This Starbucks is just a few minutes from my house, making it incredibly convenient to grab a to-go order before work. The Starbucks app makes it so easy to place an order ahead of time while I'm at home getting ready. Today, I had my usual iced peach green tea with light ice, and it tasted great! I am giving this store a very low rating based on my interaction with the manager, Amber. She was not helpful at all. All I wanted was a drink that she apparently had never heard of, and she became extremely rude, telling me that other stores should not have been making it for me--even though I had ordered it at several different locations. She outright refused to make the drink. All I asked for was matcha powder over ice so I could add my protein shake and make the drink healthier, as I am trying to make better choices. However, she thought it was funny, laughed, and said she would not do it. I find it odd and unprofessional that someone can refuse to make a drink simply because they think it is unusual. read more

This is my go-to location whenever I'm heading to or leaving from my church for a visit or Sunday service when I take 121. Personally this is my favorite SB location. I've done both walk-in and drive-thru that I have so much experience. I also had call-ahead traveler's orders. At all my visit, the employees are super friendly and willing to hold conversations with you even if they are busy. However, the convos are shorter when busy hours ;) They always seek for wait time ahead of my order when I visit; so, I am always thankful for that. The drinks I get are always consistent! Cleanliness of this location is always consistent whether busy or andante. I love how well the employees keep the store clean. I wish it had more seats; so, I can sit on a busy hours too, lol. Most Starbucks are pretty similar but this one stands out for having extra-friendly staff. The interior seating is plentiful and the location is convenient, right off of the tollway. PRO TIP: If your goal is to get as much caffeine into your body as quickly as possible, for minimal cost, espresso shots are way to go. My order is 3 espresso shots over ice which costs less than $2.50. That's approximately 200-240mg of caffeine in a smaller volume of liquid than a "tall" cup of drip coffee. Much better for you than any energy drink you'll find in a gas station! read more

Just got back on the road after purchasing 5 drinks for my family and I and my hot coffee is room temperature and tastes old I'm sorry but if you can't get a hot cup of coffee at a Starbucks that is as pathetic as it gets ! If I could give this Starbucks a 6 I would. Besides being a really nice Starbucks they have stayed open when multiple Starbucks around them took the afternoon off. So this is the second time they have saved my day when a closer one was closed. I rely on Starbucks to get work done after taking my husband to work, at varying locations in Denton and other nearby counties. It took me quite a few tries after the Starbucks I was at this morning threw everyone out at noon (eight to be exact) but here they are. My third time coming here and while I don't like that I have to be seven miles away from where my husband is working now I will probably try to make it this one when he's working slightly closer. read more

the various Starbucks locations around where I live are alright. But the one on Hebron and 121 is the best out of all of them. They are consistent in their great service, consistent in the ingredients, and consistent with their drinks and food. There has not been a time that I've been there that they've messed up an order. The others around me? Not so much...but they can use this one as an example and learn how to be consistent in all these areas. read more

They have playlists that always go right back to what Starbucks wants them to listen to even if they keep changing it. I really wanted this to be my go-to location since I'm an avid coffee drinker. But it's always a hit-or-miss here. Sometimes they make it right, a lot of times they don't. They quite often seem to forget that extra shot I ask for. When I mentioned this to the drive-through person a few months back, she was very kind and gave me a coupon for a future drink in the house. However, today they messed up 3 out of four items on my order. I ordered 2 tall drinks with an extra shot in each - I was given 2 grandes with extra shots (had to go ask for extra shots for these because now there's too much milk). I asked for a butter croissant - I was given an almond one. When I went back in to tell the lady what happened, she did not apologize for the mistakes. I pointed out to her that if the person taking the order at the cash register had been trained to repeat back my order, at least my coffee order error would have been avoided - she said she would talk to the person (but I never saw her do that). With her attitude, I doubt I'll be back to this location. read more

I rarely write reviews, but I was so annoyed this morning I couldn't help myself. My husband and I were so excited about this location opening up right next to us, and I've tried to give it a chance since it's so new, but I think I'm done with it already. Every single time I stop, which is quite often, they are out of EVERYTHING that I want. And I wouldn't complain about it so much if it weren't so early in the day. How can you always be out of scones before and sandwiches before 11am. It's so annoying. Management really needs some work. I'm going to start bypassing this one and just go directly to Josey Lane so I can avoid the frustration. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is bc the staff is really nice and friendly. read more

For this location to be considerably new, you'd expect a lot better service. I have gone to this location 4 times and literally each time I go they're out of something. I was so happy to see one coming so close by but honestly, I rather just drive the extra 1.5 mile to another location and be guaranteed what I want. Also, they're not the fastest. I was in line for 12 min for nothing, because what I wanted they were out of and I was STUCK IN THE LINE, because there's no exit.
