This is my go to Starbucks because of where I live. They always get my drink right and today one of the baristas was so nice when I asked her to make this complicated drink. She did it perfectly and it's so good. Didn't catch her name but I definitely had to tip her.

This Starbucks location on Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville is a well operated and managed Starbucks that quickly and efficiently gets you your order when you are on the move. The location is very easy to access and the staff here works hard to make sure that everything is right. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here.

Ever since they have remodeled the space, I feel as if the interior is more welcoming in a way. It reminds me of the interior of Biscuit Head due to the community table. They have a giant table where many people can sit around it/together. This location is close to my home and convenient for me. It is also in front of the movie theater.

Dianna in the drive through was efficient and kind. She went out of her way to make me feel seen and welcome. My black tea lemonade was tasty, too!

Grea coffee as expected from Starbucks. Really like this location as it's not really crowded. I came in on a Friday night and there were about 6 people total in the place. The baristas were really personal and knew a lot of the people in the dining room by name.

Whew ! Exhausting day and it ended with my daughter " needing" a Cake pop . She may be 23 but give her a polar bear cake pop and she melts ! Clean beautiful store with super friendly employees.

This is the 12oz matcha green tea latte that I ordered. You'd think they'd be embarrassed. Honestly, I haven't taken as much as a sip!

Worst experience so far at a Starbucks. I was under the impression that the employees had some sort of training in regards to customer service. Apparently this location not so much. I came thru the drive-thru at lunch time and ordered a venti ultra caramel frap. When the young lady at the window handed me the drink I stated that it didn't have any caramel in it, certainly not an amount to warrant the label "ultra" I asked if she could remake it and she took the drink back. The second drink came a short time later with a "is this better?" Comment. It looked better yes, but upon driving away I discovered it was almost entirely foam. With most of my lunch break now gone, I turned back and went into the store. I asked for the manager and a guy named Nick came out of the back. I asked him how much a Venti Ultra Caramel Frap was and he keyed it into the computer and told me it was about $6 and some change. I then asked him if he thought that I had a $6 coffee in my hand and asked him if he could please make me the drink that I paid for. He grabbed the cup from me, chucked it into the sink, and began slamming and throwing things around as if I had done something wrong. He was visibly upset and then started complaining to another worker, (bigger guy with piercings) At that point I was done inconveniencing them and asked for a refund. He came back with a "oh you want your money back now" and I said yes, it's not difficult to make a coffee and you're visibly upset so I will take my business elsewhere. This is the first poor experience I've had at Starbucks and I go to various locations at least twice a week and up to four times a week. I can say without a doubt that I will not be returning to this location and I hope that upper management is able to see this review and speak to Mr. Nick about his attitude. It's just coffee, no need to be such a prick.

We stumbled upon this cafe and oh my goodness what a gem!!!…read more My husband and I are no strangers to Greenville but we usually stay closer to downtown proper. This was barely outside of where we go, maybe 2-3 miles, but the sandwich menu online looked solid so we decided to give it a shot. This place has a large footprint with the cafe, grocery store, coffee shop, patio benches, and a small playground. Parking is...unique and you just kind of find a spot that makes sense. The line to order sandwiches was long but it actually moves super fast because they have like 6 registers taking orders. We ordered the Gouda Gobbler and the Turkey Pesto sandwiches and both were absolutely incredible. The bread honestly makes it and we even saw people walking around just eating loaves of this bread out of a bag. After lunch, we walked around inside the store and it was so cute. There's plenty of local items and fresh produce. We will definitely be back and have found a new hot spot!

Met up with an old student to do a check in and ordered a vegan tempeh sandwich. Bread really wholesome but inside the sandwich everything was an accessory to salt. Salt was the main player in that sandwich..Soooooo much salt, I needed three cups of water in the next 15 minutes. I mean, really?! Not impressed!

So I'm thinking ok this place has to be good. It took about 20-25 mins to get to the register and order. I ordered the sweet corn shaken espresso with almond milk and a cinnamon roll so I could make sure to show support. It took 22 mins to get the drink which o tried to be understanding because it was busy and there was really only one person making drinks. Most efficient way? Maybe not but he was steadily working. I watched probably 20 drinks come up almost spilling over they were so full and delicious looking. Finally mine comes up and 1/4 of the cup is empty. Weather ice or almond milk at least fill the cup like the rest of the drinks. So whatever 45 mins I'm not asking for a remake or anything it's already hot inside and just standing there I'm sweating. I get in the car and think well they short changed the drink at least I got this thick cinnamon roll to make up for it. Well jokes on me again. The roll was very dense and dry. While it may have been made that morning it was dry as if it was a day or two old. I figured maybe it was just the outside that was dry but it was the same even in the center. The centers are always supposed to be the best part. Sadly I didn't get the experience everyone else seems to get. Over all pretty disappointing experience that I wish would have been better to give a better review for a local shop.

They have multiple doors to enter which was confusing, so I had to double back to the counter where you actually had to order drinks. The interiors are spacious. inviting, and modern, as evidenced by the nearly 30 people I saw camped out at tables working away at their laptops or holding video conferences. They also have a nice outdoor patio space as well. I went with an order of a half sweet iced mocha latte. There's an additional charge for any added flavoring, so the drink set me back over $7 (before any tip). While I don't mind paying a bit extra for a great drink, I felt it was very average in taste and probably would have received better from a chain coffee shop. Service from the staff was friendly. I felt this is one of those more modern workspace coffee shops that's lost in a bit of an identity crisis with some market and prepared food items. Perhaps I'm just not their target clientele given they seem to have a loyal following, but felt Chestnut Coffee House was a pretty average and slightly overpriced drink experience for me.

North St. based on the 4.5 Yelp rating. What's going on here? Are these reviews being artificially boosted? I genuinely had to look at my phone to make sure I'd come to the right place based on expectations vs. reality. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and chicken. The chicken was a had an odd mushy/spongy texture -- a couple of tenders unceremoniously dropped on the plate and nothing like in any of the marketing photos -- and the gravy was not very flavorful at all. Someone else in my party got the chicken and waffles -- their chicken was better than mine, but still completely unimpressive. I also have to say, unfortunately, that the staff is not on their game. We had communication problems with the person taking our order, and the self-bussing area was overflowing with dirty forks and plates. This is a corporate slop establishment, and Greenville has at least a dozen breakfast spots, especially locally-owned ones, that are miles better than this. I regret not looking a bit harder for a better local spot.
