If you're a fan of bubble tea, this is the place to go. Inside is so cute, especially the little bench and floral backdrop, making it a great spot to take photos. The customer service here is top-tier--the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. It was my friend's first time trying bubble tea, and they were so patient, explaining the different flavors and even offering samples of the jellies to help her decide. They also reassured us multiple times that if we weren't satisfied with our drinks, they'd happily adjust them. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. My go-to order is the classic taro bubble tea with coconut jelly or the jasmine green tea, and I love that most of their menu is dairy-free. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality bubble tea and amazing service!
Absolutely love this place. Went in for a taro boba and it was some of the best boba I've had. The actual brown sugar pearls were the best boba pearls I've tasted. It was the perfect texture and right amount of sweetness. Got a mango and passion fruit yogurt drink and it was awesome. The butterscotch and chocolate mochi doughnut was AMAZING. It was my first time trying a mochi doughnut and it was absolutely delicious. Whenever I'm in the area I'm going to come here for boba. Service was nice. Didn't have to wait long for the boba, and although they got one of my drinks wrong, they let me keep the drink and were really nice. Ambiance is beautiful. A chill place to hang out with friends. Love it!!! Check this spot out :))
This was a cute random stop for me. I was craving something sweet but not too dense and mochi donuts satisfy that craving for me! The service was fast I was in and out. I got 3 donuts and a lychee green tea. Starting with the tea I usually like lychee tea but I will say here it was about a 3 out of 5 to me. I like the freshness of it but it had a bit too much of a soapy aftertaste to me. Next time I think I'll get the passion fruit one. Now the donuts were definitely a 5 out of 5 to me! They were a nice texture and density. I believe the flavors change so I was happy with all the flavors I chose. I got the Fruity pebbles, classic beginet, and the strawberry lemonade (which surprisingly was my favorite)!
I had the best friend date here over the weekend. This trip I only tried one of their teas. I had the passionfruit green tea with no sugar. It was delicious and refreshing! My friend had the twix mochi donut and it looked so good and soft. She loved it. We ended up sitting there for hours catching up. The inside is decorated so cute and there's plenty of seating and photo worthy things. I especially love their bathroom!! Great spot and can't wait to come back!
Love the setup of this place! Very cozy and picturesque. I got the taro boba tea with brown sugar boba. It was so good!! My only regret is getting the smaller size and not the large! The staff were so nice and the service was quick. It's hidden in a plaza by Golden Wings but definitely check this out!
I'm so glad I found this little shop! I walked in and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I'm a tea drinker, but there are time where I want to switch things up. The menu is well rounded and has enticing options for tea, milk tea, and coffee alike. I tried the ginger milk tea and it did not disappoint! You have the option to do a green tea or black tea base. There were real ginger pieces and it was good! It was nice mix of ginger and milk tea. I was so sad when I finished the drink. There is a little swing area to sit or take pics. The drinks are a nice size, and I can't wait to come back !!!
Wow!!! It's definitely a must if you wanted to try any type of boba tea blended. First, I came in with lots of questions cause everything I was eye tasting, lol. The guy taking our order was very friendly and patient with me while I was ordering for a hit minute. The decor of the places made it very adventurous to be here. We enjoyed our drinks so much we ordered another set to go. The mochi donut was chewy with a funnel cake taste. Yummy! I can see me taking the long trip to try this place again
After shopping at the outlet mall, I came over and tried this place out. Usually, I am a Thai tea with Boba type girl but I wanted to try something different. As we were the only people there at the time I went ahead and asked the employees for their favorite drinks recommendations. The first guy suggested the taro tea but I was looking for something more fruity, so I went with the second recommendation of lychee green tea. To be honest, I didn't like it. I took a few more sips and then decided to ask the employees if I could get something else. At first they were a little apprehensive. I was told I could purchase another drink but they don't do refunds/exchanges. He then asked another staff member who thankfully made an exception and I was able to switch to a strawberry green tea with boba. When I got the second drink the bottom of the cup was hot so I knew the boba was fresh. This drink was much better but I think next time I'll try the black tea. I appreciate the service recovery here and I'll definitely come back and try them out again.
Super cute interior. This bubble tea shop also has mochi donuts and macarons. Good service polite workers. I got Taro milk tea with boba and it was tasty. I like that you can adjust sweetness level.
Definitely a good spot for mochi donuts! We came an hour before closing so unfortunately they ran out of some flavors we wanted to try (original & biscoff) but the matcha latte was still delicious & as chewy as expected of a mochi donut. As another review mentioned, mochi donuts are best enjoyed as soon as you get them. We also ordered the honeydew milk tea (large) which was good! I'm used to boba being a bit chewier & sweeter but not too bad. I'll definitely be asking for 25% or even no ice next time since it felt like the amount of ice in the cup took away from how much drink we actually got with how big the ice cubes are. Cute cafe with nice features for pics.
We stumble upon this boba tea shop during our shopping excursion. The service was friendly and efficient. Our boba tea came out very quickly and it was very tasty. Highly recommended!
Steele creek Ding Tea is now Moji Teahouse and I'm super excited for this change. I got a chance to attend the soft opening and was super excited to try their Mochi Donuts!!! There was a line almost to the door when I arrived around 2pm. The line moved kinda quickly. I was worried that the mochi donuts would run out but they were making more in the back. For my order I got a 6 piece Mochi donut, 2 Teriyaki Spam Musubis, and 6 green teas. We got to take advantage the buy 5 drinks get 1 drink free special! Now I had tried most of the items we ordered before. I did get 2 of the special tea drinks. They were ok but nothing special. The star was the Mochi Donuts. Mochi Donuts are my new fav treat! I got 2 each of the Strawberry, Cookies and Cream and Ube. The donuts are amazing and they will have flavor changes each week!!! I'm in big trouble. Overall the soft opening was great and I'm so excited I only have to drive 5 minutes to snack on my new favorite treat Mochi Donuts!!! Stopped by for some mochi donuts and boba tea. The service was good and prepared our order in a timely manner. I got a Pandan Milk Tea with boba pearls and tried their Berry in Love mochi donut. The donut was very good, not too sweet and perfectly chewy. Their milk tea was very good. The pandan flavor was present but not too strong. The pearls had a good chewy texture. The ambiance was great for studying or hanging out with friends. read more
I was just here 2 weeks ago lol, but had to return for more...this time to bring back enough for my boys at home. Of the 6 new flavors of the week (they change out weekly), decided to get 2 each of Matcha Oreo, Pina Colada and Chocolate Peanuts... By now, I've tried the Matcha Oreo and Pina Colada...and they were both HEAVENLY!! I also tried their Watermelon Lychee drink...and I wasn't as much of a fan (think I'll stick with the Watermelon fruit). Honestly, I would have loved it if they had smaller sizes in drinks (they only had 1 size - Large)...since I wasn't sure if it was worth it. Also, I must mention that I thought the toppings on the donuts (see my pics!) were quite sparse...and sloppy. Again, I LOVED the taste of the donuts...but it would have been nicer if they looked a bit better. Despite the sloppy presentation of donuts today, I'm not going to dock any stars. However, I just wanted to mention that pretty soon, there will be competition...I hear Mochinut, nation's leading chain of Mochi Donuts, is coming to Charlotte. I've tried Mochinut's Mochi Donuts in Georgia recently...and I must admit that they look much better (with more, better distributed toppings, better formation of donuts, etc.etc.). Also, I think they were cheaper. It's a good thing that at least these Moji donuts taste as good as Mochinut donuts. Anyhoo, am SO glad these Mochi Donuts are here...and doing quite well (there was a line when I stopped in mid-day!). I'm sure I'll return to try more flavors soon. Hopefully the donuts will look as good as they taste next time?? read more

This review is long overdue. Been coming to Moji a few times since it opened. Their flavors change weekly, which may not be good if you like coming to a place and getting the same flavors, but I can say all of they flavors I've tried so far are tasty! My favorite is the white chocolate macadamia mochi donut. Just the right amount of crunch and chewy! They also offer boba/milk teas which are quite tasty as well. We come here monthly or sometimes weekly if we need a sugar fill and are in the area. read more
They have mochi donut!!! I repeat: they have mochi donut!!! LOL All jokes aside, I was so excited that we have a place that sells mochi donuts in Charlotte. For those of you who don't know, mochi donut is basically donut made with mochi/glutenous flour so it is donuts with a little bit chewy, gooey texture. Mochi donut has been around for a while in big cities but finally made its way to Charlotte. Moji House offers 6 different flavors each week. My favorite so far is the beignet, so simple but so good. In addition to mochi donuts, they also have bubble tea. They have all kinds of flavor but my favorite is signature milk tea (can't you tell that i like classic stuff?). Note: if you see the donut pic only shows half, it's because it was so yum we ate half before I could snap a pic lol read more

This place is so Ka'ute! Def an insta worthy spot, they have a swing that is super dope for photos! I ordered two original donuts and one matcha oreo, I didn't really care for the matcha one as it had a bit of a bitter after taste, but we did enjoy the original donuts, it was my first time trying mochi donuts and they have a bouncy chew to them which I like, they seem to rotate/ change flavors daily, hopefully I can come by on a day where they have a better selection to try some new flavors! Overall nothing crazy about the donuts, in my opinion they were a bit pricey - $10+ for only 3. In other news - They seem to have a pretty extensive selection of boba teas, so I'd be back for sure to try those out! read more

2 words, mochi doughnuts! I think I have found my favorites here at Moji Teahouse. They rotate flavors so you have to keep coming back to try more, but who's complaining?! The boba selection is also good. Many tea, slush, and fruit options with customization available. The decor in the shop is very Instagram-worthy, so come prepared to snap some cute pics while you're there. All in all, this is a cute shop with quality snacks and drinks. Hit them up! read more

My husband and I tried Ding Tea, but just recently came back for the first time since they rebranded and changed up their menu a bit. We shared: - Pandan Coconut Waffle - Lychee Strawberry and Passion Fruit Mochi Donuts - Passion Fruit Macaron The mochi donuts were great. I loved both flavors. They change their flavors every Monday. The Pandan waffle was also very good. I'm happy to have a place like this in Steele Creek. We don't usually get cool places in the area. I'll be back for more mochi donuts. read more

My first time visiting this location. It seemed like they were a little flustered. 2 people ahead of me and it took 20 minutes to place my order. Area seemed clean however. Anyone who is lactose intolerant I would be super careful. The claim that is made with their milk teas is that is made with a "non dairy creamer" though it's not non dairy. It still contains sodium casinate which is a milk protein and fda says it has low levels of lactose in it. So anyone who is super lactose intolerant this can still make you sick. There is no option of any other milk alternatives for their drinks. I ordered a Mochi donut for my husband and he says he liked it. read more

Best boba in CLT! Drinks and boba are always consistent and soo soft! My favorite is the honey milk tea read more
Friendly staff that fell short when it came to the sweet treats and boba drinks. The ambiance is super cute and very insta-worthy, and the staff is very attentive. Ordered the fresh lychee juice with golden boba (honey boba), black sesame coconut mochi donut, and the pandan waffle. The lychee juice tasted mostly like water with a little sweetness and the golden boba was almost soggy. The black sesame mochi donut had a nice texture, but the flavors were a bit off. Lastly, the pandan waffle didn't have too much of a pandan flavor and tasted more like coconut. I would come back to try a different flavor mochi donut, but would def skip on boba drinks. read more

We loved the previous bubble tea shop but happy they made the change as well! There was an issue with the card swipe machine which created a backlog that morning, but they were trying their best! The bubble teas was made to order and the mochi donuts did not disappoint. I tried the churro and Biscoff donuts, and yum yum yum! Lots of parking in the plaza. read more

Moji is has wide variety of drinks to choose from. The tea is well-made, with a flavorful taste. The look and feel is like being in a real deal Taiwan boba shop. The service at moJi Tea is friendly and efficient. The staff is always happy to help you choose the perfect drink, and they make sure your order is made quickly. The prices at moji Tea are reasonable, and they offer a variety of drinks of the day in store and on instagram. Overall, moji Tea is a great place to get a delicious and affordable boba tea. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. read more
And so here we are once again. Right back to the review scene and I will like to say. These were the most amazing mochi donuts I have ever had in my life. I've had my eye on this place for soo long!!! Went on a Saturday around 1pm ... place was completely empty. Like other reviews mention, they have beautiful decor which would make for a nice photo shoot! I had a large Taro Milk Tea (regular ice and sweetness) and two mochi donuts (strawberry and chocolate toffee). The donuts were good - had a chewy texture. Loved how I could pull them apart. I was concerned my second donut wouldn't be good since I couldn't eat both in one sitting. However, I found the texture to be the same! I ate the second donut roughly 3 hours later (also, I did not refrigerate). Surrounding area is nice - not far from the outlet mall! read more

We went on a Thursday afternoon and it was not busy. We ordered the signature milk tea, and strawberry milk tea which were great. We also ordered 6 of their donuts they had for this week- honey lavender, berry lemon, chocolate sprinkles, mango, maple bacon and cinnamon Roll. They were all amazing and had the most satisfying texture! This place only loses a star because our total came out to $32 which i think is a little overpriced for donuts and tea. read more

Thank you to my neighbor and friend who put me on this place right around the corner from the house. I would have never knew this hidden gem was here. Moji Teahouse shares the same parking lot with The Jerk Joint, Smallcakes, and Bonzai Thai restaurant. They offer a variety of flavor, fresh and milk teas, coffee, slushies and my favorite the donuts. lThe donuts are cute, so fresh, light and yummy. The chai tea donut so far is my favorite. The donut flavors rotate so you may not always come in and see your favorite donut available. They also don't open up til 10 or 11. I wanted to grab some donuts for a morning event and it was bummer to find out they weren't open. The service has always been great and fast and there is a lot of pictures ops in the tea house. 10/10 would recommend. Tip: do a google review or Yelp review and receive 15% off. read more

I ordered Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Boba. And 1/2 dozen of Mochi donuts( Strawberry Matcha, Frusty, Christmas something..etc). And Panda Coconut Waffle. I am so glad to visit here. It's far from my home. But it was definitely worth it. And I can choose Oatmilk for Oolong Milk tea!! The taste is sooo amazing . I recommend Strawberry Matcha, Rudolph Mochi Donut. Also, the interior was so cute :) I will definitely visit again :) (The only thing that would've made it even better was if the mochi had been warm;)) read more
I really wanted to love this place. They have insta worthy photo spots. However, the donuts weren't as mochi/chewy as I would like. Their glaze was runny and low key bland. We also got the strawberry raspberry sparkling juice but it looked nothing like the picture. Maybe they got our order wrong but regardless it was alright. read more
