We have never had a bad meal here. The food and drinks are all cooked to order. The inside is nicely decorated, and there are plenty of seats. You order first, then you take your seat. They do bring the food out to you. The service has always been really great. We really have never had an issue. The really nice part is the Pho is gluten free so it's a pretty easy choice especially once the weather gets a little chilly. I love the Korean corn dogs. The Hot Cheetos option is my favorite. It is cooked to order. I always get a nice cheese pull. It's not spicy but does have good Cheetos flavor. We love a good Boba so we like to get the blended frozen mango one and it is top-tier! Everyone who works here is super friendly and they answer questions if you have them. when you pay, you can either pay with cash or card. I came here with 8 ladies for lunch. I got the crispy garlic chicken and rice and let me tell you, it was the best chicken I've ever had ! It really was crispy. The flavor was amazing. I also tried a K-Dog. It's like a corn dog, but different. I loved it ! They have amazing strawberry boba tea. I have tried their other flavors and went with mango this time, but I always go back to their strawberry. Lastly, I got their blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Yummy ! It was more like pudding with a cheesecake flavor. It had a clear plastic liner holding everything together and you can see the layers thru it. This was so delicious ! Actually found this place by accident and I'm so glad that I did. I remember a couple years ago seeing that it was a Boba place, but I never knew they had food. I was looking for pho in the area and decided to give them a try. When we came in, Crystal was so welcoming. She helped us with the menu and even suggested some things for us to try. I ended up ordering the chicken pho (pho ga) and my boyfriend got the weekend special (even though it was Monday) of seafood udon or banh canh. I also ordered a dragon parade fruit tea. For the three things our bill was $41.51. We decided to dine it. It's a nice space with plenty of seating and a cute grass wall backdrop. Our food didn't take long it was brought out to us on a tray. You could see the steam coming out of the pho. There was so much flavor to both dishes. I had the option to add stuff like Sriracha, hoisin, chili paste etc but didn't feel like i needed it. I did add some lime. My pho had plenty of noodles which is always something I find other places short you on. The fruit tea was absolutely delicious. I loved the taste and also enjoyed getting strawberries and other fruit through the straw with every sip. Crystal came to our table several times to check on us. She explained the business a little bit and said it was her idea to add food to the menu which I agreed was a good call because it's so good. Order: Thai tea, garlic bulgogi banh mi, coffee donut I'm not an adventurous boba tea drink so I stick to the basics; Thai tea or oolong. Since they didn't offer oolong I had to order my only other option. Lol. The bulgogi was served with a very small side of kimchi. Sandwich was very good and flavorful. Wouldn't call it a banh mi because it wasn't served with the traditional Vietnamese baguette, maybe a sandwich or panini would be more appropriate. First off i was a regular here, I see the owner and say hi all the time they are very sweet. However this experience today I can no longer go to sweet corner anymore. I order three drinks and they were given to me in a tray with bag tied. I out seat belt on and everything to secure it. However when i got to my destination I found that the drink was on the tray and had fell out. One drink was completely lost. The seal was not on tight and it all drip out. I asked to get another drink because i secured it as much as possible but the way they gave to me and the loose seal cause me to not have that one drink. They said they cant do anything about it and cant even give me a refund for one drink. I asked for a manager and they said none was there so I just gave up. Any other business if u genuinely spill food or drink would replace it. Its crazy i spent 7$ on and empty cup at this point. 7$ aint really that much but its the principle. What a pleasant surprise! We were just out running errands, and had no idea this place existed! We saw it as we drove towards one of our errands, and knew we had to look at the menu and see what was up. The menu convinced us to go give it a try. Don't be fooled by the name! While they have a lot of sweet desserts and teas, they also have a lot of savory food options! We have not found many places in Charlotte that have Korean corn dogs, so we knew we had to try them because we love them. We had previously only found them at one other place in Charlotte and were a little disappointed. However, these were delicious!!! We each had a different sparkling tea, both of which were very tasty. The lychee rose mochi donut was also very flavorful, light, and fluffy! The service was great. They were very helpful. It's pretty neat inside too! There's a great seating area, the decor is nice, and there's even some board games if you want to stay and enjoy yourselves for a while! Today, around 1:45 PM, I had a deeply disappointing experience at Sweet Corner. My family and I have been regular customers for a while, and I've never had an issue--until now. I placed a substantial order: five teas (four with boba), chicken pho, and six donuts. A young kid at the register took my order, but it quickly became clear that things were going to go wrong. While waiting, I noticed the young staff behind the register goofing off and chatting, showing little regard for customers. When my order finally came out, two of the teas were wrong--they had milk in them, which I did not request. When I pointed this out, a young lady who came out from the kitchen responded with a dismissive attitude, saying, "Boba tea has milk," and added, "You should've been more specific and ordered green tea with boba for next time." I was taken aback, not only by her lack of accountability but also by her attitude. Both the young kid and the young lady exchanged smirks and shrugged at each other at least three times, as if my issue was a joke. I calmly explained that this behavior was incredibly unprofessional, especially in front of a customer. The young lady rudely responded, "I didn't take your order." To make matters worse, my concerns were completely ignored. When the manager came to the front, she didn't even bother to speak to me directly. Instead, she pulled the young lady aside privately, leaving me standing there with no resolution. I understand there are policies about no returns, but I should never have been treated like that--especially in front of my children. As a business owner, I take immense pride in providing my clients with the best possible experience. I know my clients can go anywhere, but they choose to come to me because I offer top-quality service and always show my gratitude for their business. Unfortunately, that is something I did not receive from Sweet Corner. The dismissiveness, lack of professionalism, and unwillingness to correct a simple mistake made me feel undervalued as a customer. I was incredibly upset by how I was treated. I even explained my frustrations in Spanish to another employee I've seen before, hoping for some understanding. I let her know how hurtful it was to be treated so poorly, especially when I've always been a loyal customer. I told her that I didn't want to overreact, knowing that as a Black woman, I might be stereotyped for being upset. The employee I spoke to apologized for the way I was treated, and I greatly appreciated that. However, it was clear that the young staff at the front were either children or relatives of the owners. To make matters worse, when I got home, the boba tea tasted watered down, and the chicken pho was completely flavorless. The only thing that was even halfway decent was the donuts, but that couldn't make up for the poor service. I am extremely upset about how I was treated and will not be returning. The lack of accountability and professionalism is glaringly obvious, and if this is how they treat their customers, it's clear there's a bigger problem. I was so psyched to learn that this place has Mochi Donuts, so I ran over there as fast as I could! Well, let me get some negatives out of the way. They were out of some things featured in Yelp pics...like the Ube Waffle or the Thai Tapioca Soup (not sure the exact name), so that was a big bummer. I tried their Bulgogi Garlic Bahn Mi...and well, I was NOT a fan of this! Though very substantial in size, with a generous portion of Bulgogi, Eggs and more, the Garlic Bread was ridiculously greasy. It was sopping wet...which kinda grossed me out. I just took a few bites of this very expensive sandwich. WHY so greasy?!? If based on this sandwich, I would have rated this a 2. HOWEVER...now comes the good part. Their Mochi Donuts were AWESOME!! I think these donuts were actually better than the ones at Moji Teahouse, the only other place that offers Mochi Donuts in Charlotte for the moment (although big chains like Mochinuts may be coming soon). 1368 Mochi Donuts had a lighter taste, which I liked...and just as important, these donuts were MUCH nicer in presentation. Better formed Mochi rings and more decorative overall! SO Pretty!! Best of all, there were 15 flavors to choose from...with some of my favorites (Matcha, Black Sesame and Ube!) In most Mochi Donut shops, they usually offer only a choice of 6 flavors...though these flavors change weekly. Not sure if they change flavors here as well, but I loved having the option to choose from more flavors than most. In any case, I bought a half dozen box to bring home...and all I can say is that these donuts were a hit with me and my 2 boys! I loved that they offered a fun variety of sweets...from Mochi Donuts, to Waffles and Macarons. They also offer a few varieties of Korean Hot Dogs...though they were much smaller in size than the authentic versions. May need to check that out next time? BTW, I also tried their Green Milk Tea with Boba. It was pretty good, but VERY milky/creamy...almost too much so? Surprisingly, this cafe was quite lofty and spacious...as it stretched out fairly long in its unique layout. I thought they did a great job with the props and the decor...enough to give the place a bit of ambiance. THE only thing I found disappointing was their tableware/napkin station. It was very unruly...and there weren't any forks. There were also some other hits and misses on my first visit here, but am too tired to go into further details...so I'll just leave by saying that the good (Great Mochi Donuts!) definitely outweighed the bad (Greasy Bulgogi Garlic Bahn Mi!). Despite some disappointments, I loved their Mochi Donuts so much that I must drop them 5 stars. read more

We came here many times before but this time was not a good experience. The tiramisu we order is not fresh. The mascarpone cheese part tastes bad. When I told them was told that they just got it. I love this place! I have always been a fan of their original location in the University area but it's so far from me. This location is literally across the street from me! It is located in the Whitehall shopping center near the Wal-Mart and next to Sweet Frog. There is always parking available and the interior is spacious and clean. Service is always friendly and they have plenty of seating and even a couch area to hangout with friends. I see they also have board games available. The food is always solid and I've seen that they offer different specials during the weekends. I always look forward to those days. My go to items is the Fusion special Banh Mi and a Jasmine Green Tea with Grass Jelly. I've also tried several of their Mochi donuts and they're always really yummy. New shop in the area. My friend took me here as this is her frequent shop. I love the mochi donuts and other snacks that they have. The interior decor is nice looking and cozy. They have variety of snacks, since I am visiting I don't have much chance to try all of their snacks. I have tried the avocado coconut ice cream and coconut coffee, those taste good! The Ube waffle is very good as well. Mochi donuts are put in a nice box, can be a perfect gift for any occasion. They have like 15 flavors. I stopped in here because it was previously mine of my favorite pho places and I saw they were no longer here so I said why not give them a try. I was instantly greeted by the girl at the counter she was super nice. Went thru the menu for me describing the different types of teas. I ended up getting the strawberry kiss mason jar refresher and it was good. If you have a thing with textures this may not be an option for you as it does have chunks of jelly and also fruit chunks that come up when you drink it. It was very tasty tho. I also got the beef combination pho. It's good for a quick run I want some pho. Not quite making my favorite list for pho but I wouldn't mind going back for it. Came by for their special 2nd week in a row ...their snails (escargots ) are super delis! If you love the Lẩu and Ốc place down in Atlanta, then you would surely love this place and don't have to travel as far! They always have weekend specials, so we had the Bun Bo Hue today and it was super delis! Korean Corndog are super tasty too! My husband loves the Vietnamese coffee, I think he had two in one sitting! and the mochi donuts are sooo yum!! I think us Charlotteans (esp those who love Vietnamese food) are so lucky now that we have this Sweet Corner Cafe, almost everything I've seen and craved for on YouTube and tiktok, I can find them here on selected weekends ! I went on a Monday afternoon so it was super empty but there was still a pretty long wait for the donuts, although that is understandable as they seem to toast or frost the donuts fresh. The selection of donuts were also huge; my favorite was the matcha or cinnamon! The tea was also really good and I love the bits of fruit or jelly inside the drink. I got the lychee green tea which was really refreshing and not too sweet. My friend got the passion fruit paradise and that was full of jelly and fruits which made it really delicious. Always have to make a stop at 1368 Sweet Corner Cafe on our Sunday trip. This place have everything you could want in one cafe. They have a rotating menu every week and a must for my wife weekly. They have very traditional Vietnamese food but also have fusion meals and snacks. My wife loves their Taro Vietnamese coffee as it's a good blend of creaminess and sweetness. Their nuoc Mia is a must. The owner stated they used fresh sugar cane and the juice is squeezed when you order. It's not mixed with fillers like other place where they use different fruits to fill the juice. I can attest some of the best quality nuoc mia(sugar cane juice) in Charlotte. It's so refreshing on a hot day. Their mochi donuts are easily the best in Charlotte they have 20 flavors and they all are to die for. The donuts are a perfect blend of crispy with a slight chew to them. The flavoring aren't overly sweet and compliments the donuts very well. I could go on and on about all the different foods and desserts that they sell but I would be writing a novel at this point. The manager on duty would not remake the drink to our satisfaction or allow my sister and I --to choose a different kind. It's simply POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
