I'm happy this Starbucks is finally on normal hours again! Since this is the closest drive thru location I continue to come here but I promise you my drink (white mocha) NEVER taste the same ugh! Some days great some days terrible and most days just ok. This is regardless of short or long line. Also I understand there is a national shortage on different things but for the price we pay for a Starbucks drink, if you don't have any sleeves available but I ordered a hot drink I expect to receive my drink double cupped or at the least a napkin since it is a hot drink. I can still appreciate this Starbucks for what it is - a smaller location with the full service of goodies that Starbucks offers. Cooler of pastries and sandwiches and drinks plus the baristas are making your caffeine-infused beverages. This location does have a drive through but the corners are tight and the space is limited. It is on a very busy stretch of one of the main arteries into Charlotte so expect busy traffic. Inside the store (they do have a few tables and seats outside in the shade), I found it to be quite noisy with the espresso machines and the staff making up orders. So this is just your run off the mill Starbucks as far as I could tell. This was my first Starbucks stop since starting keto and let's just say I definitely confused the barista. If you want a low carb chai tea latte, you can order: Short Chai Tea Latte using 2 Chai brewed tea bags, 2 shots heavy whipping cream, and 2 pumps sugar-free cinnamon dolce. 206 calories, 4g net carbs, 1g protein, 22g fat. If you want it to be an iced chai, apparently it needs to be a tall, not a short. This Starbucks also doesn't do pumps if heavy whipping cream, but another barista said that was just a normal pour. They were very accommodating and my barista even double checked after I got my order to make sure they got it right. I definitely appreciated them accommodating such a custom order! read more

I don't understand how or why this location ALWAYS runs out of supplies especially with their most popular items. It's very inconvenient to your valued participants from customers such as myself. I consistently use my mobile app to make all my Starbucks orders and have done so for YEARS! Using the app is very convenient for me, I order from home and by the time I leave and drive my drink is ready. But that certainly hasn't been the case and instead of notifying me via the app of what items they are out of for this location. I have to wait until I arrive to the location, get out of my car to run in and grab yet again an empty cup. Then the barista tell me oh we're out of this. I'm sure you can only imagine the look on my face as it would be in yours, a look of frustration. The past two purchases at this location I have went to purchase my medicine ball and they have been out of something that's required for the tea. During this time of the year and for such a popular drink you would think this would be their well stocked items. Starbucks Whitehall you have to do better with your updates in your mobile app. This is ridiculous! I had no time to wait in the long line for my refund, so I'll have to contact customer service once again for my money back. read more

This is our neighborhood Starbucks and we love it. My daughter and I both walked here after finding out my mother/her grandmother passed away, to get some fresh air and Starbucks always makes my daughter feel better. My daughter was so upset and emotional while trying to place her order and the store manager, Natalie, and the rest of the team noticed. Natalie immediately responded by giving her a cake pop with a handwritten message "Storms don't last always but love does." She came around and gave her a big hug and continued to make her frappuccino. This warmed my daughter and I heart and now my daughter wants to visit the team each and every day. This is a new journey for us and I'm grateful now that my daughter finds comfort going to Starbucks because of such a small but huge gesture from Natalie and her team. I went to Starbucks today with my daughter and we did the drive-through. Upon arrival there were probably 5 to 6 cars ahead of us and the wait was considerably long. I understand that people are pulling up to the menu studying it as if it is the first time they have been there and then placing long and complicated orders but this process seems to be taking longer and longer in the drive-through these days. This delays the process for everyone in line and the corral that they have your car in begins to feel like a prison while you wait. I saw the people behind me pull up, change their minds and then back out of the very curvy drive through lane. Once we got to the window the clerk appeared to be talking to someone else, but it is highly possible she was speaking to us as well. It was all unclear. Convenient and friendly!! I was craving a coffee with this cold rainy weather and decided to stop by my nearby Starbucks. I opted for the seasonal Caramel Brûlée Latte in a grande size. Drive thru was a breeze. Just super narrow. Be cautious when going through the drive thru as other cars passing are also trying to join the drive thru lane. Not the best parking area either but hey, just be a cautious driver. My latte wasn't too hot. I was able to drink it after a couple of minutes. It even had a green stopper in it. I say that cause not all places have given me the green stopper. Customer service was A1. I don't know if these people are trained properly, but it is by far consistently the worst Starbucks I've been to. Unfortunately it is the only drive-thru near my house, so I go there often. I get the nitro cold brew with salted caramel foam. 9 times out of 10 the "foam" disappears in 5 minutes and it's not sweet at all. At least once a week they are out of cold brew. However, it's the location that bf hits up in the mornings during work. From the quick ordering process, to the fun guys at the window, they made it fun. I have made my last visit to the Whitehall location. They are consistently rude. I'd rather just make the extra drive. On one occasion my daughter wanted to say her order (as kids do) and of course I always repeat it but before I could the person rudely and in the nastiest voice says "Only the driver needs to be speaking!" I honestly didn't think much of it. Came back a few weeks later. I place my order and then I say just a second while we decide on the second drink. After about 45 seconds the girl snaps "do you know what you want or what? We are CLOSING!" How the heck am I supposed to know you close at 6 pm? And in any service I restaurant I've worked in, you don't rush the final customer. You close once they've left. Your people need a lesson on customer service and just basic decency. It's ridiculous. NONE of that was warranted. We WILL not be back, no matter how inconvenient, I'll drive 5 extra miles if needed. I'm terribly disappointed and I hope others will follow suit. read more

I don't visit Starbucks often. But I heard they'll give you dog treats---certain locations anyways! I was running a few errands with my fur Friend! Of course it's About 100 Degrees outside!!! Ugh!!! I came to the drive thur---no line around Noon. I ordered a Tall--Vanilla bean frappuccino and a ice water. At the window I asked if they had dog treats. The young lady offered a Pupuccino!!! Pupuccino!!! What!??? Lucky day for my puppy! This is basically a cup of whipped cream.....he loved it!!! Such a spoiled dog!!! I let him wash it down with ice water. I wonder what their treats are made of? For some reason my dog hates peanut butter---I hope the other locations offer puppuccinos and treats. Best Coffee, and in a chain Franchise?!?! I've been to a couple of different Starbucks locations in my past, both in Charlotte ans Rock Hill. But this is by far my favorite location. It does get busy at times, but what Starbucks doesn't?! The staff here is really friendly and even remember the names of some of the regulars. I always come here and get a Flat White with Caramel for my girlfriend and I always mix it up. The Buckys is in a prime location on possibly on of the most commuted streets in the city with multiple entry points. And if that's not enough, for those who are into "Gaming" it's the same building as the Gamestop! A little off topic but they have the traditional Starbucks look and feel, they have the scanner that reads your phone for those who utilize the app, and by far the nicest staff I've come across at a Buckys franchise. I am always and definitely coming back for the customer experience and great morning pick-me-ups. read more

What is going on with Starbucks they use to be the Ritz of coffee now they are fairing more on the 7-11 side. Every time I come to this Starbucks they claim they can't hear me. It seems to be on there end because every other drive through I experience doesn't have this issue. There are to many untrained workers here. They don't listen to simple drink directions and to honest they are so busy playing around with each other they can't seem to execute orders effectively. I go to places at least 4 times before I take to Yelp. My logic is everyone can have a bad day, but 4 bad days. If that's the case just permanently stay home. i only give me star because i was able to get my drinks but i came at 5:45 on december 14, light tone skinny african american women with long pony tail and big feminine african american man. they were incredibly rude the entire time. i was ordering and they kept cutting me off saying "is that it" i had three drink orders and i was only on the first one, when i mentioned cold foam the woman came on the mic and said we definitely aren't doing that, and i asked if i needed to get another drink, and they said to continue with my order and they were both going back and forth complaining. i didn't even feel comfortable picking up the order in fear that they would do something with the drinks, but they were for my coworkers so i stayed and they forgot to add caramel drizzle to my drink and the man reached out and said "you didn't ask for that " and snatched the drink and handed it back to me. i am so disgusted with the service, i use to come here all the time and i will never stop again. i will drive further to a different starbucks before ever going to this location again. please fix this, im sure im not the only one who has dealt with this. i had to return to work with feeling like my day was ruined. read more

This is my go to starbucks.. i have been going here for about 8 years I hate going anywhere else cause they always make my order wrong. Everyone in here is so cheerful and sweet! I know almost all of the baristas' name... except the new manager's.... she seems like she is always in a bad mood. Every time she takes my order, I feel like i need to request someone else to take my order because she always seems agravated and grumpy.. She makes it so obvious that she doesn't like me..... because every time i come in she gives me an attitude. Also, whenever my order is ready, she doesnt even bother calling it out or handing it to me, she just tosses it on the counter right in front of me... One day i waited 30 mins... for a very berry hibiscus ... I waited patiently & when 30 mins went by, I asked one of the sweet baristas if I should come back to get my drink cause it was taking forever (just for juice and berries), she told me to wait a sec and asked the manager, the manager looked at me and claimed that she already made it and called it out... I sat right at the bar and watched them... and I'm 100% sure that she did not make my drink... The only bad experiences that I have had at the Starbucks always includes the manager.... sad :( read more

I just spent 20 minutes in the drive thru because they mixed up two of my drinks so they remade them both and one was correct but the other was still wrong. Ordered a white chocolate mocha Frappuccino and got a vanilla bean Frappuccino twice. So I told her there was no mocha in it and she made it a third time and added so much mocha to the point where I can't even drink this. I will be calling the store to speak to a manager when I get home. Twice I got a completely different drink and then the last one was not even drinkable.
