This particular Starbucks isn't great. Although it is usually clean and has good table space inside for the size, parking lot and drinks leave a lot to be desired. First, the parking lot design is truly terrible. It's location at the intersection of College and Hwy 123 makes it very difficult to get in and out. Additionally, drive thru goes directly through the very small and limited parking lot, so empty spots are often blocked by cars waiting in drive thru. Drinks-wise, this location is also on the struggle. In 5 visits, my drink has been incorrectly 4 times. They are routinely out of blonde espresso and cold brew but don't update the app. So you come in to the store to pick up your mobile order to find that either 1) it isn't made because they need to ask about substations or 2) is a different drink than you ordered. Of course, because you've already been charged on the app, you pay full price of original drink, even if substitution is cheaper. They need to train their baristas better, update their stocked items, and adjust their offerings on the app as necessary. read more

Why close with zero notice? You are an establishment that has regulars , at least let people know when you'll be closed because this isn't the first time. As well as, i had an item that they ran out of and was given empty refund cards ending in me having to buy the item a second time. I like the food and coffee but the service has to step it up. Especially your morning people. I am an opener myself and i get being tired but just being miserable isn't what anyone wants to hear first thing in the morning. read more

The girl in the stripped beanie this morning was very rude and aggressive. Shouldn't be the first person greeting people because she was very condescending. read more

This drink was absolutely delicious and the braces are super helpful and very nice. The drive-through went very smoothly and I didn't have to wait long even though the line had been built up. They are fast efficient and have a great service. I definitely recommend this one. read more

The individual who was working the drive-through on Tuesday (2/8/22) is rude. When I got up to the window, I asked them if I could scan my Starbucks app to receive the points for my order. They told me that I should have shown them my Starbucks app before handing them my credit card to pay. They then told me that my credit card was declined. Therefore, I gave them my debit card instead. When I checked my bank statements, however, I realized that I had been charged $8.94 on both my credit card and my debit card. When I went back to the store yesterday (2/11/22) to ask for a refund for one of the duplicate charges, the individual working the register handed me a gift card for only $5.00 even after confirming with me that the total was $8.94. Attached is a screenshot of the receipt that I brought with me. Do better, Starbucks. read more

Starbucks - Receipt #687958 - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Clemson, South Carolina

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE customer service on 2/19/22. Someone needs to teach the drive thru guy (man bun with black painted finger nails and earrings) about not being such an unfriendly "jerk" to customers (and I am being polite with that term). The worst experience of any Starbucks I have ever experienced. As someone who frequents Starbucks (mostly in Atlanta) almost daily, when I mentioned a service concern at the drive -thru window to this employee, his response was beyond apathetic. His response was "oh well". My wife and I were speechless as his attitude was one of "too bad". And he basically said that multiple times. Really!!!. When i called him out on it, his response was "OK"!!! Then he just turned around. Never have I seen anything like it. I hope the manager of this Starbucks pays attention to this and either trains/retrains this employee on common decency courtesy to customers and being a friendly person in general or finding someone else to be in a customer-facing role at the drive-thru. I hope that Starbucks as a company will address this as well (I will let them know of course) as it is a reflection on the company. read more

The employees are so rude here. Everything to them is an inconvenience somehow. Drinks and food are so mid.

This particular starbucks is by far the best location I have been in it is very clean and the staff and management team is in top of every thing in the store I would recommend this store to everyone read more

i wish i could give it 0 stars. always packed. NEVER makes my drink right. ridiculous. i'm pissed

I ordered a small coffee like a ding dong and some sweet angel man in a beanie and a nose ring offered to make me a larger coffee out of the kindness of his heart. He is always such a joyful presence whenever I come into this location and he's the best and deserves a raise, thank youuuuu. Xoxo read more

Literally the WORST Starbucks I have been to. I have NEVER waited over 15 minutes( an empty store so you weren't busy) for my drink to be made. And then go be shorted on my drink after paying extra for it. CUSTOMER SERVICE MAYBE?!?!? LAST STARBUCKS ID RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!! read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Clemson, South Carolina

This place is either hit or miss. I frequent this place usually once a day or two and my experience is either good or bad. The only thing that really bothers me is how they are always out of cold brew. Usually in the morning too. How does a coffee shop run out of cold brew early in the morning? The line is also always so long and the parking lot design is terrible. Other than that I haven't had a terrible experience. read more

It's fine as far as Starbucks go. Service is relatively slow as they seem to only cater only to the drive-thru people. I have had to wait at the counter for up to 4 minutes while 3 people stare at me chatting on their headphones. There is one barista in particular who is terrible though. Short, dark-haired with a name tag that says "JuJu". She is constantly texting on her iphone on the job. She has a bad attitude and makes drinks poorly. I often hear her complain about her job and about other customers. In my one month stay at Clemson I unfortunately had to deal with her surly attitude many times. Why is she still an employee Starbucks? As a Seattle-native who knows many Starbucks employees I know that these things are unacceptable but I never see any sort of actions taken by shift leads or managers to rectify them. Maybe things are just different in SC. read more

It's a Starbucks. Although this one is on the small side. They get a lot of college traffic and wifi squatters. Parking? The worst. My advice-park at the Rite Aid next door read more

Terrible experience! I would prefer to give no stars for this visit. With four employees just standing around chatting you'd think one of them could be bothered to take an order. The girl who finally did take my order was very nice and then I waited well over twenty minutes for a grande Frappuccino while employees are getting off shift and getting their orders and food but customers have to wait that's ridiculous. read more

Rates as the worst Starbucks I've visited over several years. I've given this store multiple chances but will never return. The window order takers are fabulous but the Barista quality is poor. My last several lattes were poor. I used the drive through so I didn't bother to go back and demand a remake. Oh well, lessons learned. Will use the new Seneca store and the Easley store from now on. read more

Thanks to Jeremiah, this Starbucks gets 5 stars from me! We had a large group of 12 people and he was on the cash register and kept things really moving for us. I had a problem with my drink--I only drink decaf and it's rare to find a location with it already brewed. He took my order and when I got mine, I asked him if it was a "pour over"--I wish he had told me that was what he was going to do...I really don't like pour-overs--they are so weak. He tried again with more grounds, and then had to try a third time changing to an Americana--it had a horrible flavor. He insisted that he wanted to get it right for me...and wouldn't take "no" for an answer--he wanted me to have something to drink along with the others in my party. He ended up with the suggestion of a bottled juice and he "made it good" with what I had already paid for. THAT, my friends, IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I didn't make it easy for him, but he was persistent! Way to go, Jeremiah! read more

Terrible Starbucks. The drivethru always takes forever and my drink usually isn't made correctly. A lot of inconsistencies here so avoid this one. All in Coffee Shop is way better! read more

Had this after hitting up Dunkin' Donuts this morning. Service was a little slower than other Starbucks I've been to and they messed my order up, but it was quickly fixed. Starbucks in Clemson, eh? They don't even have a Wal-Mart in Clemson... yet. read more

Two stars only for retaining the quality of Starbucks products. But- the service here is AWFUL 5-10 min. wait times just for a regular coffee. NO ONE ON STAFF is ever in any hurry or cares that the drive thru line is wrapped around the building or out the door in the store. I've had enough time to walk out of there drive all the way to the Starbucks in Central at Ingles and get FANTASTIC and FAST service there. FIVE STARS to the Central Ingles Starbucks crew. Clemson Starbucks is by far the worst standalone Starbucks I've ever had the displeasure of visiting. read more

I've never went inside. Drive thru only. The wait time varies. The bacon gouda sandwich is my favorite followed by the sausage and cheddar. They don't serve jelly, so I don't get the sausage sandwich often. Great coffee and friendly staff. read more

This may be the worst experience I have ever had in a Starbucks. The service is subpar AT BEST. While I waited at the register no one came to ask for my order for about 5 minutes. Instead all of the employees were sweeping, standing around, or answering the phone. The service is always inefficient here and my drink takes about 15 minutes to make where as at any other Starbucks it would take maybe 5. Very sorry experience. read more

Nice location just a short drive/walk from "downtown" Clemson . . . Love the outdoor seating this time of year (mid-Sep) . . . The barista I initially interacted with was very friendly/professional and my food & beverage order spot on . . . Had the unfortunate experience of asking a different employee at the bar (she looked like a supervisor of some sort) for a tall water. She didn't look happy, so I thanked her--three times--and she never said a word to me. . . . Didn't even answer when I initially asked for the water (though she gave it to me) . . . Left a bad taste after an otherwise pleasant visit . . . This store is still strong and I'd go again if I'm in the area in the future. read more

I've never been to a Starbucks where the barista has to ask the customer what an Americano is, but then again I've never been to Clemson, SC either. read more

Very dirty. Crumbs all over the floor, coffee drips on the counter. The rag she was using to clean the steamer was literally sitting in a bowl of milk. Baristas were more interested in socializing with their friends then making your coffee. Very unlike any Starbucks I've ever been in. Yuck! read more

Great coffee, fast service. Consistent. Can't go wrong. Big fan of the breakfast sandwich and the oatmeal as well.

We were there on Thanksgiving weekend and even though it was busy due to the local coffee houses being closed, they keep it moving and provided the quality Starbucks product to everyone in our party. I would go back...well, I did a couple of times while in Clemson. read more

Perfectly decent Starbucks. Not a lot of parking or seats inside but the service was quick and easy.

One of my recently found two places to chill/get work done. Friendly staff and atmosphere with adequate seating both inside and on the patio with access to electrical outlets. Not too big on coffee but it's also good as well as their lemon ale and cookies. read more

Always in a rush, this is the third time they got my order wrong or didn't do it good enough to my satisfaction.

First off I will admit I'm biased against Starbucks. Got I gift card so I've been using it up at this location. Several times I've just ordered a small coffee which I've had to remind them 10 minutes later that I ordered. Their service is bunk. read more

They are always out of everything! The menu advertises protein boxes all day which is a big laugh they are always out or don't have certain ones for that day. Do not use the drive through. They are slow, slow, slow. Also, there is a girl clerk at the window who didn't remember my order and rips off customers. I gave her a $20 and she gave change for a $10.
