I've been here a few times for work in the area. Plenty of parking if you are willing to walk, outdoor and indoor seating available. It can be a little chaotic in the parking lot because of all the nearby businesses. They prepared a work pastry bag for me and it was perfect. Thank you Starbucks for your consistency! read more

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The management needs to be replaced! The place is filthy and all the trash cans were overflowing! Tables were filthy and needed to be wiped down. Trash all over floor. The bathrooms were nasty to the point I walked out. Toilet paper and paper towels were both empty. It took 25 min to get my coffee. It's very busy and they have the opportunity to make it a great experience however Managment is obviously oblivious to all the details that go into running a business. read more

Honestly one of the worst Starbucks I've been to. Understand the wait of Starbucks but it was over 45 min just to order. On top of waiting forever they were out of two different lunch options that was listed as had on the website. So I choose not to get lunch and just get coffee. Then they had incorrectly made my order. When I went back to get it fixed they just took my drink and added one thing and handed it back to me. They said they were going to remake it but did not during times of COVID. Worst part is the head manger was okay with the whole thing. read more

I asked for a "Vanilla Iced coffee" which is clearly on the menu (see picture). The girl seemed new so asked someone else how to ring it in. This person didn't understand what an iced coffee was and decided the closest thing was a vanilla frappucino. It's not that difficult (says the former Starbucks employee). Sat in the drive through for nearly ten minutes with maybe three cars in front of me. I counted at least six people behind the counter while waiting at the window. It shouldn't take this long, and I'd hate to be stuck in the ridiculous line at rush hour. Is there a rush hour in Brenham? On top of waiting for my $4.82 grande drink, they were out of what I'd come for - the much posted about cold cream pumpkin shit. Would I like to sub iced coffee? I ordered an item that is no longer sold by it's name, but it can be built. It's one of two things that I order at Starbucks, so I know how it should taste and look. I don't know what they gave me, but it was all the way wrong! The drink has two separate layers and it's pretty dark after it's mixed. And it does not have a vanilla flavor. The drink I received was very light and tasted like vanilla. I started drinking it after I left, so I wasn't able to return to get the drink made again. The drink was so terrible that I poured it out after drinking less than half. If they weren't sure what I wanted, it would've been a good idea to ask or tell me that they couldn't make it. I went to the drive through today and ordered a medium Blonde Americano. The line was kinda long so it took me a little while to reach the window to pay for my coffee. When I got to the window the young lady to me that the person in front of me paid for my coffee. She said for the last 20 cars that have been through the person ahead has paid for the person behind. She gave me the choice of taking my free coffee or continue the chain and pay for the one behind. Even though it cost me an extra 2 bucks I didn't want to be the one to break the chain and thought what a great way to start a new day by paying it forward! read more

I like Starbucks, its no Intelligentsia, but in my mind that isn't who they are competing against. Starbucks is Chili's of coffee shops. You should expect a very similar experience at each one. I felt that the entire staff was cold and distant. They weren't very friendly and could no one at the coffee bar made eye contact, even when handing me my drinks!? The whole time I was there (about 45 minutes, stretching legs, getting a snack, letting the baby take a break from the car on our quick trip from Austin to Houston). The entire time there was a spilled coffee at the condiments bar creating a moat around the bar. As we were leaving someone came to clean it up. Also, right next to the door on our way out was one of the works smoking. Yuck. I'm not sure if its just in Los Angeles... but I really like the no smoking within 25ft of the entrance to a food-related business. But an employee should know better. read more

HAD TO SHARE! I live here locally. I left my job during my break to run to the bank. Afterwards I stopped by Starbucks for breakfast and a coffee. As soon as I drove to the window I realized I left my purse at my desk at work. Feeling embarrassed I explained the situation and ask them if they happen to take a check. They don't take checks but told me not to worry about it and they still gave me my order. My order came to $10.50 I promised promised I would be back during my lunch break to pay. I just thought that was so nice of them. I hope whoever else happens to forget their wallet still goes back and pay. They didn't have to give me my order but they did. Great job starbucks. The problem is not with the staff - they were working hard as they could. Just not nearly enough staff for the load. Painfully slow service. It is not uncommon for orders to take 25-35 minutes. Inexplicable. Unacceptable. Often customers give up and ask for a refund (and get it) because it took too long to get their order. If you need quick coffee on Hwy 290 go to McD's instead or better yet take 5 mins and go downtown to Park Street Cafe for nice ambience, great coffee, lower prices. The only reason I'm giving this Sbux 2 stars instead of 1 is the quality usually is good and the employees are polite, although extremely stressed out. read more

As a frequent Starbucks customer, especially in the city of Houston where I commute daily for work...I am most often highly impressed with the training, professionalism, courtesy, efficiency, and customer service of most every Starbucks I go to. Not true at all for this location in Brenham. Especially the older gentleman (should definitely know better with supposed age/experience) that was working the drive-thru on September 4th, 2021 at 3:30pm to 4pm. After sitting in the drive-thru WAY past (20 minutes) my Starbucks APP projected pickup time of 3:38pm...I patiently did not mention my wait and just kindly asked for my mobile order under my "name". The aforementioned man working the window snapped at me that "you didn't notify us at the box?" I said, "No sir, in town (Houston) they allow/sometimes prefer I just roll to the window and ask for my order especially because my truck is loud and it has never been an issue." His response was, "You NEED to be SURE next time you always be sure to notify at the box!" This was said very rudely. I have never been told there was a specific rule to this app ordering but I have never had an issue and most certainly never been snapped at (as a paying customer who just sat 20 minutes past pickup time without complaining) as rudely as this man did. I'm open to criticism and being instructed if there is some Starbucks rule on how you pick up your order but this man's customer service was all off. Based on the wait time and his attitude...looks like this particular store is not up to par which is surprising...being in the country and not even used to the extreme traffic and pressure of the big city. I go to Starbucks just about every morning. The staff are wonderful. They always know what I want when I pull up to the screen. They are very cheerful and polite. It helps to start the day off like that. Sometimes the lines are long but we are a small town and there are no other Starbucks for miles. That is not there fault. I have worked in the food industry for 6 years and I understand that customers can sometimes make things difficult. When ordering my drink, rain started pouring down into my car and I could no longer hear the person assisting me. I pulled up to the window in hopes of finishing my order and the window attendant was NOT happy about it. I understood that I had made an obstacle for the staff member and had not realized it would be so difficult. I apologized and agreed to take the portion of my order that they had received. I always try my hardest to be kind to those in the service industry as I know how awful customers can occasionally make you feel, but this morning I experienced the opposite... the staff was incredibly harsh stating "I am getting very wet too" and made me feel dumb for pulling up, even after I said I was okay not getting a drink. I understand that everyone has bad days, but I don't believe it to be an excuse to be rude to those who are being kind to you. **STARBUCKS** Why would you put your staff in such a complicated position? Obviously I am not the first person to have made this mistake. Why have you not chosen to purchase a covering for the drive thru? It's the only Starbucks in Brenham. You have to expect it to be slow. I stay in the line maybe 30 minutes at a time, but at the end it's always worth it. Don't come to this location if you're not patient because the line is almost always long. Let's hope we get another Starbucks! Also, the servers are always nice and respectful. Remember! This is by far the worst customer service I have EVER received at a Starbucks and I have bought their coffee all over the country. We went through the drive thru and we're greater with, "Give me a minute" and that was it. Once were we able to place our prefer and we got to the window we paid and were immediately asked to, "pull up, please" with no further instruction. We pulled up and a few minutes later a hyper woman (presumably the one that came over the speaker at the beginning with "Give me a minute") handed my partner my coffee and said, "here's your flat white" and while handing her her coffee she said, "and here's the other one." Since we aren't from here and we are just traveling, it isn't likely we would come back soon anyway, but I'm leaving this review as a warning for others and in hopes the manager or the employees themselves see it and take corrective action. read more

Traveling from Austin to Houston stopped at Starbucks for a 'Very Berry Hibiscus' drink. I'm not a coffee drinker so this is the only reason I come to Starbucks. Unfortunately the this was the worst drink I have paid for. First of all, I only received about 3/4 of drink. The barista must of told the cashier to make it and I don't think she knew how to make it. The only ingredients in the drink was water, ice and a lots of berries. I didn't taste it until I drove off so I couldn't take it back. If the drive thru cashier didn't know how to make the drink then she should have asked someone!
