I don't usually come to this location but I was running some errands and happened to be in the area. The people at this location really care! The staff is professional and so so kind. I had a young man help me out and he was more than accommodating! I had a very complicated order for my boss and a few of my coworkers and not only was he patient, he has such a fun sense of humor! He smiled as he made my drink and had no problem making ALL of my orders correctly, all while making me (a quite grumpy overworked middle aged woman) laugh!! DONT COME if you need a quiet or semi quiet place to work. OMG. while they're all still super sweet people and good service, the staff here are basically have a super loud party behind the counter. On mornings where there are 0-1 people at the tables, there is so much noise here, it's as loud or louder then Penn Station. Seriously. Even w ear plugs. So great! I am usually here a minimum of 3 times a week for mid-day office coffee runs. This store seems to operate efficiently and all of the staff are well-trained and personable. Today was the first time there was a mix up in my usually large order (we noticed when I got back to work). We are a short drive away so it was not a problem to go back. My boss spoke with Ricky before hand and when I arrived he was available to fix the order; he offered his apologies and was pleasant as usual. It's not the most conveniently located for me, there doesn't seem to be a place to u-turn when I try to approach the store from Hempstead Turnpike. I like to go into the store to order, but the drive thru is ok to use as well. The staff here seem not be some high schoolers who are barely old enough to drink the coffee, which is awesome, and a few of them seem to be quite knowledgeable baristas. I wish there was more seating and the outside terrace space seems so weird since its right next to the cars going into the drive thru. But overall, I haven't had bad drinks from here. read more

The staff is always friendly at this Starbucks location and I've never had any problems with my drinks or food. However, this location is freeeeezing! Everytime I go here to hangout with my laptop I have to have my coat on and I freeze. This used to be my go to Starbucks, I actually went out of my way to come here because they always made my order correct and had friendly staff. I don't know what has happened but the last few times here the staff has been rude and slow, I'm always waiting forever at this location. Also the last few times they have gotten my order wrong. Update* No one ever reached out to ask why, what, and how they could make things better over there. Management and corporate clearly do not care. I stopped going to this location, and have used the Starbucks in Levittown instead. Much better. The worst Starbucks I have no choice but to continue to use... I wish the stars above were thumbs up or thumbs down because this place would deserve 5 down. First, there is no Starbucks close enough for me to go to prior to going to work, so this is it. You pay top dollar for a Starbucks drink regardless of what it is, and you expect quality. The baristas just don't care about anything here and it's super disappointing. I use the phone app, and I order between 2-5 drinks that are pre configured on my phone. It doesn't get much easier. I hate coffee without milk, guess what happens every time I order here, I get no milk..my receipt clearly says "milk" as does the button I push to order the drink on my iPhone. What's worse is when you get the drink and you say "I ordered with milk" and the barista looks at you like you just slapped her in the face and tells you "no you didn't". I guess the black writing on the sticker attached to my drink is just optional. But wait....now you get your drink back but what did they have to do to add milk. Pour 1/4th of your drink down the drain...yea thanks for that. It's unreal. So now, you call the manager of the store and she tells you she will correct the issue. It's happened every time since. Now you take it a step further and you call the corporate office and the rep tells you the area manager will contact you and never does! That's the knee slapper here. Everyone should really consider going to this location anyway being that the Grumman plume flows right under this spot, and you are drinking right from that same water source. This is one of the busiest Starbucks on Long Island. Most people use the drive thru at this location. When the line for the drive thru gets to long, which happens often, it's time to purchase your beverage inside. It's rather small inside. Not the kind of space you can get lost in for several hours. I always come in once or twice a week to get some fraps or macchiatos with my lunch. I usually sit and eat my meals there. The people here are extremely friendly and nice. They never say anything about me eating there haha, even if I do bring a lot of food. Most drink places I go to require a purchase if I want to sit and eat food from somewhere else. This place didn't! I order drinks each time I went, but I ordered it today after I was done with my food, and they didn't mind. I really like that about this place. This is the best Starbucks EVER!! I've never been inside (always use the drive thru) but I still say it's the best. The staff is so friendly and no matter how long the drive-thru line is, it seems as if I'm never waiting. I'm always greeted by someone warm and friendly and always drive away in a good mood. There is a guy named Drew and I honestly want to get a job here so Drew can be my coworker!! My drinks are always perfect too! Usually this is my go to Place-I've been ordering my drink the same way for years.... 180° no water and today was told by the manager that it is bogus-according to her.... it is just extra hot and that the barista may tell you it's 180° when it's not! I come to this Starbucks a lot. Usually (more often than not) the crew here is knife-sharp. Except when they're not. This is true of probably all Starbucks I have ever been to, but the difference at Bethpage is particularly striking. I can count on SBux Bethpage to be moving the drive-thru along, knocking out the mobile orders, and being completely on point, except when certain crew members are on, and then the well-oiled machine comes to a crashing halt. Drive through, woot woooot. Gotta love it. Beyond the ability to stay in your car, this is a pretty standard 'bucks; good selection of snacks, friendly employees and decent wifi. The only knock here is that there are only about 5 tables to sit at and most are two tops. Did they make the interior smaller to allow for enough room for the drive-thru? Maybe. But I'd say I hit up the drive-thru more than I want to do work here, so that's a win in my book. If you're in the area and fear leaving your car, do it. read more

I live in Brooklyn but visit my boyfriend in Bethpage 1-2 times a week. I walk to this Starbucks from the LIRR. It's a great li'l place with some very friendly, quick, young baristas. The only downside is that there isn't very much seating and they have a pretty limited selection of SBUX merch. But I love the place! read more

Do NOT go through the drive thru. It's 1:00 pm., and I just got my coffee. I got on the line at 12:27. I know that because I texted my husband to see if he wanted anything. I'm sure you're wondering why I didn't get off. There's a point where you really can't get off the line, at least until people move up. And each time the cars move up, you think, hmm, maybe I'll stay on, can't be far now. Right? Wronggggggg!!! Well now I was just committed. And the kids were asleep in their car seats. I love this Starbucks location. It's just off of the 135, close to the Bethpage State Parkway & is very close to my job. This location is just behind the BP and has its own spacious parking lot. The drive thru can get pretty busy, but it's worth the wait. Even on a busy morning, I've never had an issue with my order and honestly they make my drinks MUCH better (and consistently better) than the location closer to me. It's great that they're open until 11 most nights so I can make it before I go into work at 11PM. read more

I was so disappointed with my last few experiences here. A few weeks back I ordered my usual drink at the drive through. A Green Tea Late with Coconut milk and extra shot. Not super complicated. I get up to the drive through and they go to hand me my drink iced. Its 35 degrees out why would they ever assume it was iced? I explain it wrong and they kind of get annoyed, but never asked me hot or iced to begin with. The ask me to please pull froward so they can help the next customer and they would bring it out to me. So I pull up far enough so the next car could get out when they were finished. They bring out my drink a few min later and I confirm it has coconut milk as I am allergic. He said "umm I do not think so" and I explained that is what I ordered as I am allergic to reg milk. Goes back inside and they have to make it again, all the while I am getting beeped at and dirty looks from other customers. A few days later I go back inside and ask for the manager and explain what happens. She apologies and comps my drink explaining they were training people. Ok totally understand and they hand me my drink. I get in the car take a sip and HOLY HOT I scalded my mouth so bad that to eat or drink anything over the next 2 days was painful and almost impossible. Not wanting to be a irate lunitic I go in again a few days later to explain to the manager what happened and she simply said "Oh somthing was wrong with our steamer and normal was at 160 degrees. Sorry but its fixed now". Really that it? For an organization that prides themselves on customer service this was extremely disappointing. My loyalty is wavering and I unfortunately might have to go back to Dunkin which is actually next door to my office. read more
