This has got to be the worst Starbucks in Georgia. Not Starbucks in general but just this very location. How do I know? I travel all through out Georgia for work and spend a lot at Starbucks. This location it's always somwthing. In general there is always a long line. Not because it's busy but because it's very slow. Always understaffed. One time they said didn't take my order because it was 10 minutes before closing time, another time I wanted to add another drink and they made me go back through the drive thru. Visited the Starbucks on East-West Connector in Mableton, GA this morning. Unfortunately, as it may sound petty in comparison to the declining customer service experience, I was surprisingly disappointed in a Company that I thought worked hard on customer experience, quality and efficiency. I experienced nothing that resembled either of those attributes. The issues- -received poor service from the location several times previously while using drive through during rush hours-my fault. -Walked in today, Sunday and ordered a coffee-charged $3.87 (important), the cashier did not ask my name, I assumed because I used the Starbucks app to pay? -waited more than 15 minutes -other walk-ins came afterwards -one attractive customer came in much later than and ordered as a walk-in -after what she clearly believed to be an extensive wait, she went to the same cashier that waited on me earlier and complained in Spanish. He immediately fixed her order and she left. -I continued to wait, growing more frustrated -I finally spoke to the manager and asked if my order is being worked. -it was not, she asked my name, because the original cashier had not asked, -she directed someone to make my order -I was served with the specific item requested - I refused and requested refund of $3.87. -I was credited back to the AP $3.13 I WISH there were creditable competitors in the area who could give this business competition-they are taking their customers for granted!!!! read more

Worst service ever! They have more employees than customers and the employees are so loud! I ordered a cafe latte with no foam, I got foam on my cafe latte. I asked the lady that I had ordered my coffee with no foam and she looked at me like she was going to kill me. This experience was horrible and I will never comeback here! Horrible experience- it was like half an hour wait, and the barista was super rude. Also, we ordered a grande but were served a tall in a grande cup. I was so disappointed today. I decided to treat myself to an iced matcha latte (I do not indulge often). I went into the location since the drive thru was slow. I knew my wait would be a little longer but I was okay with that...however, after placing my order I watched 6 other people who ordered after me get their order before me. I asked the gentleman making the drinks if mine was coming. He looked over the orders, checked a tablet and mumbled something. Didn't say yes just kind of checked the cups. I waited a bit more then went up and asked the guy who took my order when could I expect my drink. He fumbled around then finally said we are making it now. I waited 5 more minutes. No sorry, no nothing. Then had the nerve to give me a raggedy drink (nothing special just a lavender matcha)!!! I'm not usually one to put up a stink, but really! I learned my lesson, will not be patronizing this location anymore. They should work on customer service, because I can get over a mediocre drink every now and again, but I don't appreciate the not acknowledging the mistake and then be slow making it right! This Starbucks is a hit or miss for me. They have new staffing that I find to be rude and indignant. I frequent this location at least 3-4 times a week but may have hit my tipping point today as I witness an employee being rude to a young boy who asked for a tall straw as he could not properly drink his venti beverage with the shorter straw. She told him: they were out but in fact they were not. Someone else got it for him...the attitude she possessed was not fit for someone making a beverage for anyone. The assistant mgr claimed it was her second day...than her training went all wrong and she is not representing the brand that many people love. She actually giggled as I made a verbal complaint and mind you, I did not know the young boy...just pissed me off to see her unbothered. It's Starbuck's, so you are a fan or not, right!? This busy location sits in the shopping center alongside a tire center and hibachi spot. The drive thru can get a little tricky once it gets backed up as people come from all different directions, so just be prepared to go with the flow if you choose to hit the drive thru. I usually just go inside to order, as I have found it to be quicker and less of a hassle. I have been here a few times, but on my last visit my order was somehow delayed due to a printer issue and no one caught it until I had been waiting about 5 minutes. The barista noticed he was giving drinks out to folks that ordered after me and once I told him what I ordered, he noticed he never got a ticket for it. He partnered with the cashier and they quickly got it printed out and began working on the order. Once this was noticed they only took a few minutes to make it happen. Once they got me all set the Manager apologized for the delay and stated she wanted to give me a $4.00 gift card so my next coffee was on them. I was not looking for anything, but wasn't about to say no! I will say that the barista, cashier and Manager were all phenomenal from start to finish. I appreciate the way they handled the situation from rectification, acknowledgment and saving the customer experience with the offer of the gift card. Overall, most Starbucks are going to be busy and the drinks are consistent from location to location, but I prefer this spot due to the service I receive each time I walk in. Drive-Thru is a convenient way to multitask while you wait for your order. Plus, the inside isn't open yet. Gia was pleasant over the speaker & in person. Once we pulled up, another employee popped over to say hello. Although all the employees were covered in masks/gloves, they still served up a good cup of pleasantries & service. This has to be the absolute slowest Starbucks in the city. It doesn't matter how many cars are in front of you, it will take 10-20 minutes to get your order. Today I got in line at 6:27 to get a mobile order. I didn't get my drink until 6:41. Now I did see the girl finishing it so at least it wasn't just sitting there the whole time. They are like this no matter what time of day it is. I've been coming to this location for years, and it hasn't always been this way. The slowness is something that occurred over maybe the last 2 years. I'm not sure if they need more training or more help. I'm giving a 3 because they're always nice and the store is always clean. Unfortunately I waited 40 minutes in the drive through line today at 11am. Really didn't budget for a long excursion to Starbucks in my day :( As a barista of many years, I'd guess they are either understaffed by 1 or 2 people, or the employees aren't moving with purpose. I'd like to think it was the first option because they were friendly and did deliver my tea hot! I only choose Starbucks over independent coffee shops sometimes because of the speed and ease of the drive thru window! But it makes a huge difference when it's past the main morning rushes, almost noon, and yet so hard to get a drink.
