This is my go to Starbucks. I've recently (last 6 months) made the switch from DD to Starbucks. I haven't made the full transition as I'll still drink DD from time to time but I much prefer Starbucks now. I mainly do iced coffee, no syrup, just black. I use mobile ordering so my order is ready for me when I get there. I'd highly recommend Starbucks mobile ordering as it takes entirely too long if you order in the store. I'm also a huge fan of the Egg Bites. Give them a shot if you are looking for something for breakfast. This particular store is always very clean and the employees are helpful. Absolutely no complaints from me there. The parking lot can be a little hectic so be aware of that. read more

I am a student at Raritan valley community college that was very excited to try this starbucks right next to my school. I had high hopes it would be like the ones in flemington but I was very disappointed. I waited 5 minutes at the register while employees were talking to eachother laughing and drinking starbucks rather then helping me. After the wait I ordered and it costed more then usual but I was like okay maybe its because of the location. When my drink came out after 8 minutes of waiting the nitro cold brew was completely flat. I also asked for 2 pumps of vanilla which I did not taste in it. This place is always a go to due to their proximity to the county college. I went there yesterday to get a caramel latte and receive the free reusable winter themed cup. Service was fast and the drink came out nice but I took off one star due to some of the staff being unfriendly. Even though I had no problems yesterday there have been times where I give my order to the cashier and they role their eyes at me or give me a big sigh. Overall can't complain about this location. 11-9-2023 ~7:45AM visit: I am in town for a business trip. Decided to swing by Starbucks for my colleague. I don't frequent Starbucks very often but figured I'd grab a bite to eat for breakfast and a coffee since I was already there. I asked for a coffee and the cashier asked if I wanted anything in it. I looked over the counter to see if the creamers were available for self pour. Before I could even speak, the cashier in the mask cuts me off and just says "we don't have that". Have what? I didn't even get to say anything. So I grabbed my coffee black. They Didn't even get my name so when my breakfast sandwich was ready I had no clue which was mine as others were waiting for their order. The cashier was sure pleasant to my colleague in front of me though. Sorry if I don't know my Starbucks coffee drinks Felt unwelcome and felt the cashier was rude and impatient. I don't expect to be catered hand feet but at least let me order my damn coffee the way I want it. Rather drive and spend my money at local small coffee shops. The ordering staff took our order in a very small amount of time, which was fantastic. But when we received our drinks there was a distinct difference in taste between the two and my girlfriend and I got the same drink. We ordered food and never received it. All of the frozen food was laying out and no one had unwrapped it to heat it up so we ended up getting a refund after wasting 15 minutes waiting for food that was never cooked. We have no plan on coming back and would rather drive to the Somerville Starbucks just to avoid the service here. read more

I went in this Starbucks about 7 pm a few months ago, and when I ordered the dark roast of the day was told that they can only make me a Pike Place flavor (which is their standard variety that tastes like 7-11 coffee) past some time in the afternoon. Take it or leave it, I was told. I replied back that I had gotten a dark roast there before a couple of months earlier in the evening, and the barista (if that is that is an appropriate name?) insisted that they did not have anything but Pike Place after the afternoon cutoff time, despite my having bought coffee in the evening there. I haven't been back. There are just some people that shouldn't be employed, and I ran into one of them. read more

Fast service. Friendly baristas and they make good tasting lattes. Been to so many STARBUCKS in my life and it's always a hit or miss on most places. This place makes it right. This place produces generally the same quality as all others. They have had new people recently and it has been very slow. I suggest either another location or only stopping here when you have a lot of time to waste. Made my mobile order today at 2:36pm and it said 4-8 minutes. Litterally waited for 20 minutes after getting there for my drink. Completed at 2:51pm. Litterally 25 minutes. Managing lady is really good here. All my long waits have been due to a newer employee name Tyler. I am not the kind of person to nitpick but he doesn't rush at all no matter how many people are waiting and have been late to 2 vlasses because it takes him so long. I like this Starbucks because it has outside seating and on really nice days, who doesn't want to sit outside and enjoy their iced coffees? I don't think this one is as busy as Whitehouse Station, but I don't frequent this one as much. Very friendly staff who make a good cup of iced coffee. I like this one better than the Bridgewater one, so if you pass that one by accident and keep going down Rt. 22 then eventually you can go to this one! It's right near the big ShopRite. read more

Horrible service today. There are two males that worked there tonight, Monday, at 7:45. The younger one that was very skinny was extremely rude. I assume he was upset I got there at 7:45. I asked if it was too late and he looked at the clock, but said no. I would of happily have left. Wouldn't even say hello, I said thank you - didn't answer me. Took my order, informed me they didn't have syrup - told him just switch the syrup and I'm sure it will be fine. Made the wrong drink on the second one I ordered - didn't apologize , but was annoyed. The other worker happily made it and asked what tea I wanted , etc. the other one did not even give me an option. The employee went to make my drink , threw it on the counter, and wouldn't say a word. I said thank you, but he turned away. Surprise - made me the wrong drink. Takes a lot for me to write a review - but having no personality skills and being extremely rude doesn't work for me. He looked like he was being tortured for working there read more
