I've I've been loyal to this location for about a year now and I really appreciate the team at this one! They are fast and I have never had a mistake with my orders. They also have the cutest drive-thru window full of Polaroids of pups in line for their pup cups! My pup is up there somewhere! Ps. This location has significant supply problems. They are often out of many things. I order daily. I try to customize my drinks multiple ways when they are out of things, and still end up driving to Slaughter lane when they are out of: cold foam, whipped cream, AND blonde roast. Sometimes they are out of all at the same time, for prolonged periods of time. Whoever is doing the inventory/ordering here sucks. PLEASE increase your ordering. On any given day, I can flip a coin and try to guess if you'll be out of something basic or not. Not a good look. read more

Worse Starbucks location I have been to. Period. Sometimes the service is fine and the drink is fine and it's Starbucks. $6 for a coffee with overtoasted beans aside, it's a consistent product. It's what I expect. Occasionally they mess up huge. They other day I got a flat white, and for no reason at all, the added Kiwi and Starfruit chunks to it, and charged me for it! Not for the coffee. They actually charged me extra for the added gross fruit parts. I didn't notice until I had driven away and when I went back they wouldn't make it right. Another time I couldn't get a Cafe Vanilla Frap from them and they just made something else and tried to act like it was my problem. They have very good service and fast but the only thing that could be a downfall for others is that there is no internet so I you want to work on the laptop then I suggest turning on you hotspot. The drink I usually get is a iced white chocolate mocha but that all changed when I went inside the store and order and a very kind employee suggested I get an iced white chocolate mocha blonde with sweet cream cold foam! I absolutely love this location! Staff is always amazing whether I am in the drive through with my 3 loud kids in the back trying to order, or inside the lobby with my girls being crazy inside requesting 20 million things all at once, the staff is just so sweet, and amazing. They can be super busy and if I have questions the baristas will answer them. Every-once in awhile, I like to venture out and ask the barista for which drinks they would suggest, they have yet to let me down. To me a Starbucks is a Starbucks. I do not frequent coffee shops often as I am not a coffee drinker. When I do stop in it is usually because I am with a friend, it is convenient or I have a gift card. I stopped in this location due to convenience. I was literally headed to the hotel behind it to meet up with the parents and I needed a snack or something to tie me over till we went to dinner later that night. I ordered a chai tea latte, which was non-coffee and great! I also got the everything cheese bagel toasted and took it back to the hotel. I enjoyed both my chai tea latter and bagel! This bagel has actually turned me on to trying more everything type bagels. Anyway - Starbucks is Starbucks to me and I will probably never be a coffee drinker, but I like that they have some other non-coffee options for me as well. This Starbucks would be on my list of "why I am so freakin glad to be out of Buda" This has to be one of the WORST Starbucks I have ever been to. Every coffee is awful and not done right... EVERY COFFEE. I have never had one made correctly... EVER. The staff is friendly to "regulars," but if they don't know you, they do NOT know you, do not greet you and act as if you are really interfering in their day. I ventured into or at least around the drive-thru at the Starbucks in the thriving metropolis of Buda yesterday. First, they get a big score for the drive-in portion. It saves me time as I do not have to get the baby out of the car seat. There is something quite unique about this location in the attitude and the Texas friendly staff. My Starbucks encounters in the past with snobby staff made me think I was absolutely blessed to order from some 20 something year old coffee jockey ala the soup Nazi. My encounter with the Buda staff was charming and the southern twang from the nice lady at the order menu and the window was a welcome change to the gruff Austin employees. So far I've found two Starbucks that are acceptable in the greater Austin area. If I go back and find they have a changing station in the bathroom, getting that other star might be just around the bend : ) read more

If heading north on 35 take the same exit that Cabela's is on. Then stay on the service road. Otherwise you have to make a long turn around just to get there. That's just a heads up, not a complaint. We all know all Starbucks are great when it comes to quality. I am basing this review on service. Today was very frustrating waiting 24 mins in drive thru for one latte. I have seen other busy Starbucks be successful with a employee outside with a iPad taking orders to speed up the process. I have a better shot of going into south Austin to a Starbucks with out a drive thru, park, get off, order and still get my drive faster than this drive thru. This isn't my first experience with waiting times being this long. Please fix it. Your location is in a prime location for people who head into Austin. I hope something gets done soon.
