However, my daughter's cold drink had a defective lid, which caused drips on her shirt from Spain. Luckily she washed out her shirt in time to escape a permanent stain! This Starbucks is what you expect from all their other locations. They have drive-thru which is bonus, but it's painfully slow. I try to go to the only other Starbucks (not counting the grocery store one) on Daisy Mountain if I can but sometimes this location is in my path. 5 am on a Sunday and we were headed to Black Canyon City from Mesa. The weather was crappy, the kids were hungry and I needed coffee. Not much is open at that time ... like NOTHING... but this place was and the people there couldn't have been nicer. I guess the people who work the before-the-sun-comes-up shift on a Sunday are either the people who WANT to be there or the ones who drew the short straw. The debut of the Fruitcake Frappachino was widely publicized so I needed to give it a shot. Used the drive-through lane and this limited edition holiday treat came jingling my way. It was like a hazelnut frap with what I can assume was pieces of dried fruit on the bottom that got sucked up through the straw. It was drizzled with green dust and had a swirly look. Absolutely terrible. I'm a Starbucks fan, but this location needs to get it together. Took 15 minutes for a coffee with cream. That's all. Nothing fancy. Mind blowing that the cashier couldn't turn around and pour regular coffees for people like every other location. Yikes...did not have a great experience at all when stopping at this Starbucks before beginning our road trip. My boyfriend and I unfortunately waited in line to order for a good 10 minutes and then waited another 30 for our drinks. I was close to just saying "forget it" and walking out but we really needed some caffeine to get us going so we waited. We finally get our drinks and mine is the wrong kind of tea I ordered with no lemonade in it...my boyfriend's drink was cold like it had been sitting out for a while. Since by that time we were behind schedule, we left and I wrote to customer service who very nicely apologized and gave me a refund. This location desperately needs to work on their time management as I noticed there were enough employees working, however not efficiently enough at all. There were so many mobile orders that the walk-in orders were not being taken care of. My advice would be to skip this location for your caffeine fix and to find another Starbucks location to stop at! read more

Not sure why this store has such poor reviews because there service is exceptional and is one of the friendliest Starbucks I've ever been to. Drive thru is by far one of the fastest and my order is always correct and to my liking. I've been here hundreds of times and have placed orders for my office and myself and they were able to complete all of them without a problem. This location has great staff and is very friendly. The Starbucks is in a Safeway I went in to order a Venti Americano with just some oatmilk put in it for which they try to charge me for I spoke with the managers of Safeway they said yes we do charge extra for that whereas Starbucks normally does not.
