Yelpers say this business is closed, well it is not, since I just got my coffee on July 26, 2022

    The student rush.

Typical Starbucks and service. Cute kids run the store! Many students "camp out" with their Apple's. Seating is at a premium. FYI... Don't go when they're overwhelmed. Service suffers greatly. Seating's hard to get. Guaranteed to wait 20 mins. minimum. Plus they screw up the rewards transactions. For some reason, 11 AM there's a mad I.U. student break rush. The drink was good. The hot Americano. No room means it's gonna overflow. Holy cow, kids! Think kids, think!

This is possibly the most popular Starbucks in Bloomington, and for good reason. The ambiance of the historic location as well as the nice mix of students, townspeople, university staff and faculty make it a unique experience. The location is full of windows that affords great opportunities for people watching. In warmer seasons, outdoor seating is especially pleasant. The staff are usually friendly and efficient and the coffee good (perhaps it's because Starbucks offers employees health benefits so they have reason to smile.) I've noticed there's not much turnover in staffing, with many familiar faces working throughout their undergraduate years at Indiana University. A favorite spot to read the paper or study, it is free of the annoying hipster vibe of local shops.

I didn't even touch it yet. Cheers to getting half of what you paid for

Service (and therefore what you get) is hit or miss. Sometimes I get what I paid for and other times, I get half of that. Such is life of a customer of a Starbucks run by students

Good coffee, hey it's Starbucks! Only problem I saw is very busy and only.open until midnight. They advertise online 24 hours.

There are grasshoppers in their pumpkin bread and they take too long to serve you. The coffee is so hot when given to you

Do not commit to the drive thru unless you have 25+ minutes to wait (and there is no way to bail from the queue)

Nice college spot. It's still a Starbucks but off a nice street near by some shopping and restaurants and main spots on campus.

On this particular outing a friend was eager to take my husband and I to his favorite coffee shop in his hometown of Bloomington, ID. Hopscotch Coffee & Kitchen sits right in along the Bloomington Rail Trail. The setting of the cafe is calm, inviting, and simple. A large porch welcomes you to the shop; it's obviously a local favorite. When you enter the shop the coffee bar is to the right, comfortable couch seating along with work tables and cafe tables are to the left. If you want something more than a coffee and a treat there is a restaurant towards the back on your left. The cortado was delicious and the company was priceless. I hope you're able to share a cortado with someone soon. It's a good way to turn something ordinary into something special. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Definitely the college vibe of the decade, no one talks and has their faces on a Saturday planted in the computer. If not being socially inclined just sit in the dorm/apartment. The sweets were pricey but tasty. You can sit on the porch, inside or get out of there (never liked tolerated but liked a place so much as this spot). The cashier was swamped, asked about her having help, which I was told she was cleaning (4p), but she finally slithered over to help get orders rolling.

First time at this Crumble Coffee, but I love the other two. Same good experience here…read more I got a tomato red pepper danish, a piece of blueberry almond cake, and a summer garden tea (seasonal green tea with fruit syrup) The danish was actually my second choice after I found out they were out of the galette I wanted, but I actually liked the danish a lot and was glad it was what I ended up with. The pastry was great, with nice layers but not overly flaky for my taste like a lot of danishes; it had a nice tenderness to it. The filling was delicious, like a cheesy roasted red pepper dip baked into a danish. The cake was also great, not too sweet and very aesthetically pleasing too. The tea was really nice, with the fruit flavors balanced with the green tea. The shop is very cute and felt welcoming. There's a lot of outdoor seating. They have some local art prints for sale and there's even a printer for customer use. The baristas were friendly.

I ordered the cookie with the apples and crumbles on it. I assume the apple strudel cookie. It's very good. I also ordered milk. The lady didn't told me that they didn't have milk, but then a display showed that they did have milk so she had to go look for it and finally found it. It's really a unusual Customerservice experience as the employees aren't that friendly and don't seem very hospitable and welcoming.
