After reading previous reviews, I agree with one written a year ago by Elizabeth R. I went on a Saturday for breakfast. I frequent the Mableton, Floyd Road, location. I too have noticed how the Hispanic staff at the registers are more friendly and take longer with Hispanic customers, with casual conversation, causing an order taking delay. The manager at this location on Saturday, August 23, 2025, took an order speaking in Spanish to a customer. I was next in line. After the customer walked away. The manager did not acknowledge me at the register, she immediately turned and went to the back. The manager could have at least acknowledge me and say she would be back shortly to take my order. She went from 100% customer service to zero. I stood at the counter for a few minutes, there were people behind me in line. Finally, employee CHARLEY saw me, the back up of customers and came to the register to take my order as well as other orders. CHARLEY is the best, he is amazing in the drive through, always with a smile and a positive saying upon order completion. I have only experienced this excellent "Chik Fil A" type service with CHARLEY. I expressed my concern to the manager at my visit. I told her that she abruptly walked away from me, told her how CHARLEY stepped in. Instead of taking ownership of her abruptness, she tried to explain away her action by saying she was multitasking; not acceptable behavior. I have also noticed the employees at this location is not as diverse as the demographic it serves. I noticed it especially in the summer months when kids are out of schools seeking summer employment. My complaint is management, at this location, should treat every customer with dignity and respect as they treat the Hispanic customers. read more

I think they've hired all new staff the last few months.. half the people will stare at you waiting for something and not say a word. The inside is always clean which we love. I've noticed they've been more friendly with people that speak Spanish versus not. I go 2-3 times a week because I have a kid so I've been watching for months and observing. The sweet tea is out a majority of the time and they're annoyed when you ask for some from the back. Also don't tell me you charge for sauce when if I add it on the app it's free.. the only friendly one is the older guy that works drive thru, he's ALWAYS in a good mood and so pleasing. This evening's visit was basically the same. The drive thru was still slow, but the food was accurate. The main difference was the service was not as friendly. We got no greeting, and both the cashier who took our money and the server who gave us our food seemed cold and distant. This will not deter me from going back if I'm in the area. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service at a McDonalds in Cobb County, So the story goes like this. To my understanding they open up early so I get to the drive through about 6:40 in the morning and try to order food before I go to work so I see an employee outside by the back door using a waterholes apparently he was trying to clean the area where the cars sit while making an order. So I ask the employee are they open after I've been there for about 6 mins without anyone coming to take my order, so going back to the the employee using the waterholes he totally ignored me and walked back inside the establishment without answering my question. When did it become normal for a place of business not taking your order during business hours just because they didn't want to. read more

I think the last time I had a Big Mac was like 30 years ago. Yeah, I never had a Big Mac in my adult life. For fast food burgers, I usually choose the Whopper over the Big Mac. I like the tomato. I wanted to try one and decided to come to this McDonald's. It's near my house. This McDonalds has 2 drive through ordering areas. I like that. It makes the line move faster (not really, read below). Once you order, you pay at the first window. Then you get your food at the second window. Usually, when I come to McDonald's, I get a Filet-o-Fish. But I decided to get their main burger, the Big Mac (Le Big Mac in France). The Big Mac is a triple decker Hamburger. It consists of 2 patties that's about 1.5 oz each. In the middle, there is another bun separating the patties. It also comes with American cheese, pickles, onion, and lettuce. The main feature of the Big Mac is their secret sauce. It's what gives the Big Mac the "Big Mac Flavor". It's basically salad dressing. The way they construct the burger is spot-on. The sauce is on the bottom and middle bun, then the lettuce, cheese, then the meat. That layering helps to catch the meat juices and not make the buns soggy. But why does that matter? The patties were dried out like hockey pucks. It is a fast food burger. They use the smash and dry technique when grilling the burgers. The put the patty on the grill and smash all the juices out. I think the main feature is the secret sauce. The dried out patty tasted fine with it. It's a satisfying, fast-food burger. It's also cheap. What more can you ask for? I think for fast food burgers, you need a lot of crap like lettuce, special sauce, cheese, pickles, etc. That way, you can cover up the flavor (or lack of) of the patty. If you're making a real burger, you just need the patty, bun, and cheese. Maybe you can add a pickle. But a simple burger like that can taste good if the juices of the patty is retained while cooking. Their fries are actually good. It's pretty addicting. It's your standard fries, salted heavily. Their Chicken Nuggets are a classic. It's bone-less white meat chicken with a crispy crust. It was good. I remember in The Wire, they talk about the Chicken Nugget. How some dude removed the bone from the chicken. I don't know if he's rich or not, but whoever came up with this was a genius. The service is slow here. They are also not friendly. But hey, it's a McDonald's, not a Chick Fila. They're not gonna say, "My Pleasure" when you thank them. They all look like they hate their jobs. read more

This location on Floyd Road I will NEVER go there to spend my hard earned dollars again. They are the most rudest and unprofessional workers I have ever met. In the morning they won't come to the speaker and take your order. I waited for 7 minutes in line, late for work. When you pull up to the window they're try to hide but you see them looking directly at you. The manager is very rude. They all needs training except the older guy. When you call and make a complaint the manager will hang up in your face. Also, the maintenance guy you see in the driveway spraying water, he refuses to move. He just stood there and I blew my horn so I could get through. He yells, and says WAIT. They treat and speak to customers harshly. I would give ZERO stars if I could!! This location has went down hill quickly with customer service and the quality of food. I visited this location last night around 8:10pm to pick up a quick bite to eat for dinner after shopping at Kroger across the street. So mind you, I'm loaded down with cold groceries in the back. Was in the drive-thru line for 20 minutes before pulling up to the speaker to place my order. I had to repeat my order to the employee that was taking the order at least a good 4-5 times before completing and getting no total. Okay, that's fine as that's very common. Get to the window to pay and the guy tells me $36.-some change. Umm no... what I had ordered should have been right around $17 give or take. I tell him what was ordered 3 MORE TIMES and He "gets the correct order" and I pull up to the pick up window. I get half of my order and I looked at the receipt to only see an itemized receipt that's missing HALF of the order and clearly wasn't taken correctly. So I told the young lady that this order is missing items and she asked what was missing. I sat at this window for 10 MINUTES repeating my order ANOTHER 5-6 TIMES before arguing with this lady AND the manager only to have to pay for an extra burger. I will not be coming back to this location. I'll take it to the one up the road from here and just deal with slow service. Might be slow there but at least customer service, food, and accuracy is better. ‍y'all need to get a better manager AND employees that actually want to work and care about their customers. read more

This McDonald's continues to sell holiday pies and no strawberry pies although it is advertised on the menu. Every other McDonald's in the area have strawberry and apple pies. I was was told by 2 different employees on 2 separate occasions that they have to sell all the holiday pies first. I like this location. I'm still fairly new to Mableton, so I can only assume that this McDonalds is fairly new. It looks like it. They're pretty slow in drive-thru. They've got a rude ass little girl on the drive-thru who has cut me off on more than one occasion. She's the type who silently celebrates when they've run out of the one thing that you came for- in my case recently, ice cream. Anywho, solid 3. It's just McPoison. It's ok. McDonalds provides hot food, fast and cheap. Is it the most healthy option?? Of course not but they are pretty reliable on what I order. I probably hit this location once a month and they always seem to get my order correct. There have been a couple times where I have gone inside and the lines were pretty long and service was slow. I do think they are hiring more help so that should solve it. I will continue to eat here as long as the service keeps up. read more

I tried to get the issue resolved with the manager and she come to the window with an attitude saying she going do a refund. So she told me she just did the refund I told her I want a receipt of the refund " how can you refund my card when you have to swipe it to give me a refund my card in my hand the whole time" so she pushing buttons on screen printing all of these receipts and not one given to me to show proof of a refund. So I told her never mind you already charged my card she forcefully telling me to give her my card. I told her no you charged my card once she burst out next time make two separate orders then slammed the window in my face when I told her that the cashier should have listen instead of doing what she wanted to do. This is my favorite McDonalds in the Smyrna/Mableton Area. There is another McDonald's less than a mile away from my home in Smyrna at the Kroger's shopping center, but their service is often very slow. And when it is, I would drive to this one. I mainly come here for hot cakes and sausage and a milk on the weekends. Sometimes I'll come here for lunch when I'm in the area. This is one of the newer McDonald's around here. I've been coming here for several years and their service is always great and the food comes out fast and hot like a fast food joint should be. I guess I've been lucky because I do see a few bad reviews for this place which is unfortunate. read more
