It was Longest wait ever!! I assume everyone needed coffee this morning lol. Or maybe they're short staffed. The Parking lot stays crowded and the way the drive thru sits makes it hard for others cars to pass through to get to other establishments Sharing the same parking lot. I ordered simple (caramel Frappuccino with the light whip and the two piece bacon egg and cheese bites ) but I still end up having to wait when I got to the window for my order that Was placed with almost 4 cars ahead of me. The young lady at the window with all the really cool piercings was really sweet, and she even gave me compliments as we waited for my bacon egg bites. I don't frequent this location but I have stopped there before when Leaving my dentist office which is also located in the same shopping center . I'd more than likely stop there again , but will probably walk in next time, hopefully that'll knock down some of the waiting time. read more

Pros: My order was prepared correctly and the food was as expected. (Chain foods are pretty consistent). They also have a computer screen in the drive thru that highlights your order so you can confirm that the order was received accurately. Cons: My bacon and Gruyere egg whites were served in an oatmeal bowl rather than the trays they are normally served in which caused them to stick together. I assume they were out of the traditional packaging. Also, the drive through wait line is slooooowwww. I sat in line for about 12 minutes from the time I entered the line to the time I received my order. There is a curb on the right side of the drive through so exiting the line early is not an option if someone happens to pull up behind you before you even get to the order window (unless you are in a car that can handle a curb jump). read more

Disappointed. I waited 15 min standing in line to order when I was literally the 2nd person in line the whole time and then another 15 min for my order. They said they were way backed up and just could not take our order at their time so we had to stand there until they were ready to take our orders. Seating inside sucks so if you plan on going to study don't go here. They only have 4 TINY tables each with 2 chairs, if you would call them that. They are more like a one person bench no back support and uncomfortable. I tried to sit and study but had no room on the table and my back was hurting. Not exactly the fastest starbucks I have been to. There were about 10 to 12 cars in the drive thru when I arrived. I decided to place my order via mobile while waiting. It took 30 mins to get through the drive thru line and get my drinks. It looked like they were fully staffed, so I don't know why it took so long. read more

I've been coming to this Starbucks for years and it's okay. Compared to other locations, this one is average. The service is a 3/5 and drive through takes forever. Sometimes they run out of certain beverages or snacks by the afternoon (usually always). My favorites are hot vanilla latte, iced machiatto, the cold brews and the multigrain bagel, toasted. Their service is not my favorite, but once in a while they will run out of something or take forever that they'll just give you the order. From my morning experience, they do have long lines but the drive through line actually moves along smoothly. If you come here after noon, that's when lines take forever. read more

Dear Business Owner, For the love of coffee, clean this place up! This is by far the dirtiest Starbucks I have ever been in. Even before you get inside the trash is overflowing, the desperate need for a pressure wash, the dirty windows, tables and floors. Take some pride of ownership and wipe down these walls and baseboards. Clean the coffee off these tired leather chairs. I refused to go to the bathroom because I'm scared. I waited over twenty minutes for my flavorless venti vanilla bean Frappuccino. The "extra" caramel drizzle was what is pictured. Typically, it's drizzled in the cup then poured. The food, drinks, and service here are good. The employees are consistently great. There are a few who have been at this location more than five years and are wonderful. I have never had an issue with a wrong order. The drive though is usually long but quick. BUT the vagrancy at this location is out of control. You will be pestered at the drive through. I have seen fights on the lawn. You will be hit up for money multiple times by the same people. The vagrants leave a lot of food trash, beer cans, and litter. I have seen rocks being thrown at cars who did not give handouts at the SW intersection of Communications Dr and Cockrell Hill Road. I have seen people being spit at. I saw a vagrant pull a knife on another vagrant during a fight. I am at this location Mon-Fri around 10A. It has been escalating in aggression as the vagrant population has increased exponentially here the last four years. read more

Its all about location, location, location. This particular store is a few miles from my home in Kessler Park. But to me, it is worth the 10 minute drive. There is an incredibly convenient drive through, which is rare in my area of Dallas. Love that and wish more of their brick & mortar stores has this option. Especially on hot & humid Texas summer days or snappy cold winter one's. Which seem to be 90% of the weather here in Dallas, bless it's heart. Parking can be a bit tricky with a bank & fast food restaurant surrounding this store on Cockrell Hill, right off the 30 freeway. Just take your time pulling out of a parking space, as there will always be very impatient driver's flying around every corner. A nice half fenced in patio with umbrellas is perfect the other 10% of the days when weather is bearable to be outside. Some folks refer to those days as Spring & Fall. Interesting. It is what it is. At least we don't get many tornadoes or earthquakes. Anyways yet. This store has a dozen or so tables and a few leather bucket chairs to sit and relax. Love that. With a center work table for 10, I cannot see whether there are electronic outlets for our beloved devices to recharge. Maybe they will upgrade that option soon. Pleasant music is piped out in perfect pitch. Not to loud and not too quiet. Just that right balance of happy chill Zen tunes to be enjoyed. I appreciate that as well. The baristas here are so down to earth cool. No rudeness or laziness detected, at all. Just happy polite Dallasites serving up caffeine juju galore to the overworked and exhausted. Perhaps there are a few of us coffee aficionados that really relish that gorgeous coffee aroma and taste. The rest is frosting on the cake of life. The cleanliness is good. No sugar packets or debris on counters. Creamers are filled. Food products are stocked adequately with plenty of options in various price points to choose from. Yummers. Staff morale seems high, which lends to this store's management and overall care. Only downside. Panhandlers/Solitations from people selling outside items or needing bus fare. I feel for other's. But it is awkward when someone is in your space pressuring for help. Most retail stores usually ask these type of individuals to politely leave. Haven't seen this staff address this issue. This is a perfectly good Starbucks, conveniently located in Cockrell Hill right by the I-30 onramp. Given this location it naturally has a drive-thru, but today I decided to go inside (to use the restroom as well as grab an iced Americano). It was surprisingly crowded for an early Thursday afternoon, plenty of folks lounging in the sitting area, but no line and a fully stocked pastry case. Things were a little hectic behind the counter and at first I didn't realize the barista was speaking to me and not into her headset, but everyone was perfectly polite and I got my coffee very quickly. The restroom was a little on the messy side, paper towels and some toilet paper on the ground, not overly disgusting but clearly it hadn't been checked in a while. Overall I'd say A-OK is a good way to describe it, and if I'm in the area again I'll certainly stop by, maybe try to drive-thru. read more

Dropped by here on our way to the Interlochen Lights display for a coffee; since it was cold out and we anticipated rolling down the windows (dang window tint at night), I decided to get a hot coffee instead of my usual cold.
