This Starbucks at Cook's Corner is understandably busy, so expect a wait! The parking lot is not as big as it seems, so be careful getting in and out. There's not a lot of seating here either; it feels like this is mostly a grab and go Starbucks (not some place you might settle into for hours like the location in Windham). My order was accurate, and when I needed help with something afterwards they were quick and patient getting the issue resolved. The bathroom was accessible and clean! Where to begin...let's just say I take pride in the fact that I'm able to change my name in the Starbucks app. I can be whoever I want to be (Shout out to Roger & Hammerstein's Cinderella. IYKYK). So far, I've been Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice. This location matched that energy and would always write on my cup little notes about the Jane Austen classic. With Raspberry returning (one of my favorite classic Starbucks syrups), a friend convinced me to change my name in the app again. This time? We went with the regal "Spazberry for Raspberry". Had a certain "Je ne sais quoi". THIS STARBUCKS UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT. Aela and Margo on Day 1, played along and made me feel special upon sliding my drink on to the hand-off plane. But on Day 2!? They welcomed me with a "Welcome Spazberry" and took it the extra mile. Might I add they made delicious drinks on top of it?! This Starbucks (Store #8837) has consistently gone the extra mile. I remember Starbucks BEFORE the drive-thrus (and wish they'd get back to more of that), where being in the cafe was about that "Third Place" experience, and baristas had enough time and staff to be able to connect and interact with their customers on a deeper level. Shout out to Aela, Margo, Blue, Micah, and Leona. Wonderful baristas. I highly recommend you stop in the store and spend some time experiencing the community and atmosphere. I know drive-thru is convenient. But slowing down, being present, and having fun with this local Starbucks, MAY just be what your week, month, year, needs. The reason was incoherently explained to me by an employee who clearly doesn't even understand the rule. Today was the day (officially) that the new Kiwi Starfruit refresher dropped. My daughter and I, being HUGE Harry Styles fans...rolled up to the drive thru blasting his song "Kiwi" and ordered these drinks. A very pleasant voice from the speaker box said they did in fact offer this drink now! Yesss! So exciting! I'm gunna pay for this! The young lady at the window, with strawberry blonde hair, was super sweet and spoke with us about the flavors in this new drink. She told us it tastes a little bit more like a green apple Jolly Rancher. My favorite one! So this of course, made me happy. These drinks were awesome. A little tart. Very cool and refreshing. I'm kinda into it! We continued on to park in the parking lot and filmed a video for TikTok, with our Kiwi drinks. read more

Worst Starbucks ever. I drink a LOT of coffee from Starbucks, all over the East Coast, and this place is hands down the worst. First- even with three cars in front of you you can wait 25 minutes for coffee. There is absolutely no reason for this. Second, they can never get your coffee right. This is my fourth time here, and every single time I have had to have them either remake it, or when I get to Topsham I have them remake it. Today, they remade it three times for me.They must handle more " your next one is on us" cards than any Starbucks. The only reason I gave them 2 stars, is because the barista, was handing out cards to everybody waiting in line. They really need to get this place up to The standards that Starbucks has. Waiting 45 minutes to get a coffee that's still not correct, it is not OK. read more

It's Starbucks, they have all the standard Starbucks stuff. I have never reviewed a Starbucks because it's just always the same for me. Nice staff, good coffee. However, this particular Starbucks needs a little feedback. First, fix the drive through, it's riddled with potholes. Second, it is seriously the slowest Starbucks Drive Thru ever. I've been to A LOT of Starbucks all over the country and never experienced anything like this. I have no idea what goes on in there but it's become a running joke, we can't stop for coffee there unless we have at least 15-20 extra minutes. Very disappointed is an understatement. I placed my order 10 minutes before I got there when I walked in my drink is ready great. Of Course my drink is a frozen drink and I ordered food to go with that drink. 10 minutes later after asking twice for my food it's still not ready. Tell the girl behind the counter I'm gonna go put my drink in my car I'll be right back. Walk back in wait another five minutes the girl looks at me and goes oh you came back they didn't make your food yet I will have them make it now. At which point I said if you can't for fill mobile orders in a timely fashion you shouldn't take them and walked out. Went back out to my car brought my drink back and placed it down on the counter and walked out. I understand Covid I understand short staffed I understand all of it. But to this location and to its management team if you can't fulfill orders that you take on the mobile app turn the mobile app ordering off just like you done in the past. For my own sanity I will not be returning to the store I will try the other stores I just can't deal with people who don't take care of their customers and who in my view don't provide enough staff to take care of their own people. Again in my view this particular store is short staffed and not treating their customers or their staff correctly again my view. All the "hipster," perfect little boutique coffee shops that you're always raving about, while their coffee might be the bomb, always make me feel like they'd prefer I'd go somewhere else. I guess I don't have the cool, literati frames, or the rock star look. I love the baristas at the Cook's Corner Starbucks; they are always so happy and cheery and I find that when I'm there, and spending a few minutes on my netbook, it does feel like that "third place" that Ray Oldenburg coined back in 1991. I know, droppin' some knowledge on you, young 'uns. Look it up on Wikipedia. Starbucks delivers a good, robust blend of coffee. I like their dark roast for my second cup and if I'm starting my day, Pike Place is my choice. So don't get all holier than thou on me, hipster friend. I'll give your boho, boutique shops another try (and review), just go easy on my penchant for the Starbucks. read more

I bought a pound the Kenyan blend and it was delicious, overall pike place is my FAVORITE though! Highly recommend every go to this Starbucks. The people are always so friendly! Ordered two caramel frappes and a very berry hibiscus refresher at drive thru. Guy handed me a strawberry acai. No apology offered while we waited for them to correct the order. No straws given for the frozen drinks, which were watery by the time we finally got the straws. Very poor customer service. Will take business elsewhere. read more
