Went to this starbucks location since my regular one was closed. I've always tried avoiding coming to this location since it's in a very busy street and in a small shopping center. Decided to bite the bullet and stop by. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the parking lot was not busy at all, plenty of parking spots to choose from. There was no no line when I walked in. As soon as I got to the counter, I ordered my coffee and waited, maybe no more than 5 minutes, and I was on my way to work. This location is on the smaller side. There are a few tables you can sit at and lounge, but if it gets busy, I can see this location being pretty cramped. Overall, I would definitely start coming to this location. It was not as busy and complicated as I thought it would be and def. Closer to my job. Everyone was super friendly and nice and had no hassle at all.

Just your neighborhood starbucks here! Consistent, friendly and on your way to work... or at least for me! It's rare for me to pop in without having my order already completed on the app and waiting upon my arrival. It's never been wrong and someone working always greets, helps me find my order or tells me to have a good day, and never without a smile. My order has never been wrong and is always a pleasant start to my day! Like I said I don't spend much time inside ordering or sitting, but I do like to enjoy their cute little patio during the warmer months to car and people watch at that busy little intersection. It's not the quietest option if you're looking to do some studying or reading, well unless you have your noise canceling headphones. I'd say if it's in route to where you're going, give it a try and hopefully it won't disappoint for you, as it never does for me!

Tiny Starbucks on a busy intersection. Not much for seating inside, but folks are still here to hangout with their laptops, drink coffee and do job interviews. It's the same as any other *$ with coolers of drinks and pastries. Note that they do NOT have a drivethrough.

This is a smaller location and the majority of their parking is gone due to construction. I overheard staff saying they struggle to find parking. 1st time I had my drink called out before my name. She didnt want to murder it lol. She never made my "lightly sweet chai latte with almond milk" before. She asked her co worker. It tastes different, a little watery. Had no issues using my app to order and pay and go. I'm sure someone was waiting for my parking space.

Simply put this Starbucks needs to retrain their baristas! I've had nothing but horribly made drinks from this place. I mean, how can you mess up a simple Carmel iced coffee??? The bathrooms are not the cleanest and the baristas don't really seem all that interested in being at work. Steer clear of this Starbucks!

Hey the coffee is great! If your going to be in and out. If you plan on hanging out, the glare is terrible. You will be blinded by the sun. The need blinds for sure.

I visited this Starbucks just to have somewhere to use my laptop and do some work for a little while. Parking is a bit of a pain. I usually order cappuccino's but on a hot summer day, I really wanted my favorite - a fizzed strawberry acai refresher. Sadly, the fizz machine was down. Instead, I opted for a strawberry green tea infusion. Never had it before. After one taste, I didn't like it. I'm used to sweet drinks. It literally just sat there with condensation growing on the cup from the ice melting. The associate working at the time saw I hadn't been drinking it and asked if I liked it. I told her no, and she offered to re-make it for me and make it sweeter. I thought that was so helpful and I really appreciated her doing that for me. While I still won't order this drink again, after she re-made it, it was definitely better. I do prefer it sweeter.

Review for Amélie's French Bakery & Café…read more As a transplant from the West Coast--specifically San Francisco, where high-quality bakeries and true French pâtisseries are plentiful--I was genuinely excited to try Amélie's after moving to Charlotte. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, and after giving it more than one chance, it's simply not a place I plan to return to. The concept feels more like a themed destination than a serious bakery. The interior is whimsical and eye-catching, with decorative elements like a faux Eiffel Tower, which clearly appeals to visitors looking for a fun atmosphere. However, if you've spent time in authentic French cafés or bistros, you know the real charm is understated elegance--wood, mirrors, tile, and craftsmanship. This felt more theatrical than authentic. Where it fell short for me was the food. For a place calling itself a French bakery and pâtisserie, the absence of classic laminated pastries was surprising. I was expecting staples like Napoleons, kouign-amann, or beautifully executed croissants. What I found instead were pastries that looked average and lacked the refinement and technique you'd expect from a true pâtisserie. On my visits, I tried: * A leek soup that was supposed to be cream-based but tasted thin and under-seasoned--more like warm vegetable water than a properly developed soup. * A baguette sandwich with fig, Brie, and apple that sounded promising but was poorly executed. The bread was overly hard, and the balance of ingredients felt off, making the sandwich less enjoyable than expected. I gave Amélie's two chances, hoping the second visit would change my impression. It didn't. To be fair, the café clearly has a loyal following and works well as a social or casual gathering spot. But if you're specifically looking for high-quality French pastries or refined bakery craftsmanship, there are stronger options in the Charlotte area. Personally, I'd recommend: * Renaissance Patisserie for more traditional European-style pastries * Paris Baguette at Rea Farms for consistency and better execution * Or trusted local favorites closer to home Bottom line: Fun atmosphere, but the food didn't meet expectations for a French bakery. After multiple visits, it's a pass for me.

My only downside was the bottom of the drink tasted gritty and had a white residue left at the bottom. Also, I initially wanted the drink with light ice and this was my first encounter at a shop that charges extra for light ice (45 cents). Not a huge deal and I understand that companies incur more costs for light ice or no ice. Maybe I could justify the additional charge for getting the drink without ice, but I still wanted ice---just not a lot of it. I just would've like to have been told about it or seen some signage about the additional charge since the toppings and other add ons are listed out. I could've missed where it was listed out, but I don't think I saw anything written out. Nonetheless, after a few healthy gulps, I was sad that the drink was gone. I would come back to try other items.
