The croissant was very good and buttery but it was kind of messy to eat. I would probably stick with the bagel next time! For drinks I tried one of the staff recommendations and a drip coffee. I'm not a coffee connoisseur but I thought the Lilly was very good, sweet but not too heavy or sugary, but it was a little bit expensive for the price as the cup was fairly small. So if you don't actually like coffee and just drink it for the aesthetic then you'll like this place. My cinnamon roll was delicious, while my wife's muffin was not that great and didn't taste that fresh unfortunately. Drink wise both were phenomenal! My wife's even came topped with a homemade marshmallow and my had a great amount of flavor of a fruit that I am not use to seeing (popular in this area though and I can see why). Besides seasonal they also have all the drinks you'd expect from a coffee shop. Absolute no brainer to stop here if you are from the Potsdam area or visiting or even traveling through. Coffee- I ordered Americano and Flat White (used Oat milk) and found the coffee was about weak. Pastries - They were both amazingly delicious. The Chocolate pastry and a sour cherry yoghurt pastry caught my eye and those were both good choices. There were also good food and pastries offering. This is definitely a cafe that is be back if I am in Ottawa again.
