The food is delicious and the drinks are refreshing. The staff is friendly, and the establishment is well-kept and tidy.

Mocha Frappuccino with no whip.

Mocha Frappuccino with no whip. I had not even taken a sip yet and the drink settled to almost half of what should have been in the Grande size cup. Next time please fulfill your portions better to accommodate the actual size. Such robbery.

Small corner location.

Stopped by on our way out of town last night as Dear Hubby had a Starbucks craving. He went in while I waited in the car. We'd done a lot of walking and I was ready to rest. I have been inside in the past. It's a smaller location in a shopping plaza away from the beach and the downtown area. It's not far off the freeway. Established before drive-thru Starbucks became so popular, this location has indoor and outdoor seating. Our Frappuccino was frosty and delicious; a great summer's evening treat.

The trash overflow

Starbucks is a known entity. That said, this isn't one of the better ones. It's too small for the number of patrons and needs a more regular cleaning. There must have been 25 coffee drinkers packed into this Starbucks this morning. The order line was pinched between the pastry counter and a rack of stuff to buy (mugs, packaged coffee, etc). There weren't enough seats, and the floor needed a sweeping. Corporate should move this to a larger location. This one is showing its age.

Overcrowding in Carpenteria Starbucks

This Starbucks is not only poorly run, it is dangerous to be in. The sign in the store reads they support social distancing and want only 6 persons in the store at a time. The picture tells a different story. There were 12 people crammed in this store some of who h you don't see in the Pic. They also got 3 orders completely wrong just in the time in I was there. They need a total clean out of management here.

Why is this location ALWAYS out of mocha? Service and wait times is all over the place. Management here is clearly very poor.

The outdoor seating was super cute with little steel tables and chairs, plus plenty of umbrellas for anyone sensitive to the sun. The menu was simple but had vegetarian options, and they also had a case full of bakery goodies that looked delicious. I ordered the white mocha decaf with oat milk and a breakfast sandwich -- both were really good! There wasn't too much interaction with the staff, but they kept the line moving and got the food out quickly. Overall, a great location within walking distance to shops and gardens that we enjoyed strolling through after breakfast. Definitely worth stopping by!

My parents are older and get cold easily, so we sat next to the fire pit. It turns off suddenly and we request it to please be turned back on as it's overcast and barely noon, and a waitress who hasn't been near us in 20 minutes says she smelled gas just now and had to turn it off. Translation: cheap management saw the sun coming out and wanted to save money. There was no gas smell. So classless. Even when we mentioned it again and asked, the glazed-eyes looking girl gave a slight remix of her "unfortunately umm due to me umm smelling gas umm we are not able to turn it back onnnnn." Is everyone who works here on meds or something? Coffee was terrible and watered-down, and simple premade sandwiches took 20 minutes to heat in a panini press and bring out. Food was very mediocre and my "poached" egg was basically hard boiled. The food tastes much better when you order online, probably because they actually know you have a set time limit to pick it up so they make it fresh and with effort. They just dgaf if you're seated, I guess. Just go to Lucky Llama guys.

The food and honey are fresh and delicious, and their honey hand balm is soft and deeply moisturizing. Their staff are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet and you can tell how passionate they are about the business and making a positive impact on their community. At one point they noticed I didn't get my order in time, and brought out an extra slice to thank me for my patience, which goes to show their attention to making their customers happy and quickly correcting any mistakes. Food was extra fresh and absolutely delicious. Pepperoni Pizza - 5/5. Soft sourdough crust and mini pepperoni cups. Salad - 5/5. Fresh. Croutons and ranch made in house. Cookies - 5/5. Peanut butter chuck and chocolate chip cookies were perfectly chunky. Hot Honey - 5/5. Extra spicy (and when I say spicy, I mean spicy), and goes well with the pizza! For those who are familiar with the show Schitt's Creek, I would compare Lost & Found to Rose Apothecary. Instead of David and Patrick, you have two sisters named Susan and Patty who warmly welcome you in. While one could describe it as a 'general store,' others would think it isn't so 'general'. It is a communal coffee shop in that making that hopes to allow everyone to "come in and find themselves." The ultimate goal is to be open seven days a week selling a wide variety of things, including: -Specialty dark roast French coffee with milk -Freshly made goodies (including chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and an assortment of chocolate-dipped ginger, apricots and more) -Home decor and products (lotions, candles, fragrances) -Locally made art pieces, stationery and more! You can't help but notice the space's focal point of a gorgeous tropical-framed painting or all the local art that yells "Carpinteria!" I am truly excited to see this business grow and expand with the plans to have outdoor seating--particularly during these difficult times.

Friendly service, fun in the sun, and full from a delicious bagel sandwich…read more My partner adores this bagel shop and got the Linden Ave. I was very happy getting to enjoy the Milpas Melt while out in the sun under an umbrella in their outdoor seating. His didn't arrive until about 10-15 minutes later, and they forgot the bagel entirely. The server dropped the food off and disappeared. His potatoes were completely raw, the food was barely warm, and the corned beef hash had zero crisp to it. He took one bite and spit it out. We sat there waiting forever just to tell someone because no server ever checked back. Eventually another employee dropped off the missing bagel and immediately ran off again. My husband finally had to walk inside himself to tell them the food was cold and undercooked. A few minutes later they brought the same plate back out, clearly just microwaved. The eggs were now rubber, the hash was still awful, and the potatoes were still terrible. He went back inside a second time and told them to forget it and just charge us for the bagel, coffee, and my breakfast. Even getting the check took another 20 minutes. What's most frustrating is that nobody seemed to care. No apology, no urgency, no effort to fix anything properly. My breakfast was mediocre at best. The eggs and bacon were fine, but the French toast was cold and looked like plain toast, and they covered the potatoes in cheese without mentioning it. After reading other recent reviews, it's clear this wasn't just a one-off bad day. The common theme seems to be cold food, long waits, inattentive service, and management/staff who simply don't care. This place is overpriced, overrated, and unfortunately living off its past reputation. Maybe just stick with bagels.
