Ashley in the drive thru is such a delight, this is mostly just for her because she's so friendly and happy and you can tell it's not fake because somehow it doesn't bother me and my curmudgeon butt :) I also really appreciate how twice this store has allowed me to exchange my drink when the barista 'let my shot die' (as I understand it, I've never made an espresso in my life) because I have certain genes that make me oversensitive to how coffee and espresso is prepared (and hence why I keep coming back to Starbucks when corporate greed is evil and NOT how I prefer to spend my money). the worker in the drive thru asked me if i wanted to use my points and i specifically said NO to both options of taking away 200 points for a free drink or 2 dollars off and i decline saying i wanted to keep my points that it was okay and she said okay so you wanna keep ur 200 and i said yes, realizing that my total was $40 and it was randomly $30 when i paid. i seriously don't appreciate the worker taking my points knowing i said no and the people in my car heard clearly that i said No. read more

So, I go in and order a three-pump iced mocha without whip cream. They give me a caramel macchiato, because I think they know that is what I usually get. I give them it back, they dump it and make a 6-pump mocha with whip cream. They shave the whip cream off, but it is still full of syrup. I give it back, it is dumped and the server finally made what I ordered, but also got on my case because I was wrong somehow? They are usually pretty cool there. I'm not sure what happened. What a pleasant experience this morning. I was driving into Chico from out of town and chose a Starbucks location to order and pick up my drink. After I ordered it, I put the directions in but for some reason my phone dropped the directions. I thought I had seen it was on Skyway, so I googled the Starbucks near there and drove to that location. When I got there, I asked the barista at the front if they had an order for Mary and she was the nicest young lady. She was blonde or light brown hair, bubbly personality, and looked it right up and told me yes. The drink came out quickly and because I had told her my name when I asked her the question, she told me to have a nice day Mary. I haven't seen somebody so friendly at a Starbucks in a long time. We were shopping for a Christmas tree and my Wife, our son and I decided to get coffee and hot chocolate. We stop in, they can't make a large mocha as they are out of mocha mix. They can't make hot chocolate because they are out of that mix. The have a large snowman cookie on the menu board but... yeah they're out of those and the chocolate chip cookies. The guy behind the counter doesn't remember these things are out of stock until after I pay for everything. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Waited in line for a half hour. By the time we got to the windows our drinks were melted and the whip was flat. We got ultra caramel fraps, the entire bottom was liquid and not longer the whip it usually would be. When telling the drive thru lady about this, her idea was to just throw some whip on top and call it good. I had to remake mine as I feel paying over $5 for one drink is a lot and should be done the proper way. If you can't get the drinks out fast enough maybe don't make them so soon as they just sit there. The better drink is the one I had remade. The flat one is what we originally got handed. Psshhh. This Is my favorite starbucks in town. They are always friendly, I've never gotten the wrong order and they are efficient. Reading through reviews I'm shocked people are complaining about wait time. This is the worst Starbucks in town the drive-through is incredibly slow but that's not even really my issue with it. They consistently mess up my orders. I've been given frozen breakfast sandwiches uncut or horribly cut bagels and incorrect drinks. I hardly ever go to this one anymore because of it's poor quality but decided to today because it's the most convenient one to my house and I was running behind. Today I was again reminded why I hate this Starbucks. I ordered a salted caramel hot chocolate end it was read back to me as a salted caramel mocha. I then said no it's a salted caramel hot chocolate which was correctly read back to me.
