There was no line, there was little wait, and everyone was kind and upbeat as usual. We let the people know that it was my wife's birthday and not only did they make the drink amazing, they dressed it up all nice as you can see in the photo. This was the first Dutch Bros Coffee that we went to during our winter getaway. They are normally a small drive through coffee shack. This location was a busy one as we arrived at about 5 pm with a line of cars. The line looked long but moved quickly. I'm not familiar with the Dutch Bros lingo, but, this location had one person outside taking orders and payment, while the broistas inside where making the coffee. We enjoyed their hazelnut truffle mocha. The employees were really nice and helpful. It's a good place. I'm glad the one in Southern California is so far away, otherwise, I'd be there everyday. read more

Amazing service!! The people working here are the bomb! We walked over from the hotel to check out this hop'n little spot. We were not sitting looking at the menu on our phone for even a minute before Sebastian came over with a tablet to take our order. I had Puh-lent-y of questions because I have never been to a Dutch Bros before. Sebastian was SO helpful, patient, kind and fun!! Friendliest service ever! My friend was shocked to hear I had never heard of this popular drive through coffee shop. So, when I found myself in Chico I had to stop by. I was promptly greeted by a friendly staff member. When she found out it was my first visit ever she hooked me up with a free large drink!!! Doggone it. I've seen more and more Dutch Bros around and figured to give it a shot. I walked over to this one and stood at the walk up window for 3 minutes being ignored. There were about 5 people inside and two females less than 2 feet away from me doing nothing but giggling about last night. My wife said "excuse me, could we get two cups of coffee?" The girl, DOING NOTHING, said we would have to order from the kids taking orders from the cars driving up. Well, it just seemed pretty rude as we were standing at the walk up window but somehow needed to flag down the kids busting hump taking orders from the drive-through. So unfortunately I walked away and got Starbucks where they took my order with a smile. Apparently, DBC is a big deal. On our way home from doing some relief work in Paradise, one of my car mates insisted on stopping by for a cup of coffee. When we pulled up to the drive-up, there were two other cars ahead of us in line which moved fast because there is a person outside of the little building who takes your order. When you get to the window to pick-up, you could smell the coffee and it smelled so good. As it turns out, the regular coffee tasted as good as it smelled. The small unassuming drive thru flys just under the radar. The set up gives me a shaved ice stand vibe. The menu is crazy big, and offers coffee drinks, smoothie, and energy drink flavor combos. Our group asked for many substitutes and flavor combos- never did we hear "No, we can't do that." The scary part , and worth a warning, is that the sugar content of drinks here is out of this world. First trip: I ordered a banana split blended "Frost" It was not too sweet , mellow with coffee flavors, and perfect taste ratio. Second trip: I couldn't even finish half of the drink before getting a upset tummy from the sugar! The flavor - uh yeah, so good! I will be back , and maybe split 4 ways. On my last visit, I didn't know what I wanted and the young lady taking orders outside basically went through the whole menu with me. I ended up with a dairy free peach smoothie. It was fantastic. First of all I would like to say that I absolutely love Dutch Bros. I'm from Grants Pass, where Dutch bros all started. I moved to Chico about a month ago for my job and needed to find the Closest Dutch bros. Unfortunately, I am forced to go to the Dutch bros on Sky/Park for convenience. This is absolutely the worst Dutch bros I have ever been to. I get coffee at least five times a week and I have never ever had a good experience at this Dutch bros. The staff is either rude or yelling in my face asking how my day is going. I understand that is your job to be friendly and greet people but I don't need you yelling in my face and I also don't need you pretending like you are interested in my day, stop being fake and start being genuine. How the girls dress is by no means appropriate. I get that it's hot and I don't expect you to wear pants and a long sleeve. Just stop wearing spandex shorts that ride up your ass and look like underwear. Ladies be appropriate and professional. My drink has never ever been made right leaving me unsatisfied and ruining my day before work. I'm a fan. As someone who's not a big coffee drinker, they have some tasty coffee. I stopped at the drive through for some caffeine before work. There was a bit of a line forming so someone came out to take my order at my car window on an ipad. The line wasn't too ridiculous but I've driven by a little later in the day and there are cars going outside of the parking lot. I wonder if they take walk-ups to the store also. When I finally pulled up to store window, I handed them my credit card (yay they take CC) and paid. They handed me a stamp card also. I wish I was offered a receipt though. I was in too much of a rush to ask for one also. Drink came out quickly. I tried a hot Annihilator. So good - chocolately and mac nut deliciousness. It was like liquid gold, this stuff. I wish there was one closer to me. I think I could also visit their locations in Sac too. (Then again, I can't say I'm a huge coffee connoisseur.) I loved the lids. Somehow they really enhanced my drinking experience :-) I can only give 3 stars though because, although the service was friendly, I had to wait in the drive-through line for about 15 minutes, even though there were only 2 cars ahead of me.
