7 Brew was our first stop of the day after beginning this morning's journey. We arrived just after 7am, before daylight and in the cold, but the baristas were pleasant. Even more so than usual, since my ten foot tall Sprinter van does not fit under the overhang. I had to park and walk up. They seemed a little surprised by a walk up guest, but once that moment passed, the barista grabbed an iPad, took my order, and processed payment. Two minutes later, I was handed two hot coffees and we were back on the road. Mrs. K. absolutely loves their Blondie, and I enjoyed a nice drip with a splash of cream. 7 Brew does not overroast their coffee like some other big chains, so the flavor was smooth and pleasant as we drove north on I-85 toward Charlotte. I enjoy visiting this 7Brew. I love their creative coffees and their eggnog option in the fall is to die for. The baristas are always so happy and friendly. My only complaints are the drive through and music. The line is always so long, occasionally out of the parking lot (but I guess they can't help this). The location makes it tricky since that road leads to other businesses. They also blast music, and the songs aren't always family friendly. I haven't enjoyed some of the music choices when I have to put my window down to talk to order, pay, or receive my drink. As a mom, and just a person, I'd appreciate if they filtered their music. Hearing popular pop songs that reference dating, sex (albeit something kids might not pick up on), it's just distasteful and annoying. And it's SO loud and very distracting. Forget driving through with a sleeping baby. All the employees are teenagers, so I get that it's someone's playlist, but please, filter through. I much prefer the Wade Hampton location. read more

First time here today and really loved it. After looking at the menu I really wanted to try the Blondie. So when I ordered I asked if I could get the sugar free version, being a type II diabetic. Yes, that was an option so that's what I got. OMG!!!! If this is the sugar free version, then the original has to be off the chain!!!! The SF version is DELICIOUS!!!!! I can already tell I'll be frequenting this establishment, and since I just work right down Woodruff Road, it won't be too hard to miss. Although traffic on Woodruff Road can be nightmare-ish at times, I'd drive all the way from Woodruff for this coffee. Yep, it's that good. How many times have I passed this little building with the line of people waiting to get their coffee cravings saited? Today I stopped, I got in the line and before I could pull up the menu I was greeted with a smile and loads of recommendations. They have a lot of drink selections and about 90% of their drinks selections have sugar free options which beats the pants off of Starbucks that just has sugar-free vanilla. (Green mermaid. What is up with you?) You guys know I do (try realllly hard) keto and I don't like a lot of sugar, as I'm probably secretly dreaming of a doughnut, but this place was fantastic. Ordered white chocolate mocha and house brew HOT (kind of a joke I had to specify but whatever...) coffee with 1 cream and 1 sugar. Don't think a more simple order can be made. The girl typed it in on the iPad - paid - no problem. Kid at the coffee shack proceeds to give me an iced coffee - black. I told him "No - I ordered hot." He says OK. I then had to yell "1 cream 1 sugar". He looks confused. Finally get the coffee. Take a sip. Black. Normally not a big deal but since this is a drive through only place the order needs to be right. I saw the line was short and popped in to finally try this place. The first "problem" is that the music outside is so loud that you can't hear the person you are taking to; like nightclub loud. My husband had the snickers and I had the German chocolate drink. Both tasted like chocolate milk. His drink had a tad bit of the hazelnut, but otherwise our tasted about the same. I'll probably never return because there are much better places around town and I'm hate yelling over music to place an order. But there are a few instances lately in which I'm waiting several minutes behind the car in front of me not because they're waiting on coffee, but because they're chatting with the employee. I understand the employees are encouraged to be friendly to customers, but those of us waiting for our coffee because of in-depth conversation in front of us doesn't exactly encourage patronage. A simple "Have a nice day," or "I'll call you later" goes a long way in moving the line along. read more

Absolutely adore 7 Brew Coffee. I have come to this location with my boyfriend dozens of times and the flavor is consistently wonderful and the service is stellar. I ordered two Caramel Blonde Sugar Free with Cold Foam ! I was given an incorrect ice coffee containing an Overload of Chocolate ! Upon calling it out , the guy making coffee got a new cup and poured the old coffee with chocolate into a new cup and placed lots of Caramel. At the end it wasn't sugar free, I had to rush to an appointment therefore I had no time to ask for a remake . I'm upset after spending over $14 on coffee to then throw it away. About a month ago I was leaving the Wal-Mart on Woodruff rd and I noticed a new building. That new building was 7 Brew Coffee. I am a coffee fanatic so I made a reminder to check this place out in about a month or so. They actually ended up opening a lot sooner than that. I knew that on my next day off that I needed to go check this place out. I did some research online and noticed that this was the first location outside of AR & MO, which was pretty cool. I also read a few reviews on their coffee and it sounded great. So I was pretty excited. It was their first week of opening and a Saturday. They were playing loud music and it was a really fun atmosphere. The first thing I noticed though, was that none of the employees (except one person inside the coffee shop) was wearing a mask. It's not something I'm super upset over but I'm very pro mask so it really stuck out at me. But it's totally ok for the most part because the two employees that took our order and gave us our coffee were super nice. So that was really great. Gotta love good customer service. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk and lavender syrup. It was delicious! I loved that you could really taste the coffee and that it wasn't overly milky or overly sweet. It was a great iced latte. I'm definitely planning on going back again, especially since they gave me a scratch off card. Overall, I had a great experience there and I highly recommend it. read more

Freaky fast service! So I was in my way back home in the peach state and wanted to support a local coffee shop. Found this place via Google Maps. A little off 85, but whatever. My husband and I went here because we've seen so much traffic. We figured it must be good, and it really was! I had the hot chai tea which had wonderful flavor, just the right temperature, and was a delightful treat. My husband ordered the coffee mocha which he described as creamy and absolutely delicious. No frills situation with fabulous coffee! It's a drive through with friendly staff and great coffee options. Boyfriend likes the Blondie and I usually go for the Caramel Mocha. The people working have always been friendly, chatty, and seem to be in a good mood. They also have a punch card for a free drink when you fill up the card. It's on Woodruff (ugh, right?) but it's totally worth the trip for that delicious beverage. The flavor is good and not at all bitter or unbalanced. Highly recommend! What a glorious little coffee place! We saw a post online about them opening and wanted to try something new. We pulled up and immediately noticed all of the workers they have, and they all had smiles and were enjoying themselves. Hmmm people living their jobs, weird. So they have their 7 main flavors which I think anyone can find something they like. You can get hot or cold, we decided to go with iced. I had the iced snickers and added the extra shots for a dollar. I LOVED this drink, it was a perfect combo. My wife got an iced chai and added a couple shots of espresso and really enjoyed her drink as well. We are going back to try more of the menu because this is an amazing little place filled with people who love their job.
