The Starbucks in the Plaza in always feels chaotic despite its large storefront. There's a constant sense of panic behind the counter, with employees scrambling to keep their heads above water. This hectic pace shows in the drinks--beverages are never consistent, and the only real consistency is that they don't taste like they do at ALL other Starbucks locations. The food isn't much better, especially when you watch a frustrated barista shuffle it in and out of the dirty microwave, which makes it even less appetizing. If you're not a regular, don't expect much in the way of friendliness or warmth from the staff. While the location might be convenient, the overall atmosphere and quality leave a lot to be desired. Went through the drive thru on Friday evening at 8pm. Closes at 9pm. No line at all. I ordered a large iced chai tea with Oleato foam for the top. Was informed that they were out of large cups so it would be in two different sizes. Fine no problem. Well.. when I got my drink it was 25% iced chai with 75% Oleato foam. No second one. I really thought it was a joke. I pointed it out to the barrista. She snatched it from me and tossed the drink, offering to make a new one. Within minutes, she presented a new one that was still 50% of each, chai tea and foam. At that point, I was so annoyed that I drove off after paying for it. Won't be back to that location. read more

This is one of a few different Starbucks locations that I can quickly visit when I'm ready for a caffeine boost. This particular spot is near a medical office that I used to visit, so it became a go-to when I needed a pick-me-up as I continued on from my appointment through the rest of my day. Usually I would pick my orders up in the store, although I've used the drive-thru a couple of times since the 2020 Plague arrived. Pre-COVID, the staff here were always very nice - and Post-COVID, that's still true. I give them a lot of credit for being able to bring a smile to work, especially given the challenges of 2020. Not only is this team nice, but they're always working hard! This has always been a busy location, although this year threw them a curveball when they were temporarily only taking drive-thru orders. They did a great job whenever I visited, and juggled mobile orders (like mine) along with anyone who entered the queue without placing a pickup request. It took a while to get through the line, but I mean, that's hardly the team's fault, and they were working hard to keep everything moving. But not at the detriment of a customer; I myself waited a minute or two after getting at the window because they waited to make my order, so it wouldn't get cold while the line of cars made its way through. Fine by me! There was only one time (pre-2020) that I wasn't thrilled with my visit and that was more because the situation created a minor inconvenience for me than anything else. Something I had ordered through mobile wasn't actually available, so I spent a fair bit of time just getting a refund for a breakfast sandwich. It got weirdly complicated since I placed the order on mobile but I had paid with a gift card, so I think instead of adding the money back to my mobile app they actually needed to give me cash. It was a weird system and the team and I just had to navigate through it. The staff eventually got the matter squared away and I was off, but I admit, I haven't ordered food from this location again since that happened. Well, even if I never try to order a breakfast sandwich from this particular Starbucks, this location and this team has an overall great track record and I still always leave with a smile on my life. A good, clean, standard Starbucks. I like to stop in whenever I have some time after work or after shopping in Bridgeville. Everyone there is always super friendly and the drinks are consistent in quality. There isn't a ton of seating inside, although I've never had a problem getting a spot. It seems many of the customers opt for the drive through rather than sit down inside. In any case, the inside is always clean and comfortable. My coworkers and I order coffee/tea from this location fairly often. I have always found Starbucks to be overpriced for the product you receive. And it seems like the small continues to get smaller in size but the price remains the same. Recently I have been trying a variety of teas - pineapple black tea, peach citrus white tea, and strawberry green tea. If I did not have coworkers that used the app, I would have no idea the amount of sugar that is pumped into these items. They sound healthy and refreshing, BUT there are typically 4 (YES FOUR) pumps of liquid sugar added!! This is so deceiving as that is not listed on the menu. My go to used to be chai latte however I have steered away due to sugar and carb content. Every now and then I will order one with half the amount of syrup and almond milk but that just raises the price and at that point, I can make it at home for much less. read more

This is a great Starbucks location. However, in the mornings and some times during the day it is incredibly busy. I have seen the lines wrap around the parking lot. There is a school right up the street, and during school days, the line is extremely long in the mornings and the afternoon once school lets out. While this is not the staff's fault, and they do a good job at making the line go quickly, it seems extreme to wait 15+ minutes in a drive-thru for a coffee. The drinks are always made correctly. I love this little Starbucks at the very end of the strip mall it's located, in Collier. It has a drive through, and gets extremely busy at 8am and 230 pm when the moms drop the students off at CV HS located right next door. Great baristas here, Shelly whom always has a smile on her face, Dan who will always talk Penguins hockey, Candice who is just so friendly, and all the rest. This might be the best Starbucks in town. As for the fare, typical Starbucks, hot and cold tea and coffee drinks, display case filled with coffee cakes, doughnuts, cookies, and that extremely addicting lemon loaf. read more

Another generic Starbucks in another generic suburban location. This one, however, has a gigantic drive thru, as in King Kong sized, which makes it rather interesting. I don't live in the area and I only ended up here because my tour of the inner suburbs of Pittsburgh went wild and before I knew it I was loose in the exurbs yearnin for some city and some restroom. I tried the new maple pecan drink but I can't have caffeine (and because of two previous instances at this location where they gave me a caffeinated drink when I requested decaf) so I ordered the steamer. It was pretty bland. Until I got to my last sip which was ALL sugar. I almost got sick and still feel very sick almost an hour later... so they obviously didn't stir the drink at all. It's a pretty small Starbucks with a gigantic drive thru, which is a bonus. While waiting for my drink I noticed the staff working at the window can see the person ordering (clear & close) so don't be that guy picking your nose!
