Stpped by this Starbucks drive-thru today. The coffee was hot and tasted good, but the interaction itself felt a little cold and impersonal. I don't necessarily blame the employee, everyone can have an off day, and sometimes it may reflect how supported or appreciated staff feel behind the scenes. Very fast on service. I ordered through the app, maybe 4-5 minutes before arriving and they had it ready to go. Otherwise, standard Starbucks experience. They have decent indoor seating but it was busy on a Sunday afternoon. It was a little difficult to get their attention for the restroom lock code since they were so busy, but after awkwardly trying to get someone's attention for about 3 minutes, I obtained it haha. read more

The 1st thing you need in the morning is someone with an attitude, this place has one person who is friendly and he seems to be the manager as well as the ladies making the drinks. However If you go inside and are dealing with an employee of the name Yolanda then your in for it. Being that this Starbucks is literally a few minutes away from work it's convenient for me every morning to come and get my special drink. Yolanda makes my experience here so bad, her energy and attitude early morning is uncalled for, this isn't just once but literally I Beg that she is not at the cashier so I don't have to deal with her face gestures, rolling if the eyes it just makes anyone feel uncomfortable. I hope that management reviews this and maybe sends a secret shopper so that you can witness on your own. As clients I don't think that we should deal with this when we spend money everyday here. We love the people who work at "Our" Starbucks. The drinks are fantastic. The ambiance is good with the exception that the Drive-Thru lights are OFF their timer for about the last 2+ weeks. It is very dark at night and there are several questionable people who bother customers in the drive-thru. And these questionable people hide in the bushy area as the Drive-THRU bends to place your order. Also in my opinion it isn't very safe for the employees at night if they have to go out to the trap area let alone all leave after their shift. PLEASE FIX THE TIMERS FOR THOSE LIGHT POLES and maybe do something about the wooded area. read more

This is the best Starbucks in Northern VA. The owner is friendly, funny, and employs super people who reflect his welcoming personality. Orders are delivered quickly and are always 100% correct. Their bold coffee is brewed to perfection and very flavorful. The store is very clean and organized, with plenty of standing and sitting room. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you stop and enjoy this store. read more

Employee Philip is poor at his job when working the drive through window. Cars are always out to the street. Seems to only be able to do one thing at a time. This never happens with any other window employee. Management needs to reconsider how to best use this employee. read more

This place has turned into a to-go Mobil order priority store. Don't come here if you want to sit down to order/ drink coffee in store. They blast loud irritating music over two busted/ cracking speakers aimed directly into two seating areas. It seems intentional like they don't want patrons in the store at all. Also, if you order from the counter, your order goes to the back of the mobile order queue. In stead of receiving a baked good at the register, you're told to go down and wait with the mobile orders. And wait you will! Expect to wait 10 min plus, after about 10-15 mobile food orders get processed before yours. All the while listening to loud music over bad speakers. I like this location. It has more of a family vibe than other Starbucks locations. It had a giant connect 4 set on the table when I came! Plenty of seating and outlets for getting work done. Service was slow, but they only reopened relatively recently so maybe that's why? read more

This Starbucks is a 5. I mean, with non-elite 'lee' below who claims he is no squeaker and goes on a scared rant; I'll bring a 5. The staff are polite, they are helpful, courteous and fast. Drive thru had a line, so I ordered inside. My coffee was A+. Coffee/teas are personalized and standing spots are marked 6 feet apart. Drinks are called by name. This is the best starbucks. Employees are very friendly, even when they're always swamped. The quality of food and drink are great, and if you don't like it you can politely ask for a swap and they are sure to make the moment right. With plenty of regulars coming through the doors the ambience is great and definitly third-place like. Again this is the busiest starbucks in the area so there will be a bit of a wait time, but the employees do the best they can, and a smile will make their day. read more

I do sometimes have to wait a few minutes for my order but I can tell it's due to the large amount of customers, not that the staff aren't working quick enough! The Dunkin Donuts dupe of starbs. This location literally makes your drink different every time. They rarely know what their making at times. Multiple occasions I've had where I will pull up at the window and don't ask me after they've charged my card, "oh, what drink did you order" ummm the one you just charged me? So confuse why this happens. And when I try to give them my order after they've asked this, they seem in a rush and hardly listen. So then, when they bring my drink after they made it there standard way I have to send it back because I would like you weren't listening to me still, I asked for no whip cream. The morning staff and evening staff are the worst baristas. The middle of the day ones I've noticed are much more pleasant! I do enjoy the fact that they close at 10 pm. HOWEVER, they will close on random days, they'll turn off mobile ordering, and close the store and do drive thru only. End of December beginning of Jan they were closed during the winter break weeks - I went back finally mid January. They'll also turn off Frappuccinos on the app - it'll say out of stock but when you go in person they say they have it. This place was great in the beginning but now things this place sucks. Just convenient but not necessarily because the drive thru takes almost 30 mins + to get thru - so if I'm stepping out to pick up in store I might as well go to beacon hill location. Honestly the customer service here makes up for any mistakes they may have. I've never had a drink wrong or had to wait extremely long even when there were 15 cars in front of me at the drive through. My family and I went to this Starbucks, and received the worst service from a Starbucks employee. The drink we ordered was not the one we were given, and when asked to remake it, the Starbucks employee gave us attitude and proceeded to give us dirty looks and talk bad about us while right there at the drive through window. She snatched the drink away, and hastily handed us straws when we asked for some. With the traffic on RT 1 on any given morning - this is the place to go to wait it out or just chill for a bit. Friendly staff, my order is always right- even when I make it complicated (not that I'm one of those people, but when I get something other than Venti-dark-roast-no-room I like it less sweet.) So today I got a venti espresso frappachino with one less pump (of the base which makes it less sweet) and an additional shot of espresso. I didn't have to correct it or answer a question, it was quick, no hassle and oh so good. This is my second favorite Starbucks store, the first is off Frontier drive by the Springfield Town Center. Both have friendly people, clean stores and ample seating. Also- Both stores have plenty of local Fairfax County police nearby. Save, clean, fast and good. That's the way to do it! read more

They go as fast as they can and get the orders right, so I have no complaint there, but this review is about my last visit. I ordered through the app like I always do, and they seemed to have some sort of glitch. So I get to the window and repeat what my order was and the woman literally says to me "look, our system isn't catching online orders right. Are you sure you ordered the right thing?" I repeat my order. She says "I mean, okay, it came through but how do I know it isn't someone else's order? Can you prove to me that you're not stealing?" Ummmm, wow. There was a better way to phrase that. That was rude as hell. So I took my phone out and "proved" that I didn't just magically guess someone else's order and steal it. That hasn't happened before. Usually I say my name and move on... But this woman, I had never seen before. I was very offended. She could have just said oh it didn't come through, can I see your phone to make sure I give you the right order? In any case, my almost $7 deli sandwich had rotten lettuce and was inedible... I ate the cheese anyway because they do have the best dill havarti... But I wasn't going to even go back and deal with that woman again so I just sucked it up.
