It was SO hot this week so I was excited to find a tea spot to grab a drink! This location was cute and had spots for photos. There was an air hockey table and foosball table to use. I liked that you order off a tablet because it's easier and it allows you to customize the drink. However, while it let me adjust the sweetness of my drink, this location only offers one size and offers no adjustment option for the ice. I got a green thai tea and checked out their branded tumblers for sale while I waited. I was in a bit of a rush so I left as soon as I got my drink. It was a little mild on flavor but fine overall, I give it 3/5 for taste. The real disappointment for me was that for about $8 I only got about 4 or 5 drinks. The cup was mostly ice and I felt a little ripped off. I had to stop somewhere else a little later for another drink. If you want a place to hang out or take photos, you might like this spot but I go to tea shops for the tea, so I would probably not come here again. read more

I thought it was cool they had a foozeball table inside. They had food as well but I wasn't hungry. The drinks were solid and good. BUT the food is a different story. The banh mi we got were good in the center with the meats/veggies but the bread was super dried. It was hard to bite into it without it hurting/poking into the mouth. The bread was at least 2 days old sitting cause it was cracked and powdery. That ruined the sandwich cause the bread was the best part of it. I'm sure we just got a bad batch. Wrong day to order. I'm sure it's still good with the right fresh bread. read more

Went in here for the first time today and was so pleased with my experience! Very helpful employee behind the counter thoroughly explained how to order through the iPad and the different drink and food options. I ordered the passion fruit green tea and added brown sugar boba with 30% sugar (my go-to bubble tea order) and the signature sandwich with lemongrass pork. Tea came out quickly and was delicious - not too sweet and very fruity. The banh mi is a great amount of good for the price and delicious - made perfectly! Had high hopes for this location, but one of the drinks has fallen short and makes me question the quality of the rest of the products. I have tried their signature tea since last week. The first 2 days the fruit that comes inside of the tea was fresh. From Thursday last week to today, seems like the fruit placed inside is from last week not fresh. The apples in my tea are super brown and have lost their crunch to them that the initial fresh tea had. You can't see them until you pour the tea out or drink it all. Then there are so many apple seeds in the drink that you crunch on those when you chew on the boba. Not a good feeling . The orange slices were decent. Overall, this tea isn't something pleasing when it's old tea and old fruit inside of it. Not sure if I will be going back. Responding to the owners message. Appreciate your response. Couple of things, not misleading information on my behalf. As a consumer, when you go onto your website and also in store, there is no description under that tea that lists "edible passion fruit seeds." I would suggest more description on your teas and the ingredients. That is important to list what seeds one can eat. My first tea had no seeds at all, so I didn't even know this was a part of the tea. As for the apples, one can definitely tell the difference between a fresh apple slice with minimal absorption and browning. Fresh cut apples, can have the browning due to the oxidation, but they don't lose the crispy bite. The apples in my tea today were all soft as if they had been left to stew in the tea for a few days. I know the difference because as I mentioned earlier, my tea last week varied vastly with one from today. With that said, I know your a new business and I'm still going to go back and check out other flavors. The customer service has been nothing short of great. My review was only directed at that specific tea and the non consistency I have experienced on the tea quality. read more

(1) Don't use random pieces of pork that are stirfried. if it cost more to use pork belly, make it an extra charge, I am positive that people would pay up to five dollars more for the sandwich if it was pork belly. (2) This is a college town, spice it up!! More jalapeño peppers, more spice= more flavor. Don't water down the product because you believe that people can't handle the heat. (3) The sandwich was cold. You don't need a griddle in the back to have warm meat. All you need is an Insta pot. It's not that complicated. Ambience is OK . Service is not really rate-able because it's self-ordering at a kiosk. Make the changes that need to be made, and I will gladly change my rating. Chico needs more authentic restaurants. I went the day after their grand opening. They were doing buy one, get one half off or buy two, get one free for their grand opening weekend! I ordered the rose black tea with brown sugar boba. The drink was not too sweet and the boba was chewy, but not bad. I'm not sure why the cashier didn't ask if I wanted to adjust my sweetness or ice levels, but asked everyone else who ordered. It ended up being fine because the girl who handed me my drink asked me to try it and let her know if she needed to adjust anything for me! I understand they're new and busy, but there was no signage for adjusting sweetness or ice which might be helpful in case they forget to ask someone. By far my favorite boba in Chico! I've tried about 14 or 15 of their drinks so far and I'd recommend any of them. Each one is very well thought out and very good quality. The staff is extremely friendly, get drinks out quickly, and are more than happy to answer any questions. It's also a really nice place to work, study, or just hang out and enjoy your drinks.
