One of the employees was on his phone the entire time and when I asked him if i could order, he said, "oh I'm sorry, I'm on break." Just rude. About 10 min later, they call for their drinks (still don't have mine). Mine came a few min after theirs. It's Starbucks and either you like their coffee or you don't. I am not really a fan of Starbucks but I do frequent this particular Starbucks because it is really close to where I live. My review is about the service, which I have found to be consistently friendly, prompt, and courteous. I haven't been there during the rush hours so maybe the service isn't quite as good as what I have always experienced...at least judging from some of the reviews, but I have never-not once- experienced the service some reviewers complain of. read more

This starbucks is the worst! It's unfortunate they are the only one in the area with a drive thru. They are always slow, constantly out of ingredients for drinks and forget items I request as part of my order. I moved from lakeway where the starbucks was always fast and made my drinks perfect. Here they have several employees walking around while one person takes orders and makes drinks. I recently visited and waited 12 minutes for a drink in the drive Thu and they forgot my pelligrino AND swiped my card THEN told me they were out of croissants. I'm updating my review because they have gotten a lot faster. There are still some mornings when the drive thru line is out to the frontage road, so I just skip it on those days. But, if there are just a few cars, I can usually get through the line, get my coffee, and head into Austin in 5-10 minutes. This used to be one of the best Starbucks drive thru. About two weeks ago we went there an hour before a movie and was in the line for over 45 minutes for two drinks. When we get to the front of the line and pay the barista walks away and about 5 minutes later another barista peeks out and ask us if we were waiting for drinks. We confusedly said yes and told her our two drinks again. Another 10 minutes go by and we get our grande and mini drink and almost miss the beginning of the movie. Thankfully it's assigned seats and we bought our tickets ahead of time. This morning I give them another chance and they give me someone else's order and I had to drive back around to get my correct order. I hope they get back to the Starbucks it used to be. read more

I'll start with the good, it's located right next to my hotel, (I stay here almost every week), it's pretty clean inside, and they usually have a few blends available for fresh brew coffee, (most locations I've been to only have one or two blends available). Now the bad, takes forever to get served, when I did get served, I didn't know it. She placed my oatmeal on the counter in a bag, (I ordered to eat here, NOT to go), and didn't even call my name. I was sitting here, waiting for my name, nope, never called. Also, workers are real loud at this location. Always playing around and laughing loudly and almost, (note I said almost), have a yelling tone. I usually go to Starbucks to relax as I'm sure most do, get some work done in peace, but not at this location. Drive thru seems to not move at all. All in all, not a very good location. Management may want to look into customer reviews as I'm sure they'll find the scores to be low. read more

I usually always stop at this location on my way into work when I'm running late and didn't have my morning coffee. This is probably my favorite Starbucks. Maybe I'm saying that because I work near here and go here about 3 times a week. The staff is always very bright and friendly. I saw a blind taste testing review from some source saying McDonald's coffee was the best and Starbucks was one of the one's reviewed. That is total bullshit! I hate this is the closest starbucks to me and it is honestly the worst one between san marcos outlets to southpark meadows in south austin. They have gotten a little faster on their drive thru but now their customer service and overall attitudes suck. I don't like Megan or the girl with black short hair. They are quick to call you a liar when they forget to do something or just don't do it. I think I'm going to start leaving earlier and going to kyle before work because there is no drive thru but at least they make my drinks right and are friendly. Stopped by here to get a coffee- tall Pikes Place. Every time I go to a Starbucks drive-thru , I ask them to leave room for cream and ask for a little half & half in a separate cup (because I like to add the amount I want). Every other location has done this without any problems. This location charged me an extra 60 cents just for an inch of half & half, which I would have added inside the store for free. What the heck? The next day I stopped by again, but made sure I asked for the cream after I had paid. Both times, the girls were not the least bit friendly. Glad I was just in town for travel, and won't have to stop by this location again. read more

Don't be fooled into thinking this is just a drive-thru Starbucks. Being next to the highway, I'm sure that was the focus, but you will truly enjoy hanging out inside the cafe, as the staff is always super friendly and cheerful. Horrible drive through service today at 3:25! The guy taking the orders came across frustrated while taking the orders did not like it when asked questions. We stopped here on our way to San Antonio to visit friends. I had low blood sugar and needed a snack. Their payment systems were down so weren't able to process payment, but the manager got me a snack and then put it on his tab. I've always liked Starbucks but this is above and beyond. This Starbucks has taken a great turn and has become a great location to visit. The employee's are helpful and care. The worse Starbucks. The wait is forever and they don't even acknowlege the customers. Whether it's 5:30 am or 5:30 pm or nobody is at the drive-thru, the wait is always the same-Slow.
