Starbucks is not top of my list when it comes to deciding on a coffee shop... but when on the road it is always a very convenient stop. I popped into the new Starbucks here near the Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital and myyyy have things changed ... they're building everywhere! There's an entirely new plaza right across the street from the hospital with a market, Chipotle, Jersey Mike's, LA Fitness and soon to be an apartment building as well. Parking was super easy... I was able to pull up right in front and it was free! Everything inside looks so nice and new. Prince helped me out right away when I came in and helped me decide on a gift card and one of their new beverages. I went with the Apple Crisp oatmilk macchiato. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but I LOVE a warm beverage and this thing was sooo good. I was sad when I finished it. It tasted like an apple crumble in drink form. Not the best aftertaste butttt I'd def get it again. Overall, I had a pleasant time at this Starbucks. I appreciate that they have a conference size table so that I could lay out all my stuff. And Prince was very sweet, I really appreciated her patience with me because I take forever to decide what I want lol. OHHH and let me not forget that they were playing Justin Bieber and it reminded me how much of a fan of him I am.

I've come here multiple times now and I'm so happy they've opened as it is the only Starbucks on the way to my work. So sad to see that it has only 3 stars tho because I don't think it's that bad. I've always had good though fairly short interactions with the staff here since I mainly come to pickup my mobile order. Hope they get more reviews so that their average rating goes up :) overall, love this shopping center, Yard56, near my neighborhood!

This new Starbucks just opened today in a cool new plaza called Yard 56. Few tables inside and some nifty chairs outside. There are some parking in the front store entrance and a parking lot in the backside. The staff were friendly and welcoming while the barista made perfect drinks. They have nitros drinks available and will have the full array of food choices with their next delivery. Great addition to the neighborhood.

This Starbucks is relatively new in the Yard 56 shopping center across from Bayview. After a quick pump at LA Fitness, la jefa and I stopped by for a drink. The shop was clean and spacious with plenty of sunlit indoor seating as well as patio seating with umbrellas. Definitely a solid study spot. They also have string lights outside that make for a nice atmosphere at night. The service is quick and hassle free. It's never too busy. Check it out for sure!

What a beautiful bakery!…read more Overbird Bakery in Baltimore's Little Italy is baking artisan, European-style sourdough breads and pastries that uses spices and flavors from Turkey as well as the Mediterranean. When I walked in the other day, the baked goods on display made my jaw drop. I would have loved to stay and enjoy my breakfast but I had to get back home so grab and go is my only option. First time here, I'm going to start with a croissant and a special latte they were promoting. The croissant comes to me, warm and fresh in the bag. I got their vegan sandwich option, the veggie sandwich (hummus, spouts, tomato, avocado, etc), which was fantastic. The side of bagel chips was well worth the extra dollar or two, and overall the prices were quite reasonable ($10 for my sandwich--and it was not a small sandwich!) There was a long line, but we were able to find a table relatively quickly. The vegan cinnamon roll was unfortunately out by the time I arrived, but I would love to have tried that (their other pastries looked incredible). For coffee, I got the coldbrew, which was delicious with a bit of oatmilk. The high ceilings make it feel larger than it is, and the bright patterns add so much personality to what would otherwise be a rather austere industrial space. Recommended for both vibe and food :)

We also admired the inside of the restaurant which was adorned with beautiful paintings and dishes which helped with passing the time. The food, oh my gosh, that was probably some of the best food I've had in a while. It was so flavorful, the portions were large, and it was as if I was welcomed into someone's home and they cooked me a meal. I would go here over any chain food place any day. So you know I had to oblige and suggested that we try Estiatorio Plaka in Greektown. I always love venturing over to Greektown for some really good Greek food. And if you like Greek wine, their wine list is really extensive. Every wine on their list is carefully chosen from Greek regions to complement our menu, highlight its unique character, and bring an authentic taste of Greece to your table. We pretty much went straight to dinner we both wanted fish this particular evening. I had the LAVRAKI (BRANZINO) which was grilled with capers and oregano and my date wanted the snapper (LITHRINI (RED SNAPPER) , he loves snapper. Both dishes come with a choice of two sides which you can swap out. I chose the horta(field greens) and rice, my date chose the broccolini and roasted potatoes. To be honest the broccolini and roasted potatoes are your best bet. The horta was a tad bland for my liking and really need some seasoning. The rice was ok. For dessert we shared the baklava cheesecake. Soooo good. Baklava is my fave Greek dessert. They also have a nice cocktail and wine list. I plan on returning because they have a really nice happy hour with $1 oysters, $12 fish tacos and $7 espresso martini's, so that alone I am sold on. The decor in here is absolutely stunning, and they also have a really nice bakery to grab some desserts to take home if you like. So if you are in the Highlandtown neighborhood, make sure you stop in, you will not be disappointed SYOY

This place was a one-and-done experience for us. Never again!!…read more My husband and I ended up here after the Dave Chappelle show because our original dinner plans fell through when the restaurant was fully booked. We should have made reservations, but at that point, all we wanted was a decent meal (nothing fancy) after a long workweek and then to head home. Unfortunately, a decent meal didn't happen. The food was some of the worst we've had in a long time. My husband actually spit food into his napkin, shook his head, and said, "I'm done." I've never seen him do that before. Several dishes were simply inedible. The mashed potatoes were bland and flavorless--how do you mess up mashed potatoes? The potato salad was equally bland and disappointing. The French onion soup had very little broth and was overloaded with a thick layer of hardened cheese. Overall, the food tasted cheap and poorly prepared, yet the prices suggested otherwise. It felt like diner-quality food being sold at premium prices. What made the experience even more frustrating was the manager's response. He came to our table after hearing about our concerns, but instead of focusing on the quality issues we raised, he seemed more concerned that my husband refused to order a replacement meal. That spoke volumes about where the priorities were. The one bright spot was our server, who was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. No complaints regarding the server as he was extremely apologetic with our experience. To our surprise, the restaurant also added an automatic gratuity to our bill. Ironically, had that not been done, we likely would have tipped our server more because he was not the problem. The kitchen and management were. No, I didn't complain about the tip after I noticed it on our bill. We were over the experience and just wanted to pay and get the hell out of there. Save yourself the disappointment and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. We certainly wish we had. Gordon Ramsay, if you're looking for a future Kitchen Nightmares episode, this place could desperately use the help. P.S. A business name change is not going to help with the quality of the food. Do better and prove that you actually care about your customers, not just the $$.

I get so bored at the dog park so bark social is a fun twist in the routine. Having a beer and watching all the pups play is the best. Love their beer selection, lots of local favorites on tap. Food is ok, not great, wraps and flatbread pizzas (a shareable size). Go the pizza path. They have a small section for little dogs, which is great, but usually quite dead. We usually opt for the main area, in the summer water basins (kind of like a doggie plunge pool) and ice cube drops are staples. The dogs love it. While their staff is EXCEPTIONAL, they keep an eye on dog's safety and are on top of cleanliness, Bark Social still comes with the common pains of your standard dog park. A little more so, as some patrons leave a little too much responsibility with the staff to monitor dogs. No dog toys allowed. Overall, always have a blast here. Highly recommend a visit. Bonus: they have a lot of TVs, I plan to spend football season here as much as possible this year.
