I did some work from this Starbucks location a week or two ago when I was in Annapolis for the day. Most Starbucks locations are kind of interchangeable, but this one stood out in one way to me - plenty of seating, and some by outlets for charging laptops or phones. Being in that shopping center, it also has plenty of easy parking. Not a bad place to spend an hour or two! read more

I've been visiting this Starbucks twice a month since October 2020 and I think I like it. It's not the friendliest Starbucks but they always get my order right. I love the shopping center that this Starbucks is located. There are plenty other shopping businesses as well as plenty of parking. I enjoy how festive this Starbucks was during the holidays. They have a real fireplace that heats up lovely. During the holidays they had all their Christmas decorations up and it looked very beautiful throughout the cafe. I look forward to many more visits to this location and hopefully more friendly staff. Starbucks baristas are typically cheerful and welcoming. In an ideal world, running errands w.baby in tow I would have loved finding a nearby drive-thru Starbucks, but overall it wasn't a difficult grab & go. The location was easy to locate within the massive shopping center- a large parking lot w.ample spaces. Inside was spacious, with beautiful fireplace ambiance, lots of seating variety (couches, tables, hightops). Very friendly staff. Quick to order- well staffed so while someone was taking my order & helping me checkout, my coffee was already being made by another. Coffee was made fresh, hot, well constructed. They even recognized I was managing baby and offered to help w.a stopper stick & an extra cup layer for 'heat' management. Would visit again if in the area :) read more

Pretty disappointing. Stood by the register for quite awhile, meanwhile the guy making the hot breakfast sandwiches was doing a great job of completely ignoring me. The other two workers were busy with one wiping the counter and the other seemed to be conversing with a manager about who knows. I got out my phone and was about to complete a mobile order, that's what seemed to be the store's focus, and then one of the workers said" What can I get ya?" Probably the best one in the District. So far, they've consistently prepared my mocha praf with extra shot decently, which is all I could ask for. The staff at this location seem to care about standard and falling below that. Even with a long line you never feel like you are waiting too long for your coffee maybe this location has a bigger space and strategically located seatings and corners. It feels like they care about how I want my coffee especially now that they automatically write JC on my cup and a check on extra shot or two! Oops, this was not the one in DC by Dupont Circle.,this is the one near my primary Doc's office was. Because they prepared my mocha just right and I go typically each morning, I've mistaken this location for my go to when i'm in my office. Love this location and the regulars. There is a regular flow of people here that come daily. I see the same faces all the time. I love the parking is easy, there is a fireplace, the wifi is free, the bathrooms are clean, and the drinks are tasty. They have a clover machine here and the reserve coffees that you do not find in all the Starbucks. They are a bit more expensive but worth tasting if you are into coffee. Lots of seating in this location. I like when a coffee shop has a place to chill that is inviting, they definitely accomplish that here. Saturday's are the busiest. Just keep that in mind. read more

This Starbucks was okay. It was my first time there. I ordered the seasonal sugar cookie almond latte. I had to wait 15 minutes for my drink. The Starbucks was busy with customers and most people crowded around, waiting for their drink. The staff was doing their best to produce the drinks as fast as they could, but it just seemed overstaffed. They also would call out the customer's names quietly so you couldn't hear them or whose drink it was whenever a drink was finished. read more

Typical Starbucks. Nothing special really. I would avoid it on Saturday mornings though. The barista, Mark, seems a little unhappy to be there. Also, if you order your coffee, be ready to fight for it at the pick up area if someone behind you orders the same thing. They just assume it's theirs. That is why the name system works... Not sure if this is the direction Starbucks is going or not, but coffee normally has coffee in it. It seems like more and more drinks are moving away from coffee and more into just flavored water. I came here on a Wednesday morning around 7:30 AM while working in the area. The Starbucks is located in a strip mall; there is plenty of parking nearby. It wasn't too busy when I got there; there was a short line but it moved quickly. Some of the customers there were obviously regulars, as the baristas greeted them by name and vice versa. There is a generous amount of seating inside, including small and large tables, some high top tables, and couches near the fireplace. The couches were basically all taken when I got there, but there were multiple tables still open. There are 2 large unisex bathrooms; I went to use them twice that morning and never had to wait in a line. My drink was made properly and quickly, the staff I encountered were friendly, and I found the noise level to be ok. The wifi seemed good; I was able to connect quickly and didn't experience any issues when I activated my VPN. This was definitely one of the better Starbucks locations I've been to, and is a great place to get some work done during the week. read more

The Good: Larger than average location for Starbucks. Plenty of seating and a cozy fireplace (bonus!) for relaxing. They also have Clover brewed coffee and Reserve coffee in stock for purchasing! The Bad: Weekend traffic here can be a nightmare. I went after noon today and the line started at the entrance (what happened to all of the early morning coffee people!?). Parking can also be difficult to find. The Questionable: I ordered a Soy Caramel Macchiato. The people before me got their drinks so I knew mine would be up next. My husband's order came up, but mine was nowhere to be found. The next drink up was a regular Caramel Macchiato. I assumed it was for someone else. I waited and waited.... after a few more drinks were called out for people that had come after me, I questioned the regular macchiato. The girl said "Oh, I forgot to write Soy on the cup." So, I had to wait for them to make another one... but they proceeded to finish all of the drinks for people that had come after me before fixing my drink. In total I waited about 15 minutes from order to finish. I wish this situation could have remedied in a better fashion, but I'm sure I'll be back if I'm in the area. read more

I've been going to this location for a long time. It's in a nice, quiet strip mall with plenty of parking. The store is well laid out, with plenty of tables, chairs, and comfortable seats. They have a large and roaring fireplace. The baristas are friendly and competent and provided my friend and I with free coffees today for simply having to wait a few minutes while they brewed a fresh pot. Kick ass! read more

The good thing about this place is that it has strong wifi. Score. Cinnamon chai latte was alright. Wish I asked for it to be extra hot. Could be cozy with the fireplace but unfortunately it wasn't on despite the chilly weather and I was freezing in here! Your standard neighborhood Starbucks; although they can't seem to make a proper caramel frappucinno, so I just go next door to Barnes & Noble Starbucks for those. The shop is clean and so are the restrooms. The baristas are usually friendly and nice but what makes this location suck is that the wifi is slower than a turtle. I think they're the only Starbucks that hasn't upgraded to the Google Starbucks connection. I think they purposely aren't upgrading. The other thing that makes this location annoying is that the senior citizens sitting by the fireplace are always loud and obnoxious to everyone, voicing their opinions about how republican is the way to go and only their opinion matters. People are here to enjoy coffee and study. Nobody wants to hear about their political opinions. I just went in there a few minutes ago.....I know Annapolis is known to not be the friendliest to black people in general but it's 2021 so I'm going to go wherever I want. When I went in and ordered my coffee, the guy cut me off and was rushing me. When my order was done, they just put the cup down. They didn't call my name nor did they say my drink was done, which usually happens at any Starbucks I've been to. I will not be coming back here and will tell everyone I know not to. Bacon Gouda with no bacon. 90% of the time it's wrong and I've brought it to their attention a few times but i use the mobile order because i usually don't have time to wait. I would have given this location two stars at best in the past. Run by children who had no business sense or manners. Case in point, ignoring a sweet older lady who asked them to please not blast gangster rap at 6 AM on a Saturday morning. It was unfortunate that it took a grown up threatening to call the district manager to get him to do anything. This was after lying to the woman and saying he had no control over the music. I wonder if he treats his own mother that way? But the middle school crowd is gone. Now they have a new manager who seems to be a professional and long time Starbucks employee. What a welcome change! It is an ideal place to catch up with a friend for a cup of joe, but I don't think it is a study environment. The coffee is typical Starbucks. However the baristas are really what makes this location one that I return to often. I've been going to the location since it opened and have not been disappointed with the service. I often don't really care for the flavor of the day (yep, I'm a bit picky) and they offer to do a "pour-over" or French Press. I prefer the French Press and will often order that in lieu of the brewed coffee. The line there can get very long often reaching almost to the entrance. They move it through quickly with accurate orders. They have provided me with complementary coffee a couple of times that I've had to wait for the coffee to brew. Food ... I usually don't get food at Starbucks but the "Old Fashion" doughnut is really good :) If you frequent Starbucks I suggest the Apple or Android app and to sign up for auto refill. I'm a very frequent customer of Starbucks and earn 3 - 4 free cups of coffee per month (15 purchases = 1 free). Great place to meet people and use the internet when you're traveling. read more

Starbucks coffee at Starbucks prices but the space is nice. Lots of Windows and seating for when you need to do some work. I went to visit this Starbucks location last night. It was 8:40 pm. Apparently they close at 8:30. However, I walked right in. If an establishment is closed, why aren't the doors locked? The Starbucks in the Harbor Shopping Center is my absolute favorite! It's clean and has the best staff. I believe the baristas name I recently had was Tony, and he was a delight! A delicious beverage with a side of hospitality and great conversation. Highly recommend this Starbucks! read more

If someone wanted a consensus on this one specifically, I'd say the staff is friendly but perhaps not the quickest in a rush, and the drinks are pretty on-par. Whenever I go to this location it is always a little bit busy but that does not seem to bother the employees because they don't miss a beat and my drink always comes out quickly and always tastes great. Friendly staff and if you do manage to find a seat it is the perfect atmosphere to just bring your MacBook and work on some paperwork while sipping delicious coffee. No complaints read more

Just moved close by... As you can see on my profile I rarely write a bad review, but I'm a little ticked. I've been to this location 3 times and every time the staff seems overwhelmed. This is a foot traffic only store, no drive thru, and I haven't noticed it super busy. I've been rushed in my SIMPLE order and cut off, received the wrong order twice. The staff isn't very friendly and they rush you while your ordering, I alway ask for an extra shot of espresso and never get it (probably because they don't listen) It's continuously the worst Starbucks I've ever been to read more
