They serve coffee, tea, sandwiches, salads, pastries and squares. They share their space with The Niche Ottawa Gallery which showcases art from Ottawan artists. The cafe is eclectic and has a cozy community feel to it. I like it. I got 2 sandwiches there. Their sandwiches are actually from Lunchbox (which has a location close by in Orleans and a newly opened one in Hintonburg). I got a BLT and a Chickpea Salad sandwich. Both were very good. I had a bite of each. My dad loved the Chickpea Salad sandwich. He said it was interesting and different from other sandwiches that he's had. It was chickpeas mixed with corn in a mayo sauce with a hint of curry. It had some greens and fresh herbs in it too. The BLT had the usual bacon, lettuce and tomato, but also a special sauce in it, that made it unique. My mom liked the BLT sandwich. What a great discovery! The fries I had were a bit undercooked I felt but the chicken nuggets and smoothie I had were decent. The service at this location was good because we did get our food quickly from the staff members. The ambiance at this location was poor because the floors were quite dirty and the restaurant tables were quite dirty in general. The ordering screens were disgusting because they have not been cleaned at all. For the reasons I have stated in this review, I highly recommend you stay away from this McDonalds location because it is genuinely disgusting and gross. I would also highly recommend you avoid going to this location because some of the food was undercooked.

I have been a loyal, daily regular at this Tim Hortons, but I have finally hit my limit and will…read morenot be returning. I am writing this review in the sincere hope that management takes a hard look at how this location is being run. The drive-thru wait times here are absolutely awful--honestly the worst of any Tim Hortons in the city. But what makes it unbearable is the customer service. While it isn't every single employee, there are a select few staff members who are incredibly rude and clearly have not been trained on basic politeness or courtesy. When you get to the window, there is no "hello," no "thank you," and no "have a nice day." They hand you your items in silence and act as if they are being forced to work there on probation. It takes zero effort to be polite, and as a daily customer, I shouldn't be made to feel like an inconvenience. Management seriously needs to step in, retrain their staff on basic hospitality, and fix the speed of the drive-thru. Until then, you've lost my daily business for good.
