to work with predominately POC communities in Harlem, and we've even volunteered doing hundreds of hours of pro-LGBT activism to help genderqueer and trans people get equal rights at Columbia. But why was she banned? The owner wouldn't tell her. But she did mention that she made (according to the owner) "racial and religious" remarks and said that "we don't talk about those issues here." What racial comments? She's half Latino and one of her adoptive families is Arab/Indian. Nobody in my life, past 10 years, has said she's said anything even mildly offensive. This is why I'm so confused. She also said multiple other people complained about her. What could my 29-yo autistic friend say that was SO offensive to adults in Floridda that they felt they all had to report her? I hope we will find out in the coming weeks as we work with local rabbis and other business officials with the city. Thankfully the person who overheard Esta is coming with me to meet my rabbi in Boca and a discrimination official in two days days and we are going to see what we can do with the recording we have. Sadly, this comes down the human decency. My friend is distraught and is so sad she/we can't come back to the bar. She doesn't want trouble, she just wants to know what she did wrong. As an advocate for the neurodivergent community and my friend of many years, this to me is unacceptable. Please read up on neurodivergent kids and the struggles they face making friends and not accidently being offensive. If she really said anything offensive to someone's face, why not just pull her aside and explain why? Why wait till multiple people complain and then ban her? Not everyone is neurotypical and how is she supposed to fix her alleged behavior if she doesn't know what's wrong. This is really sad because she's been through so many years of therapy since college to even be able to talk in public and now she feels like she should hide. But I will not be taking my business here anymore. And I will be telling all the Jewish and Neurodivergent groups in Boca Delray and Pompano. It sucks because your green apple kratoms are so good. And the new cake is pretty good too. I really don't know what to make of this. After knowing her for almost 10 years and seeing her struggle to make friends, it's almost unimaginable that she would ever intentionally say something negative to someone's face and mean it. She is horrified that she may have offended someone and is traumatized by the whole thing. And you can't even tell her what she did wrong?
