This is a very busy Starbucks. Barista and servers are very attentive and efficient. Starbucks coffee is always good and for the most part, the atmosphere is good (although a little loud sometimes). I finally used up my Starbucks card balance. I was waiting to do so in order to not visit a Starbucks again as was suggested by a Starbucks executive who stated that if you believed in traditional marriage between a man and a women, that you are not welcome at Starbucks. Well, I believe in traditional marriage between a man and a women, otherwise how is the planet to survive and populate! When you think a Starbucks you think of fast friendly service. At this location, there were six people working. I ordered a coffee with steamed milk and an ice water. The staff was busier, talking and cutting up then taking care of customers. Almost every time I come in here to pick up DoorDash im ignored for 10 minutes, even though I stand in front of the pick up counter. Yet the ones that stand on the other side of the pick up counter get helped instantly. I don't have this issue at other locations I pick up from. I guess only their peripheral works. read more

The drive-thru is extremely slow, and the staff inside often seem irritated. Unfortunately, due to the limited number of locations, this is our only option. It feels like they take advantage of that, as there haven't been any noticeable efforts to improve customer service. Terrible they charge me extra for stuff that I didn't even get they didn't even give me a paper towel or a tissue to eat with my food. They close whenever whomever is working wants to close, sometimes 30min to an hour before closing, It takes forever to get served, it's dirty most of the time with full garbage bags laying in the middle of the floor with chairs stacked up on the table an hour before closing time so that you can't sit down and they are out of things more often than not!! I have gone to this location since I moved here in 2015. The staff is always very friendly. The reviews that complain about long lines are failing to remember that this is the last Starbucks heading west until you hit El Paso. Unless you want to drive 7 miles off the freeway in Kerrville. This location is always slammed busy. The parking and location is tough trying to serve the growing town of Boerne and the drive through traffic on I-10. I strongly recommend mobile order read more

If you want a good Starbucks to go to, this is the one. Me and somewon else was going through the drive through and I had a coupon for a free hot cocoa. We didn't know if it was for a specific hot cocoa and size so we ordered a grande toasted white cocoa. We drove to the window and she gave us our drinks. I showed her the coupon but it wouldn't work. This is by far the slowest Starbucks I've ever been too. (I work contract positions in the healthcare so I've literally been all over). I'm not just reviewing for a few times, but for over 4 times a week their turn around time to get orders out is the absolute worst! The employees never get in hurry, always on their phones, standing around, joking and chatting with one another instead of getting the orders prepared in a timely matter. I gave up ordering via drive-thru because most of the times I'd be sitting there we'll over 10 mins. So instead I started ordering 5-10 mins ahead with the mobile app. Last 3 times I have arrived to pick up my drink they still hadn't even started! Once the guy was said "oh sorry we didn't realize we had a mobile order come through" while he continued to laugh and joke about Star Trek to another employee, not to mention there was not a single customer there during the time I pulled up. I took my daughter to this Starbucks with her 3 friends to celebrate her birthday before Dickens on Main. We were the only customers in the store. I pulled up some funny Snapchat filters on my phone and the girls and I started laughing and having fun. I didn't think much about it since it was just us. Then CHRIS very RUDELY told us to keep it down and shook his head in disgust because we were all laughing. He wouldn't give me eye contact after that and gave no explanation as to why. Boerne Starbucks is by far the worst location I've ever been to. I'm a coffee drinker and travel like crazy for my business. The manager here is very unprofessional. They never ever answer their phone, they close on cold days and my 3 teen daughters applied there because they told us at the window they REALLY needed more staff. They applied and a week goes by we stop by Starbucks and see the manager and he says "oh I haven't even looked at any applications at all". Whoever owns this location needs to seriously rethink their staff. The location is also horrible to get to. You have to make a turn around in traffic and then go back to their entrance. Please be more professional in Boerne and get it together. I own several businesses and would never allow this. read more
