Prior to returning home, we wanted to try this unique establishment near our hotel. Pretty cool place with a fitting name. It's literally underground! Super cool! As you descend the stairs from the sidewalk, you pass under the sign that's visible from the street. Upon entering you're facing a large bar area with a pastry display cabinet and of course the machines that create liquid magic. They serve a variety of meals and baked goods to accompany your beverage of choice. We ordered a vanilla latte, iced red eye, two egg breakfast with hash browns and toast, and a western omelet with hash browns and toast. After a short wait we received our coffees. Then our food was delivered. I have to say, the omelet was great. Stuffed with spicy sausage and vegetables! The hash browns were outstanding. Perfect for that style. Slightly crunchy, golden brown, and seasoned. Wife enjoyed her breakfast as much as I did mine. The inside is quite large. The front seating area is big, but the back room area is huge. There are so many seating options to include outside seating. We really enjoyed this coffee shop/cafe. The environment was great, the esthetics, the employees, the food, and location was fantastic. This bustling underground coffee shop was quite enjoyable. It was very busy when I arrived but waited no longer than 10min to order my coffee and apple pancakes (pictured). The service was friendly and fast. My food arrived within 5min or less. The restaurant can handle parties from 1-8. Behind the main order counter and full bar, you'll find additional seating that is a little quieter since it is separated from the main ordering area. The restaurant was clean. They do ask that used items be returned to the bus stations and not left at the tables. I hope to return and enjoy more of their extensive menu both for food and coffee options. read more

Very adorable place, I love the design and vibes. Unfortunately the coffee was extremely mid, and I got tiramisu which was pretty horrible . The cheesecake was good tho, so perhaps the rest of the menu is better. I would definitely come back with friends just for the hangout space tho. read more

The staff was super friendly, which I always appreciate. The entrance, though, is a bit awkward -- with everyone entering and exiting through the same door, it gets tight, especially when there's a line (which there was). The coffee was solid, and the apple infused pancakes were decent, though I honestly expected more flavor to it. The seating felt a little scattered -- like someone said, "Here's a bunch of chairs, figure it out." Nothing fancy, but functional, but not really. I wouldn't call it a must-visit, but I'm glad I checked it out. I'd consider coming back just to try some of the more unique coffee drinks on the menu. The decor looks like it might have been an Indian or Oriental restaurant at one time. The decor is a little dated but there are lots of nooks and crannies to settle in to and pull out your computer or visit with friends.There are soft benches, sofas, and chairs, along with regular tables and chairs. A minimum purchase of $5/per person will give you two hours of free Wi-Fi. We came just for a cup of coffee, but the menu is quite extensive. They serve breakfast all day. They also serve lunch and have a large selection of hot and cold drinks, along with wines and cocktails. There is quite a selection of desserts. The vibe is funky and unique. There is a connected entrance with a sign to the Theater/box office. Not sure what that's about. Overall, the coffee was just mediocre but it was fun to explore and see a part of downtown Greenville. read more

We waited in line just before 11 am on Saturday, 3/22/25. The line was long and moved slowly, but it only took 5 minutes to get our drinks once we ordered. Cool place, low ceilings, tables, couches, and chairs for seating. It was packed. I got an Iced Turtle Mocha ($5), which was supposed to be chocolate and caramel. It didn't taste like either of those things. My husband got a Vanilla Iced Coffee and it also didn't taste like vanilla. We both threw ours out after drinking about half. Ordered the tuna salad melt sandwich and the turkey apple sandwich with fries. The sandwiches are cut in half so was able to try one of each as a variety plate with my guest. The fries are seasoned to perfection. The service experience is amazing there's preparation is customized for each order so there's a short wait. The ambiance is nice and there's few options for seating like chairs, booths, sofas, etc. Do like that there are a variety of bottled beverages available as well for quick orders. It is such a cool idea to have a coffee bar with a speakeasy vibe. The service was super fast, even though there was a long line, we got the farmhouse quiche, and the Greek quiche, which were both great. The coffee was pretty good, but honestly didn't blow me away. They ask for a tip, then you bus your own table, bring your food to your table yourself and then asked to wipe it down yourself. Again, if you want a good coffee, here you go. Stand in line to order and your order is called to pick up at another. Various types of chairs and tables gives it a homey feel.
