Absolutely love this place. Went in for a taro boba and it was some of the best boba I've had. The actual brown sugar pearls were the best boba pearls I've tasted. It was the perfect texture and right amount of sweetness. Got a mango and passion fruit yogurt drink and it was awesome. The butterscotch and chocolate mochi doughnut was AMAZING. It was my first time trying a mochi doughnut and it was absolutely delicious. Whenever I'm in the area I'm going to come here for boba. Service was nice. This was a cute random stop for me. I was craving something sweet but not too dense and mochi donuts satisfy that craving for me! The service was fast I was in and out. I got 3 donuts and a lychee green tea. Starting with the tea I usually like lychee tea but I will say here it was about a 3 out of 5 to me. I like the freshness of it but it had a bit too much of a soapy aftertaste to me. Next time I think I'll get the passion fruit one. Now the donuts were definitely a 5 out of 5 to me! I'm so glad I found this little shop! I walked in and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I'm a tea drinker, but there are time where I want to switch things up. The menu is well rounded and has enticing options for tea, milk tea, and coffee alike. I tried the ginger milk tea and it did not disappoint! You have the option to do a green tea or black tea base. After shopping at the outlet mall, I came over and tried this place out. Usually, I am a Thai tea with Boba type girl but I wanted to try something different. As we were the only people there at the time I went ahead and asked the employees for their favorite drinks recommendations. The first guy suggested the taro tea but I was looking for something more fruity, so I went with the second recommendation of lychee green tea. To be honest, I didn't like it. I took a few more sips and then decided to ask the employees if I could get something else. At first they were a little apprehensive. I was told I could purchase another drink but they don't do refunds/exchanges. He then asked another staff member who thankfully made an exception and I was able to switch to a strawberry green tea with boba. When I got the second drink the bottom of the cup was hot so I knew the boba was fresh. This drink was much better but I think next time I'll try the black tea. We came an hour before closing so unfortunately they ran out of some flavors we wanted to try (original & biscoff) but the matcha latte was still delicious & as chewy as expected of a mochi donut. As another review mentioned, mochi donuts are best enjoyed as soon as you get them. We also ordered the honeydew milk tea (large) which was good! I'm used to boba being a bit chewier & sweeter but not too bad. I'll definitely be asking for 25% or even no ice next time since it felt like the amount of ice in the cup took away from how much drink we actually got with how big the ice cubes are. Steele creek Ding Tea is now Moji Teahouse and I'm super excited for this change. I got a chance to attend the soft opening and was super excited to try their Mochi Donuts!!! There was a line almost to the door when I arrived around 2pm. The line moved kinda quickly. I was worried that the mochi donuts would run out but they were making more in the back. For my order I got a 6 piece Mochi donut, 2 Teriyaki Spam Musubis, and 6 green teas. We got to take advantage the buy 5 drinks get 1 drink free special! Now I had tried most of the items we ordered before. I did get 2 of the special tea drinks. They were ok but nothing special. The star was the Mochi Donuts. Mochi Donuts are my new fav treat! For those of you who don't know, mochi donut is basically donut made with mochi/glutenous flour so it is donuts with a little bit chewy, gooey texture. Mochi donut has been around for a while in big cities but finally made its way to Charlotte. Moji House offers 6 different flavors each week. My favorite so far is the beignet, so simple but so good. In addition to mochi donuts, they also have bubble tea. They have all kinds of flavor but my favorite is signature milk tea (can't you tell that i like classic stuff?). Their flavors change weekly, which may not be good if you like coming to a place and getting the same flavors, but I can say all of they flavors I've tried so far are tasty! I was just here 2 weeks ago lol, but had to return for more...this time to bring back enough for my boys at home. Of the 6 new flavors of the week (they change out weekly), decided to get 2 each of Matcha Oreo, Pina Colada and Chocolate Peanuts... By now, I've tried the Matcha Oreo and Pina Colada...and they were both HEAVENLY!! I also tried their Watermelon Lychee drink...and I wasn't as much of a fan (think I'll stick with the Watermelon fruit). Honestly, I would have loved it if they had smaller sizes in drinks (they only had 1 size - Large)...since I wasn't sure if it was worth it. Also, I must mention that I thought the toppings on the donuts (see my pics!) were quite sparse...and sloppy. Again, I LOVED the taste of the donuts...but it would have been nicer if they looked a bit better. Despite the sloppy presentation of donuts today, I'm not going to dock any stars. However, I just wanted to mention that pretty soon, there will be competition...I hear Mochinut, nation's leading chain of Mochi Donuts, is coming to Charlotte. I've tried Mochinut's Mochi Donuts in Georgia recently...and I must admit that they look much better (with more, better distributed toppings, better formation of donuts, etc.etc.). Also, I think they were cheaper. It's a good thing that at least these Moji donuts taste as good as Mochinut donuts. Anyhoo, am SO glad these Mochi Donuts are here...and doing quite well (there was a line when I stopped in mid-day!). I'm sure I'll return to try more flavors soon. This place is so Ka'ute! Def an insta worthy spot, they have a swing that is super dope for photos! I ordered two original donuts and one matcha oreo, I didn't really care for the matcha one as it had a bit of a bitter after taste, but we did enjoy the original donuts, it was my first time trying mochi donuts and they have a bouncy chew to them which I like, they seem to rotate/ change flavors daily, hopefully I can come by on a day where they have a better selection to try some new flavors! Overall nothing crazy about the donuts, in my opinion they were a bit pricey - $10+ for only 3. My first time visiting this location. It seemed like they were a little flustered. 2 people ahead of me and it took 20 minutes to place my order. Area seemed clean however. Anyone who is lactose intolerant I would be super careful. The claim that is made with their milk teas is that is made with a "non dairy creamer" though it's not non dairy. It still contains sodium casinate which is a milk protein and fda says it has low levels of lactose in it. So anyone who is super lactose intolerant this can still make you sick. There is no option of any other milk alternatives for their drinks. I ordered a Mochi donut for my husband and he says he liked it. read more

Ordered the fresh lychee juice with golden boba (honey boba), black sesame coconut mochi donut, and the pandan waffle. The lychee juice tasted mostly like water with a little sweetness and the golden boba was almost soggy. The black sesame mochi donut had a nice texture, but the flavors were a bit off. I had a large Taro Milk Tea (regular ice and sweetness) and two mochi donuts (strawberry and chocolate toffee). The donuts were good - had a chewy texture. Loved how I could pull them apart. I was concerned my second donut wouldn't be good since I couldn't eat both in one sitting. However, I found the texture to be the same! We went on a Thursday afternoon and it was not busy. We ordered the signature milk tea, and strawberry milk tea which were great. We also ordered 6 of their donuts they had for this week- honey lavender, berry lemon, chocolate sprinkles, mango, maple bacon and cinnamon Roll. Thank you to my neighbor and friend who put me on this place right around the corner from the house. I would have never knew this hidden gem was here. Moji Teahouse shares the same parking lot with The Jerk Joint, Smallcakes, and Bonzai Thai restaurant. They offer a variety of flavor, fresh and milk teas, coffee, slushies and my favorite the donuts. lThe donuts are cute, so fresh, light and yummy. The chai tea donut so far is my favorite. The donut flavors rotate so you may not always come in and see your favorite donut available. They also don't open up til 10 or 11. I wanted to grab some donuts for a morning event and it was bummer to find out they weren't open. I ordered Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Boba. And 1/2 dozen of Mochi donuts( Strawberry Matcha, Frusty, Christmas something..etc). And Panda Coconut Waffle. I am so glad to visit here. The tea is excellent here, but that's just the foundation. The various flavors taste natural and are high quality. For example, I love the passion fruit black milk tea because the flavor really tastes like the fruit. I tried the same flavor at one of the OTHER highly rated teahouses in Charlotte and it was SO AWFUL, tasting entirely fake and too sweet! Plus their boba are so succulent.
