We go to Starbucks ALOT, we like Starbucks because the drinks taste the same every time(usually). This location was the first one where we both did not enjoy our drinks, my Chai Latte tasted watered down and my boyfriend's Carmel Ribbon Crunch was so disappointed we stopped at another local Starbucks to get ANOTHER!.In posting this review my hopes are that Starbucks will do a better job with consistency because the drinks are not cheap. The fall is starting and I thought it would be great to get a warm latte. I grab my cup and realize it's leaked everywhere, including my leather upholstery that cannot get wet. I take a sip and it tastes like left over coffee, open it up and realize there's no foam. I went back and demanded it be fixed and to get a bigger size for free. $2 tip for a $14 bill. This store frequently makes mistakes on drinks- coffee blended drinks without coffee, latte automatically served iced (despite mobile ordering having specific labels for each drink), and milk subs haphazardly swapped out. The baristas are openly hostile with each other and trainees are belittled to the point that they are afraid to ask questions. Senior workers have no integrity and an absolute disregard for food allergies. This review is a culmination of years of crappy service and giving staff a chance to work the drinks. However, after going into anaphylaxis after being provided dairy in a non-dairy beverage, the manager offered to comp the order ($15 and some change) and to just come in for the refund. Once I came in, the manager doubled down and insisted that the drink had been made with the proper substitute and that her employee who she spoke to minutes after the drink was made was mistaken when she initially said that she used cow's milk instead of a dairy alternative. I explained that my symptoms of an allergic reaction would never happen with a non-dairy substitute and that somehow, every other Starbucks in the county seems to be able to make this drink without it causing me throat swelling and hives. Props to her, she held back her eye roll, and handed me two gift cards that she claimed to equal the value of the order while glaring at the barista who initially made the original order. Because I no longer trust this location, the gift cards were used at a more reliable Starbucks, where I discovered that the gift cards were equal to HALF of the value that they were purported to be. This place is toxic. If I find myself in need of a caffeine fix, I'll drive to the Anderson Safeway from now on. read more

Nice location near the freeway. Long line at register and had to use the restroom so entered mobile order. Looks like a lot of well dressed people here (church out?) This staff is hopping and so busy that it took little time. There is also a drive through they have to service. Trent's Iced Green Tea no sweetener extra ice is great. Just as expected with skimping on the extra ice. Heaven is the two comfy chairs. Oh my gosh, they are perfect! I seriously was to buy one. read more

I'm stopping in here at this Starbucks to get a coffee for the road and use the free WiFi to write a review of the breakfast I just had here in Anderson. I'm getting to know all the little local spots. Starbucks will let you use the restrooms and free WiFi and you can just sit here all day and not even buy anything. I always get at least a coffee, house with cream. The service was fine, got my coffee at the same time I paid with my Starbucks card. The WiFi works fine and I found a good spot to sit, so sure I'll be back again. It's an easy on and off from the freeway, so that's even better. read more

I was very pleased with this Starbucks. After disastrous luck with Starbucks in Reading, I got on the freeway heading back to the Bay area and hold off for this Starbucks. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The dining area what's clean and well ventilated. 100% of the staff are wearing masks, and of course many of the locals are anti-maskers so it's not unusual to find customers endangering the lives of the employees without wearing masks. This Starbucks was not only slow, it was not at all accommodating. First they would not split up the ticket to pay for two orders separately after placing the order in drive thru - citing that their system doesn't let them do that; we're not that sophisticated here. The store looked plenty updated to me. Then the order included under cooked breakfast sandwiches and a cold Espresso Macchiato which was supposed to be a hot drink. I love Coffee! Some would say that I have a coffee addiction. I am the simple coffee type however, forget the Latte, Mocha, Frapp. I drink either black coffee or a quad shot Americano. For me the key to a good Americano is having espresso shots with not too much hot water. I like several inches of room in my Grande (Medium) Americano. Since I travel here, there, and everywhere, I frequent my favorite coffee spots on the road. For the most part Starbucks is consistent. I prefer the darker roast coffee, over the lighter blends. I am a huge fan of the Starbucks Mobile App, and use my phone to pre order my coffee, so it is ready to pick up when I roll in. Nothing sucks more than getting stuck in line behind some person that is ordering 4 of these these fancy frapp and fufu mocha/latte, I am soon gonna have a blood sugar of 300 drinks. Top it off with a scone or cookie and your good to go. This Starbucks is near Wallyworld (Walmart) and is right off I-5 in Anderson, CA. If you don't want to get out of your car, you can hit the drive through. The only issue with this place is that the parking lot in front is very tight, and there are only a few parking spaces. You can park in the Walmart lot and walk over. The staff here is very friendly, and they have gotten much quicker at making drinks. Anderson only has this SBUX, and one inside Safeway on the other side of town. read more

All four of your staff memebers you had working this morning in the 10 o'clock hour of Father's Day were wonderful. They were all basically running around to get orders out as fast as possible. I witnessed one a very customer leave. The wait was 10-15 minutes for a coffee. And the drive through was out the door. The drive through takes an abundance of time, the inside store is always dirty, and service is slow inside as well. I came to the Starbucks at five in the morning, well actually five minutes before, but walked in at 5 AM. I was greeted authentically. I am driving down from Portland Oregon to San Francisco & finally ending up back in La La Land. I wanted to take a note of this Starbucks, usually we only do reviews if I angry or if someone really made your day. The blonde hair ‍ gal who opened today, helped me find a new drink. She was truly happy to help, unlike most of the burnt coffee in Los Angeles for employees who are only working there with no passion but to become an actress in Hollywood. If you have no passion for coffee or customer service it definitely shows in the outcome of your beverage. But to continue what I mentioned earlier about why we do reviews, I'm doing this one simply because even though Starbucks is a huge corporation, this specific one made me feel like it was local Coffee shop, with the epidemic lately I'll admit I feel unwanted and I've been yelled at I have multiple Starbucks employees just trying to keep us safe. But today I wore my mask, but didn't feel the anxiety I have not been able to sit down once I ordered. They have an art wall with sticky notes that was pretty epic, since the Starbucks is usually attending to travelers like myself. All the post-it art was on a different level of creativity! On my way out I saw a basket with masks in them if you forgot to bring yours wrapped in the classic Starbucks food pocket. This place is insane. Total of 5 people behind the counter at 3:15 on a Thursday. Total of 10 customers, all served and sitting. 1 other patron in line and it took me 15 minutes to get a tea poured over ice. I even said, no reason to shake it. So, ice in a cup and tea took 15 minutes. I don't understand this. I've been to Starbucks ALL over the US and this one, plus the one on Adobe in Red Bluff are horrible. They routinely mess up your order, take forever, then get irritated and snippy if you want your drink fixed to what you actually paid for. Other Starbucks in big cities have lines out the door and you wait maybe 5 minutes. These people need to get on track and step yo their performance. I sat there for 10-15 minutes with my girlfriend waiting for our coffees and we were looking through the window to see if they were almost done when the girl opens the window rudely hands me the coffees and throws the straws in my car through the window. What happened to this place?? I'm a regular Starbucks customer. I have been to all the local shops even Safeway Starbucks kiosks. This is by far the MOST disorganized and slowest place I've ever been to when getting an order. It doesn't matter if you go through the drive-thru or walk in, they just don't seem like they are completely ready for the day. I also never seem to see the same people twice at this shop. Is this possibly a local training center for new hires? My suggestion if you're in Anderson for coffee and you want Starbucks...go to Safeway on Balls Ferry.
