I came in and the counter register person was extremely helpful and quick, was able to process my stars, rewards, etc. And was so pleasant. We ordered the ice banana matcha foam and it was amazing, perfectly blended and smooth. I had the honey mint tea and it was mixed well, my husband actually drank a good amount of it after he wanted just one taste. Our orders were done on the expected amount of time. They had 6-7 people working there (sorry 6/7 ha). One thing with this one is that you don't see any of the pastries on display. But great experience overall and clean store. read more

The longest wait possible, even for just two drinks. At least for drive-thru, they don't make the drinks until you get up to the window and it takes a very long time. If you're quickly stopping by on a lunch break, do NOT go in the drive thru, as this happens every single time. read more

I'm not against tipping but I would watch out for your total payments. The cashier in the drive through would tip themselves the amounts they'd like per car and will refuse to give you a receipt. A lot of cars noticed and got annoyed which will hold the line but that didn't stop the cashier continuing fraud. I don't recommend getting any ice drinks as it's 90% ice and 10% drink. read more

I frequent this place a good bit, and while I'm really grateful there is a Starbucks here, I am noticing how often they are getting orders wrong or have to ask my multiple times in line what my order was. Starbucks is a staple of our weekend. It is across town so we do not typically go during the week. This particular location gets pretty heavy traffic and the long line can get you locked into the parking lot. We typically park just outside their lot at the hotel. The lots are so close that it won't hurt to park there. If you can order ahead and go in to get your purchase, you should. The wait time given on the app has always been longer than I actually have to wait. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is shaded. Solid serve and food. The food and drinks are always good as expected, the baristas are always super friendly. Even the ambiance inside is great if a little small. I really can't find anything negative to say about this location. It's always been great when my wife wants to stop by except for the drive through which always seems to have a long line wrapping into the street. It's also Starbucks. They like to actively union bust and fire dissidents and their coffee is super expensive even for the smallest base model coffee. They are also a big chain brand that has too many locations nearby vs local coffee chains. I ordered online so husband could run in and get. All our food and coffees were warm. I thought the impossible breakfast sandwich was toasted a little too long as the ciabatta (I know it's a 'tougher' bread was hard to the tooth on top.). I did like the flavor (a bit oily) and sausage was impossible to tell plant based. The muffins were smaller than other locations. I typically get a dark roast and add foam on top. There are many improvements that need to be implemented here! Today is the last time I will go, the girl not only got my order incorrect she added in a 1.00 tip without my permission. She didn't ask or see if I added a tip in the bucket. several occasions they forget the syrup but charge me, they also do no make fresh coffee enough. The staff is friendly the place looks nice, but it is chaos , the drive thru has a long a$$ line at 1130 on a Sunday and then when you go inside the place is a mess . The lobby has trash on the tables and floor and the counters look like they haven't been cleaned for a few days. I do enjoy coming here, I do hate that it can be pricey but that's not their fault. The line can get a little backed up at times so try to order ahead online if you can. Overall though I still give it 5 stars because they have always been wonderful, the staff, food, drinks, and service. Absolutely LOVE this Starbucks location...It's super intimate and lowkey. I've been in several times and each time I'm greeted with the same wonderful and kind service. The staff never seems to show sings of being overwhelmed with orders or have an attitude of you're indecisive or questioning several menu items. They always answer with a smile and are so polite. If I didnt know better I would have thought I was at Chic-Fil-A...now if only this Starbucks sold chicken sandwiches and waffle fries lol.... The interior is always kept neat and clean, and for this to Beaufort ai would expect an attack of gnats/sand fleas outside (and there's little to none), a few flies inside, or signs of moss all over...but outside seating is extremely well kept and landscaped and the inside always cool and clean. Came in for drinks and breakfast. Only one person in front of us and they took a long time ordering. Seemed like they were chatting about personal things. We ordered and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu choices. Sat down and our drinks came quickly and correctly. However if you are ONLY doing drive thru due to "technical issues" put a sign at the entrance to the parking lot instead of just the front door. Beverages weren't bad. Just another Starbucks location where the staff doesn't bother to update their system so guests would end up mobile-ordering items that have run out. Worse yet, we waited around for 7-8 minutes passed our expected time before having to check with someone behind the counter, only to be told that they are out of the items we ordered. They had to refund our money to my account, re-order, and took another 6-7 minutes to make the new order. This really defeated the purpose of mobile ordering ahead, and of a system which allows staff to update inventory on-hand in near-real time. A convenient location plagued by mediocrity. Baristas too busy talking to make my freaking drink. Very frustrating when you're in a rush. I hastily tried to review this Starbucks before I left and got on the road. I stopped here to get a quick fix before I drove back to Charleston. I watched the baristas stand there and talk while people are waiting to get their drink. Literally, the barista looked at the cup with the sticker on it, said my order out loud, then put the cup down and started talking to his coworkers. They were all huddled around talking and giggling. It really ticked me off because I wanted to get home ASAP and they had no rush to get the drive through moving or to get people their order. I eventually spoke up after trying to have a little patience. I let them know I was waiting for my drink after he looked at my cup for the third time and put it back down. I came this morning with my husband to try to get our morning coffee.. the drive thru line was insane. I get it. Everyone is excited about the reopening. I came to the mobile order pick up window & an employee came up to the window very nice, told us if we needed any help to let her know. When I stepped to the side to try to start my mobile order, it wasn't letting me. I come back to the window & a different girl came up & very rudely she just says " our mobile ordering isn't on , you have to go through the drive thru" & then proceeds to slam the window door as I'm standing there. She proceeds to open the window & I tell her " if you're mobile ordering isn't working, you might want to take down all these signs that state you're only taking mobile orders or drive thru ... " she pops out her head of the window to see the signs and says "I'm not the manager , so that's not my job & proceeds to slam the window door again " Extremely RUDE! I didn't get her name but she had short hair and wearing her hair in 2 little pig tails. If you're not having a good day, that's okay. We all have that day, but maybe call out? If you feel like you're going to be having a nasty attitude towards customers. Her tone of voice, her body language... her slamming the window... NOT OKAY. Also you might want to step up the communication within the team since clearly the First Lady that came to the window wasn't even aware that mobile ordering was down. Very nice service that helped to deal with my issues with my gold membership. They also served my drinks quickly. It has that lovely relaxed feeling Starbucks is supposed to have that I always enjoy. For it to be the one and only drive thru Starbucks in Beaufort it's pretty decent if you come early. Anytime after 0730 on weekdays and you'll be in line for a while unless you attempt to go inside. The workers are friendly and never have messed up my order (although I only order black coffee so you can't mess that up). The parking isn't great and like I said it becomes really crowded at certain times of the day. But it's the only Starbucks so either you deal with it, come early, or don't have coffee at all! read more

I go to this Starbucks whenever I am in town visiting my parents. Like other Starbuck it's always busy. This last visit really upset me but after tweeting to Starbucks about it I heard from the manager who was very apologetic and open to hearing my complaint and making improvements to avoid it happening to others. Not once did she get defensive which is speaks volumes to me. My original complaint was, I mobile ordered a drink to skip the crazy line (that's the point) just to find the door to be locked. What made it frustrating was the bright neon sign outside stating the lobby was open. After speaking to the manager she explains why it was locked and I suggested the bring in the sign from the road so others wouldn't get the wrong impression like I did. In general I think Starbucks should link in the app the pick up options because when on the way to work or on a lunch break 5-10 minutes in a line makes a difference. All in all I will return.. My posted is not intended to deter people but to make you aware mistakes are made but they were more than willing to make it right. read more
