Great Starbucks location: adorable building with a decent amount of space and a LOT of natural light. Flow of traffic is good too (super helpful during day, a pandemic!) and not as cramped as some Starbucks. Staff are friendly and efficient. The only challenge is parking - this Starbucks is right on Wisconsin so if you're driving, it's not easy to find a place to leave your car even just to pick up a mobile order. There is a small parking lot just off the side street to the right of the store, but it's small and serviced several businesses on that stretch of Wisconsin.

Ordered bacon egg . No bacon in there . I took it back and the supposed manger said it's melted or in there and it's not as you can see it's a egg and cheese . How does bacon melt and then she said I removed it . Really why would I remove my bacon ? She didn't offer another item or refund this photo is from after I ate it. I had not bitten into it before I brought it back . I asked to speak to manager and she said I am the manager rudely . I told her I'd complain to her supervisor and she said rude to me go for it . Lousy service I will not come back ! !

Stopped in for coffee waiting to get my car services. The staff is friendly and welcoming when you walk in. I had the skinny vanilla latte with milk heated to the perfect temperature and a nice thin layer of frothy milk foam. I love the Starbucks ham and cheese croissant they recently added to the menu! It was perfectly warmed. Enjoyed the quiet music, nice ambiance, and free WiFi.

A nice Starbucks in Bethesda that you can also find some quiet areas to sit and relax. The staff was very nice and made all our drinks just fine. The atmosphere is a relaxed feeling and that may just be the positive energy from the psychic below. HAHA. Still a great place to chill and have a coffee when shopping in the area.

The service is always good but did you consider that when you carry 4 drinks, all venti, with that "amazing" new lid that is OPEN ,and you're walking, the coffee will go all over your hand and your white pants?!?!?!?!That opening is large two fingers Jesus!!!!

Just me, tea and a new novel

Thought why not both? Meter parking all around should be easy to get if not on a Sunday. Not far away from a church is why: Overall coffee is not bad, I've had better around the area, so does the matcha. I'd come back for a quick coffee stop. There are other locations that may be an actual cafe shop. I think?

Now that I've moved a bit further away from campus and no longer have a ton of time on Friday mornings, I've been feeling nostalgic about my old university favorite. So just imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon Grace Street Coffee in Bethesda! This lovely little shop is a bit different from their Georgetown counterpart -- for one, they don't have any indoor seating and consist of just a tiny little window that you can order from and a small patio you can pop a squat on when the weather is nice -- but sports the same outstanding coffee and friendly service. Their coffee is great, all roasted in their historic Georgetown spot and featuring great caramel-y, fruity undertones. And, while they have a small shop in Bethesda, it is mighty; all of the drinks are prepared with expert precision and efficiency. You might have to wait in line for a bit, since there are only two people working here and it gets pretty busy, especially during the weekends, but it's 100% worth the wait.

Awesome local coffee joint you might easily overlook…read more I've probably walked past CoffeeFi a hundred times without noticing it. It sits back a little ways off of St. Elmo St. in an unremarkable strip of stores. I have to give my friend and colleague credit for introducing me to the spot, as he called an A.M. meeting there. I'm glad he did. Is a small, but cool little space. The interior is modern and clean, a departure from the strip store vibe outside. Coffee is made to order (obviously), and it's excellent. Definitely coffee for folks who like coffee...no plethora of sickeningly sweet lattes...just a tight menu of fastballs. Solid A. I'd recommend getting there early if you want to sit and work. The place fills up quickly (which is great for the business, I suppose). Next time you're walking down St. Elmo, take the time to notice CoffeeFi, and stop in. You'll be glad you did. Maybe I'll see ya there!

I was expecting the tropical fruit flavors to shine through a little more. I was somewhat disappointed with the chicken shawarma. There were a lot of competing flavors, which made it difficult to enjoy the shawarma itself. I personally prefer a more traditional chicken shawarma where the seasoning and flavor of the chicken stand out. Overall, the experience was okay, but I found it very pricey. The smoothie and shawarma came to approximately $31, which felt expensive for what I received.

TL;DR: aesthetically pleasing, but food/pastries/drinks were a let down…read more Finally got to try maman after always wanting to try it. When you first walk in, the interior is very cutely decorated. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, as well as some communal tables. They have an extensive menu of drinks and food, including a case full of pastries. Service was fine. Coffee came out first, but then our food did not come out for ~20-25 minutes. FOOD: Pastries: Overall, the flavors were okay, but the technical components and textures were way off. ~Nutella beignet (1/5): I would not call this a beignet, but just a donut. It was dry and dense, and the Nutella filling was minimal ~Kouign maman (2.5/5): the flavor tasted normal, but it was not flaky or crisp on the outside and papery on the inside. Hard to cut into and not crumb-y ~Brown butter croissant bar (2.5/5): again, flavor tasted like brown butter with a little bit of cinnamon, but the pastry was flimsy and soggy. ~Croque maman (2/5): I assume this was a play on a croque monsieur. The cheesy crust on the top of the bread was hard as a rock and tasted burnt. The filling to bread ratio was off. There was like maybe a teaspoon of bechamel. Flavor did not deliver. ~Chicken Caesar wrap (2.5/5): It was fine, but underdressed again. There was no cheese or croutons or anything. Just chicken and lettuce and like 2 slivers of pickled onions. Additionally, for the price point and portion size, it just wasn't worth it.

Yummy coffee flight and a huge menu selection!…read more The gentleman at Baruch Cafe makes thee best espressos. The coffee flights are well worth the price. So good; I got two flights during my first visit, went back a week later to take my daughter. This will be a stop when I'm in the area or want a tasty coffee flight. My favorites in order: - Bon Bon: be sure to mix it before you drink. All the good stuff needs to be blended with a few stirs. - Honey: this reminds me more of a tea. I'd would drink this at the end of the flight which makes sense where it's placed. - Biscoff cappuccino: the cookie is a nice treats to bite and drink. My daughter ended up letting hers melt in the cappuccino which still ended up tasting good. - Pistachio: I love the tasty pistachio around the rim of the cup. A taste with each sip is yummy. - Tiramisu: this was good with the cookie. Another nice treat with each sip. - Affogato: you can't go wrong with ice cream so it hard to place this further down the line. - Nutella: it can go either way; mixed or just wast for yummy Nutella along the way as you drink. - S'mores: this was simple yet I do appreciate the marshmallows. The ham and cheese croissant was warm and filling. The chicken empanadas were delicious. Pick a cozy seat at a couch or table seat to enjoy your food and drinks. This place is highly enjoyable to have a cute breakfast, snack or drink while solo or with family or friends.
