I always say Starbucks is so overrated and my visit here proved as such. Not only was it packed and busy. Could barely get through the door, which is kind of expected since so many people love Starbucks. Had I been closer to a different coffee shop I wouldn't have chosen this place. I did a mobile order to which it stated it would take 13 minutes. Cool, since I had to walk there anyways. Get there and wait well beyond my completion time. Was never greeted upon entry. Drinks are thrown a shelf to be picked up. And let's get down to the actual drink. My drink was not paid as I ordered and since I had already waited over the time, I did not want to ask for it to be remade. I have lived in Grand Central Park for about 4 years but this was my first time to visit this Starbucks. Corporate should pull this franchise. The place is filthy!!! The staff are not your typical Starbucks employees as these people act like they are doing you a favor to even acknowledge you. Not terribly busy at 11:30am but it took them 10 minutes to fill the empty cream dispenser I brought to the counter. All the counters and silver under counter storage are filthy and the amount of trash and sludge on the floors is terrible. The health inspector would shut this place down if they inspected today. Is it always this dirty? I have no idea but I promise I will not be back to find out. read more

HORRIBLE!! I went after work during the week at approximately 3:30 p.m. and we never got anyone to take our order. We walked in and there was only 1 person making the drinks and the person working the drive thru window. I waited about 10 minutes with not one person to ask me for my order. What has happened to this Starbucks? Came by this Sunday evening and it was a hot mess. The drive thru is usually really good, quick & smooth. I asked for their Houston Been There Series cup & the girl said she couldnt sell it to me at the drive thru. Made absolutely no sense. She called her manager & the manager said the same thing. I asked why cant I just purchase the coffee mug, what was the big deal & they said there were too many cars behind me. I told her Im not asking to look at it, Im going to just buy it. I don't see what the issue was. I told her Im not asking to take a look, Im asking to add it to my tab and just give me the mug. The last time I went at 6am and ordered two grande blonde roasts was the only person in the drive thru and still waited an insane amount of time for something that should be simple. Today I ordered the Carmel macchiato with the oat milk because I'm lactose intolerant and of course they put the 2%. I'm not sure if it's poor management or if they just don't like doing their job. But after several crappy experiences I'm not wasting my money at this location anymore. Literally the Starbucks inside the Krogers makes better drinks and food and they are across the parking lot. read more

Worst service ever!. Cashier was waving his hand everywhere saying he needs a break. He had on some make up and his hair was about shoulder length. Taking my order and still complaining about taking a break nonstop to the girls that were behind him rolling their eyes. Rudely asked if I was done ordering while looking at his cellphone. As soon as I paid he ask if I wanted my receipt. I said no thanks so he grabs the receipt all loud and chunks it in the trash below. Then this lazy ass walked out of the Starbucks shop while on his phone just to sit in the food court area texting. 10 minutes later I get my 3 items that I ordered, asked for a straw and napkins and I'm told they're out... Should've mentioned that before hand, no wonder why the people that left before me were upset. Rude customer service and out of stuff. Great sooo I got 3 fraps with whip cream on top and I have no straw. Caramel dripping on the side of the cups. This location has really long wait times! I waited ten minutes in the drive thru to get a drink that looked like someone who had drank a quarter of it. Needless to say it was a waste of ten dollars. The other drink was full of bubbles and looked like it was thrown together with no care. read more

If you go here before 7ish, it is fine. I usually come to this Kroger between 8 and 9. Every time I come here this late, it is obvious the employees are done working. The display case is almost empty. There are certain things you can't get because they have already closed down equipment. Tonight, though, was the icing on the cake. I just wanted a grande coffee. I had already waited in line for about 5 min and left as did the man in front of me without being helped. I did my shopping and came back. The woman who was initially ordering was just then getting her drinks and when I asked for a Pike Place, she said they didn't have any because no one has asked for it. The wait was ridiculous. But that's not the worst part was the barista. She was grabbing drinks out of order so people who were there first, weren't getting drinks first, She wasn't wearing a name but she was very rude to two customers in front of me. One was the drink was incorrect. Then the next they were out of lemonade so the guy was asking for recommendations, and she tried to argue with him. Went on 7/21 at noon. She cuts me off gives a nasty look and is throwing her hand all over the place while asking me what i say if she waited one more second to run her month she wouldn't have cut me off and heard me.
