Asked about a birthday reward and was told "if I was an Avid rewards user I would have seen it." Dude get over yourself . I used to have such great experiences visiting my local Starbucks but lately the service has just gone down and particularly with one barista. I don't know her name, but she's shorter, a little heavy set with dark hair and wears glasses. She has made my lattes in total 3x and each time was wrong. On one occasion she made it twice and another barista had roster in and make it correctly. Today... as she was putting it in the mobile (we'll call it a box) box, coffee splashed out with some getting it on my white shirt. She again got the order wrong and I sent it back. As she was handing it to me, she spilled more. She didn't offer to take it back and make another cup since at this point I'm not even getting a full cup of coffee, which we all pay for right!? This is one of the nicer Starbucks I've been to. Drinks are consistently good and the staff is friendly. They have speedy Google wireless too. Lots of outdoor seating, but a bit limited on the indoor. It can be tough to find a seat if you don't get here early. read more

Ended up having to wait here longer than anticipated with my 2 children; we went from drinks to eventually eating lunch. Well, not a great experience. Dropped in after seeing an early afternoon movie at Alamo Drafthouse. Parking isn't easy but manageable. The outside is really well designed and appealing. That's as far as it goes honestly. My biggest gripe is how incredibly filthy it was. Tables were dirty and wet from sweating cups, the floor didn't look like it had been swept in weeks and finger prints galore on the door. It was 3pm in the afternoon and the staff was disengaged and casually moving about. I'm hoping a manager with a more critical eye for cleanliness will take this project on. So, I've been waiting to write this review for about a month because at the time of my visit, I left the store really really annoyed. I didn't really want to just spew out hate in the moment, but here I am a month later and every time I drive past this location I am reminded of the service I received. I went in and ordered a decaf coffee frap (at the time I was about 30 weeks pregnant), and a large water. The person working the register was pretty nice I guess, just kind of going through the motions but I really don't blame them because I find myself doing that all the time at work as well. The person I have beef with was the older lady making drinks that day. She acted like I asked for the soul of her first born for lunch and I could not have inconvenienced her more by being there and ordering a drink. Mind you, there were only 2 other customers there, one who was working on his computer, and someone who seemed like they worked there and just came in to chat on her day off. Once she finished my drinks, she just put them on the counter and did not acknowledge me. Now, I'm not a complete idiot and could make the connection that this was my order, so calling out my name is not necessary but once I grabbed my drink we had an amazing back and forth- Me- "I'm so sorry I forgot to ask for this when I ordered my drinks but I completely forgot-would you mind if I grabbed a puppy whip for my pup" Her- *rolls her eyes, sighs, and picks up the mini cup to make it* Me-"I'm sorry, am I inconveniencing you in some way?" Her-"a little. These are really annoying to give out." Hold the phone- you mean to tell me that spraying a dollop of whipped cream into a cup is throwing your entire day off track? I get it. It definitely is a little irritating I asked for it at the last minute, but at least I had the decency to be polite about it. And total first world problems, the lady gave me an attitude whilst making my delicious frap, but just smile at me when you hand it to me then turn around and talk crap about me behind my back after I walk out like the rest of us in service industry. I always kinda felt like she was super rude every other time I went in there, but I just avoid it now. I love starbucks. Is it overpriced? Definitely. Is it tasty? Absolutely. I get a venti iced white mocha with whip (decaf, now that I'm pregnant) and 2 cake pops (birthday or cookies and cream flavor). It's slightly over $9 for my treat. My husband always points out my 3-5 starbucks visits a month on the credit card statement. He doesn't get it. Sweet, creamy, cold goodness in a plastic cup and dense, deliciousness on a stick. What is there to say about Starbucks? Almost everyone has had the white to-go cup or the translucent coffee milk shake drink in their possession at one point. This location is great, the baristas and cashiers are friendly, plenty of power outlets, and not once have I not been able to find a chair and table to study at. Probably my favorite Starbucks location. Really convenient location, well-decorated (the advertisements for the latte macchiato and the flat white were striking), and wonderfully quiet during the later hours on the weekdays. I've been coming here to study lately. The staff had excellent customer service: I had ordered the wrong drink at one point, and they made another drink for me with my requested soy milk substitute, all of it free of charge. They even asked if I wanted to have a larger size than tall. Really superb service, would definitely go again! As others have said, I would recommend parking in the HEB Plus area just so you have an easier time getting out. read more

My java mocha is just consistent everytime i come here. I have no complaints about my java mocha here. This starbucks does looks much cleaner than other ones i have been to. Plus its the closest to my house as well. Will keep coming back read more

I always come here and the service is great and drinks are made consistently good. The wait is never an issue and the ambience is great. I love the outside seating area as well. My only complaint is that a couple of times I've looked on yelp to check their hours of operation since I tend to study in the evenings to make sure they will be open until 10. A couple of times I've gone in at 8:30 or so thinking the closing time is 10 (because that is what it said on yelp) thinking I had a good hour and a half to study...only to be kicked out 30 minutes later. Please fix this so no more customers get confused like I have a couple of times! Other than that, I have no complaints about this place. read more

Nice, standard Starbucks offerings and decor. If you like Type A personalities, this is your place. The clientele is impatient, the baristas are curt, the atmosphere noisy. Questions about the menu are discouraged. Be prepared to bark your order and move on down the line. Great, if you are in a huge, important hurry, but if you want a relaxing cup of comfort, choose one of the other nearby coffee shops. read more

I went to this location for my birthday reward. At first glance, I had a feeling that the barista, Pam, who worked the register have had a rough day. When I said I'd like to use my birthday reward, she said to me with a frown, "OK. as long as it's not over $7" WTF?? Anyway, I ignored it and proceed with my order: I ordered a venti frappe with 6 shots and she said that my frappe is gonna be watery and not enough ice and not enough milk etc. I told her that I ordered same thing elsewhere and never had any problem. Then she gave the cup to other barista while I haven't even finish with my order. She said," oh, hang on, this lady hasn't finished. What else do you want in your frappe?" I said I want some protein added, she said "I don't think it's gonna fit in this cup" and she started giving me lecture of how the frappe is made, in front of all other customers. I told her, I don't need her lecture I just need my coffee. She said she's gonna get fired for giving the customer more than what they're supposed to get. I said "you're gonna get fired for making your customer happy?? Well, if my order would make you lost your job, then cancel it." I walked out and called the customer service. Best reward for my birthday ever: I wasted my precious 15 minutes, my feeling's hurt, and I did not get my coffee the way I want it. I don't typically provide feedback about service but I feel that I have just been to the worst Starbucks in a long time. This is now the second time I have gone to the Lakeline Blvd & 183 location in Cedar Park, TX. I believe it is a fairly new location but is very convenient to my work. I typically go to the location on FM 620 & Anderson Mill and they are awesome there. The first time I went to the Lakeline location I did feel the staff was not very friendly, but everyone has bad days. So I tried again this morning and it was actually worse this time. To start with the girl at the register was very rude about not being able to break a $50 bill. Which I understand maybe she didn't have the change or maybe it's policy, but there was no need to be snippy to me about it. I was then standing there waiting for my drink to be made and a customer that was being handed her drink from the bar asked if she could also get a glass of ice water. The staff member replied "you need to be ordering those while you are at the register because I don't keep cups over here". She was extremely rude about it and the customer looked a little embarrassed after how loud and rude the staff member was about it. The customer apologized and was completely ignored by the staff member. Unbelievable! Needless to say I will stick with the Starbucks on 620 and not return to the Lakeline location. The customer service there is horrendous!! They are obviously consistently rude with customers! Not even close to the experience I have had in other Starbucks locations that I frequent a lot! read more
