The cronuts I had at the Orleans location were part of the end of day sale, yet they tasted fresher than the ones in Stittsville. So my brother heard that the Orleans location had an end of day sale where after 4:30pm they sell off the remainder of their cronuts for $25 a half dozen. The donuts are $5.80 each regularly. When he arrived at 4:30pm he found out the sale actually starts at 4pm, but it was ok because they still had donuts left. He got a PB&J (Peanut butter and jelly), Raspberry Lemon, Cinnamon Sugar (they call it Sinnerman), Sprinkles, PS no L (Pumpkin Spice no Latte) and Vanilla (they call it Anastasia, which I initially thought was strange, but I think it might be a reference to 50 Shades of Grey, which I never read nor watched but have heard more than enough about it from my friends, lol). The PB&J, Raspberry Lemon and PS no L are all cream filled. The other ones don't have any filling. I had a quarter of each of the filled ones and they were fantastic. My favourite was the Raspberry Lemon one. I loved the tart lemon curd filling. I didn't try the non-filled ones. Cronuts are part croissant and part donut and all delicious, lol. I definitely recommend this Orleans location of Holey Confections. Since my brother bought them, I can't comment on service or ambiance, but I know they are located in a strip mall and there is free parking on site. (2)

The Tenth Line Road one is closer, so I usually go there, but more and more I'm going to this one instead. Like most Tim Hortons, this one has a drive thru. It has a small dine in area as well. No patio or outdoor seating, which is part for the course for a Tim Hortons anyway. I'm a bit disappointed that since June 2020 Tim Hortons is supposed to offer skim milk as an option, but this location does not have it yet. So I have to settle for 2%. Lots of free parking as it's in a plaza.

I have had their donuts before, but at a different location. This location is similar to other locations, so it was great. UberEats was having a buy one get one free offer on their Twist Lokma (12 pieces covered in white chocolate and Nutella, with fresh sliced strawberries and crushed peanuts). A box is usually $11.99, but I got 2 boxes for that price. They fry the lokma to order, so you know you are getting fresh donuts everytime. The lokma were nice and crispy on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside. They are a little denser than at Mr. Puffs (who I think is their major competitor). They also sell ice cream and milkshakes, though I have never them. I picked up my order and service was friendly. They are located in a strip mall, so there's free parking in the strip mall parking lot. Turkish donuts are hard to come by in Ottawa, let alone Orleans, so I'm glad to see Lokma in the area :)

They serve coffee, tea, sandwiches, salads, pastries and squares. They share their space with The Niche Ottawa Gallery which showcases art from Ottawan artists. The cafe is eclectic and has a cozy community feel to it. I like it. I got 2 sandwiches there. Their sandwiches are actually from Lunchbox (which has a location close by in Orleans and a newly opened one in Hintonburg). I got a BLT and a Chickpea Salad sandwich. Both were very good. I had a bite of each. My dad loved the Chickpea Salad sandwich. He said it was interesting and different from other sandwiches that he's had. It was chickpeas mixed with corn in a mayo sauce with a hint of curry. It had some greens and fresh herbs in it too. The BLT had the usual bacon, lettuce and tomato, but also a special sauce in it, that made it unique. My mom liked the BLT sandwich. What a great discovery! The ordering screens were disgusting because they have not been cleaned at all. For the reasons I have stated in this review, I highly recommend you stay away from this McDonalds location because it is genuinely disgusting and gross. But fear not, Tim Hortons are ubiquitous in Orleans. Don't like a location? Literally you can drive for less than 5 minutes and you'll find other location, lol. Anyway, I made the mistake of visiting this location. My mom had some Tim Hortons reward points on her phone app that were expiring soon, so while I was visiting, she asked if I could buy some stuff for her and also redeem some points. I love doing things for my mom, so off I went. The Tim Hortons closest to my parents' house was closed due to "staffing issues" (it has since closed down permanently) so I drove to the next closest one and the drive thru line was epic, so then drove to this one. I ordered a Regular Roast Beef and Cheddar Sandwich (this was the one my mom wanted to redeem 220 points for) and 2 Chicken Bacon Ranch Wraps (my mom had an offer on the app buy one get one free. The regular price is $6.39 each). I don't like that this drive thru does not have a screen that shows you what your order is like other locations have. If they did, I would have seen that they punched in my order wrong! So I drive up to the window and scan my mom's phone app. The guys says the total is $10 something. Now we pay a lot of taxes here, but no way that a pre-tax amount of $6.39 ends up being $10 something. I asked the guy if that was right because I get one for free on points and the other is free with the app offer. He looks at his monitor and says that I got one free and $2 off one, and regular price for one. I said it should be 2 for free. He said you can't use 2 offers at once. I said I'm using one offer and redeeming one reward, this is allowed and I do it all the time. He couldn't explain why it was ringing through the way it was. The lineup behind me was starting to pile up and it was only a few bucks and the poor guy didn't know what to do, so I was like ok whatever, I paid for it, got my food and drove off. It was only after the fact that I realize what happened. They gave me a Roast Beef Cravable instead of a Regular Roast Beef and Cheddar Sandwich. The Cravable is a mini sandwich. So what happened is they charged me for one of the Chicken wraps, the other one I got for free in exchange for my mom's 220 reward points and they charged me for the Cravable, but for some reason I got $2 off the Cravable. My mom's buy one get one free (BOGO) app offer was not claimed, as it remained on her app (they usually disappear once they are used). So it was a total waste of 220 points, because she had the BOGO offer and I had to pay for the Cravable mini sandwich (although I got a $2 discount). I'm not a happy camper. I get it, people make mistakes, but on top of all that the bread on the Cravable was burnt around the edges, and the wraps were so poorly wrapped (too loose) and for some reason totally stuck to the inside of the cardboard holder it was in. I had difficulty removing it from the holder for pictures and the wrap ripped. I should have gone to the one on Tenth Line and Brian Coburn. Or the one on St. Joseph across from Place d'Orleans mall. No shortage of choices. I just made the wrong one :(
