During a Winter power outage, I fled to this store, to continue working. Their WiFi is so reliable. I was seeking a place I could count on. I wanted to concentrate. Truth, this is the loudest Starbucks store I have visited. And trying to perform work here or even concentrate, was truly a challenge because of the acoustics. They need some rugs on the floor to offset the deafening sound of voices and their coffee machines. The Baristas seem friendly in the DriveThru. But the ambiance inside needs an overhaul. When I left my power cord behind one day, and went back to retrieve it, the manager in this store was blatantly rude. During a recipe evaluation, I had a Pink Drink that was off, just awfully sweet. In the past months, I have had some colder drinks that were supposed to be hot. The food ordered was cold. The drive thru is the only option for me because of the deafening sound inside and the rude Manager. Starbucks was always a friendly place. But now, not so much. Where are the District Managers who need to spot check their stores for friendly customer service? read more

Maybe my new favorite coffee. A Trenti, cold brew with chocolate cream on top. Make sure you're signed up with a Starbucks rewards card and receive emails. For the last two weeks on Wednesday if you came after 12:00 you can get any cold coffee at half price so this beauty only cost me $2.87. It was delicious and foamy. Light and fresh. Perfect for a warm day in Ohio. read more

Starbucks - Maybe my new favorite coffee. A Trenti, cold brew with chocolate cream on top - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Akron, Ohio

I will NEVER return to this Starbucks! I would come here every day, sometimes twice a day.. spending a couple hundred dollars every month. I've never done a review but I just had to for this one, and after reviewing others comments about this specific Starbucks I see I am not alone. I want to start off by saying I am a former partner and shift manager in a different district. So when I visit I have a lot more empathy and consideration when the lines are taking long or my drink is incorrect. I never complain and just keep on with my day. This specific week though for 3 days in a row my cold brew was incorrect. After recently having a baby I have to watch my sugar intake. The drinks I received weren't even near correct so I finally decided to call and speak up after 3 days of throwing my coffee away due to being unsure how much sugar is in it...mind you $8 just thrown away. Who knew I'd face retaliation for speaking up. The shift manager I spoke to that day was kind and understanding after filling her in on the incorrect orders.. the requests of no ice , but receiving a cup full of ice, requests of sf vanilla but received regular, asking for cinnamon and not getting any, receiving vanilla sweet cream but never asking for it and so on! The shift manager told me no worries to come the next day and my order will be taken care of. Now returning the next day, nobody knows what I'm talking about or who I spoke to and everyone has an attitude. They still had me pay for my order and the STORE MANAGER.. then comes by and is extremely rude and ignorant, doesn't seem to believe me. Like I need to lie to get a free drink when I spend well over $20 a day. I continue to explain the shift told me it would be taken care of and this has been an ongoing thing receiving incorrect orders. She's still not listening and doesn't care, hesitant but finally gives me a recovery card. Fast forward to the very next day when I go to use said recovery card.. WHY DID THIS WOMAN PUT $4 ON THE CARD BEING FUNNY. What at Starbucks is $4!?!?! Just ignorant! I really hope whoever the district manager is, takes notice of her childish behaviors and how much revenue she's costing this store by losing loyal customers. I couldn't imagine what it'd be like being a partner in her store. No wonder why it's always new people at this location. read more

I ordered the Chestnut Praline latte and the Sugar Plum Danish. Both were very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'm surprised they are only rated three stars. By the service I received and the drink. I would assume they would be worth four or even five stars. read more

It feels weird to review this location separately from the B&N it's inside of, but I can give it it's five minutes of fame. They seem to have practically everything a standalone Starby's would have, with the exception of excess knickknacks like those locally themed mugs that people collect. There's the usual: coffee and tea, hot and cold. Frappuccinos and the myriad other, mostly sugar-loaded, concoctions they conjure up here. I'm more a tea snob myself and I'm content with their selection there. Food wise, they have all the sweets as usual, including some wrapped/sealed and gluten-free, if you need. I like the hot food items in a pinch. The quiche or a spinach and feta wrap make you feel better about 32 oz of caffeinated sugar water. The sitting area itself is spacious with plenty of tables for two or four. However, it's dated and dirty. It could probably use a good facelift. New paint, floors, and furniture. The mural of authors is a neat touch though. Find me here once a week writing or reading. (Shh, don't tell anyone my e-reader's not a Nook.) read more

This has to be one of the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. It's the closest one to my house so I still go often but always have to give myself extra time. read more

The place felt very festive and ready for the holiday season. The lady at the front register was very friendly and inviting. She helped me with my custom order of Snicker Doodle Hot Chocolate. They made it perfect! They did have seating inside and had covid precautions. read more

I don't typically review chain restaurants, but I couldn't resist reviewing this Starbucks. I needed a pick me up while driving down the highway so I get off at the closest Starbucks. I walk in and it reminded me of a comfy coffee shop. It had seats for lounging large tables, lots of space and plenty of outlets for people who like to camp out and do work at coffee shops. The place was very clean and the baristas were super quick and made my salted caramel nitro cold brew perfectly! I will def come again! read more

HIGHLY UPSET this is the second time that I have made it to Starbucks around 9pm. I work 6p-6a & coffee gets me through the night. They are the only coffee spot around the area that is open this late. WELL SUPPOSED TO BE OPENED! The first time I went right after 9pm & the lights were already off. I had to settle for gas station coffee. This time I made sure I arrived a little earlier. When I got there I sat at the intercom for about a min or 2 because the lights were on & I could see movement inside. I figured they were busy. So I drive to the window & saw 2 girls walking and looking at me, I figured they would address me shortly . At this time 2 more cars pull up & we are all sitting here waiting patiently . I honked the horn assuming they'd forgot I was at the window & they continued to walk past me like I wasn't even there . At this point I'm very pissed. They could've simply said they were closed and no longer taking orders, which still doesn't set well with me because THEY DONT CLOSE TIL 10pm. read more

Starbucks - Actively making coffee as I made this video of them - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Akron, Ohio

I LOVE this Starbuck! I have never encountered more pleasant staff. In addition, the manager, Vrenna, goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy. My dad has dementia, so it takes him forever to place an order and he will tell chikdhood stories to anyone who will listen. Vrenna is so patient with him and treats him with such respect. It just warms my heart to know there are still kind people in this world. read more

I was so frustrated with the tiny previous location, I wrote a letter to the CEO Mr Schultz outlining the missed opportunity Starbucks had in the central business district of Montrose. A bigger store with drive thru would be busy and profitable. A larger seating area would be more comfortable for guests. To my surprise I was answered that a new location would be looked into. This new location has been here a few years now and it is a busy community hub and everything I hoped for. Drive thru. Patio. Large seating area with lots of options and plugs. Clean rest rooms. Lots of parking. And of course, great coffee and friendly baristas to make my day. It's a hit. read more

Love this location!! Each barista is always friendly and have made it a point to remember the repeat customers! Wait times are usually low if you know how to plan ahead with the app or order in store during low traffic times! Never have had a complaint about my orders at the Montrose location :) read more

Ahhhh the Starbucks guru is back at it again. Feels nice to find another Starbucks I can impart my Starbuckian wisdom on. It is a real thing folks, google it! FANTASTIC! That is the word of the day for this location. It replaced the tiny and overcrowded location that was misery to get to. It moved down the street to a new neighborhood, met the neighbor Malley's chocolates and created a perfectly symbiotic and happy relationship! A cup of joe and some locally made chocolates? Foodasm folks....pure ecstasy! This location is super easy to see, easy to get to and the parking is aplenty. God, how nice it was to pull in to park and not need to fist fight someone to get in! This location is at least 4x the size of the hole in the wall that was down the street. I LOVE the amount of leather chairs they have here. Plenty of places to sit comfortably. On top of it, there are lots of tables and TONS of outlets to plug your electronic devices into. This place was designed to appeal to business meetings and students. A nice size retail section and a full hot and cold menu at this new location too! If all this amazing stuff wasn't enough, they have an awesome drive through and a beautiful patio. Lots of tables outside to get comfy at in this fall weather. Patio seating always makes me a happy Starbucks customer! Staff here was very friendly and efficient and my venti iced coffee with soy, no classic was made super fast and just right. My new go to Starbucks in the Fairlawn area! read more

Took about half an hour to get through the drivethru with three cars in front of us. My favorite part was when I asked for a hot chocolate with no whipped cream, and then they only filled my drink to the halfway mark and added whipped cream the rest of the way, DELIBERATELY adding three times as much as normal. I work at a different Starbucks and I can tell you right now your job is not that hard. Do better. read more

Seriously one of the absolute worst Starbucks. It's in such a great location, but their service & speed leaves so much to be desired. The only time you'll get something in a few minutes is if you go through the drive thru, however good luck getting into the drive thru because it is often quite busy. We've done mobile order in hopes to be in and out quickly, which is what the app is for and I've stood waiting for 30 + minutes waiting for drinks with no customer service. If I want to start my day in a bad mood, I place a mobile order for this location, and end up leaving because it never comes and there's nobody asking if I need anything or what I'm waiting on. read more

The workers look at us when we walked in and said nothing. It was so awkward. I made eye contact with 3 employees and no one smiled. I know that's not Starbucks standard and it was really disappointing read more

Seriously. 3 days in a row. First day they die for the caramel drizzle which you pay $1 extra for. Second forgot again but I caught before I left. Today, no sleeve on my extra hot coffee so I went to reach for one and the barista rudely said "please don't reach for that." Well next time do it correctly and for sure be more polite in your delivery of your message. read more

So I love Starbucks coffee and coffee shops. Loyal member for years. It's just this location isn't good. I go here often because it is normally a great place to study. The Wi-Fi hasn't been working for three weeks and the staff doesn't do anything about it. The staff had ME call their support line and talk to Google WiFi support and talk to a technician. The tech told me that the store manager has ways of escalating the issue, and I reiterated this to the staff and manager on duty. That was two weeks ago. Also the staff that works from 6pm into the night is pretty rude and disrespectful. They all just talk and will prioritize talking near the drive through before taking customer orders. read more

Every time I leave this Starbucks I am disappointment for one reason not another. I today ordered a drink after I ordered the drink they told me they didn't have the ingredients to make it the barista suggested a substitute and never asked me whether I liked it or not, because I didn't. I mentioned it to her and it seem like she was irritated or bothered by me not liking the substitution of my drink. I took the drink anyway and will suffer through because I paid for it. But their service should be so much better. Often I use Black Lives Matter as my name, this location no matter who the barista is will not say that they will say the name of the drink but they will not say Black Lives Matter they will literally say every other name they will not say Black Lives Matter. I really really hate this Starbucks I promise you I do. my loyalty is to Starbucks but this location totally needs a revamp or a retraining on what customer service really looks like. Starbucks is known for having great customer service but this location put Starbucks to shame. read more

This Starbucks is in a great location, however the speed of service is awful. The drive thru takes way longer then expects. You then go inside hoping the line moves quicker and you sit and wait watching the cars go by. This Starbucks takes an average of 15-20 minutes every time you get a drink regardless if it's inside or through the drive thru. If you don't have time on your hands skip this location. read more

Very odd Starbucks... They have a great location but it seems the shop is run very poorly. It's either they don't have the drinks you're looking for, or they aren't open for undisclosed reasons, or they change their hours without notice. They're the only place in the area that feels as though they're back in 2020 with their strange rules still. You're better off going to B&N just down the road. read more

Wow. It takes a lot of work to be this bad at your job. This location is consistently the worst customer service of any other Starbucks I have been too. When placing a mobile order you need to at a minimal triple the time it says for your expected time to pick up your order. While waiting no one asks you what you had despite the workers clearly having time to stand and talk. Don't get me wrong, on a Sunday morning there are a solid 2-3 people hustling. I feel bad for them because the rest of the staff is actively doing as little as possible. Teamwork and professionalism are not even remotely considered at this location. #gotodunkindonuts read more

In recent years this has become the worst managed Starbucks I've ever been to. This place is an absolute joke they wonder why they can't keep employees around. This is the worst Starbucks around. They have double charged me and yelled at me in the drive through for having an upset passenger crying too loudly. I'm not usually one to write negative Yelp reviews, but I was very disappointed with this location. This location is advertised as being 24 hours, and has been since it opened at this location. I tried to stop around 4am on my way to pick up my mother to take to the hospital for surgery. I went to the drive though and no one responded. I saw two people inside, so I figured I'd try going inside then. Nope, doors were locked. There were no signs posted about the change in hours and the people inside just ignored me. It's one thing to suddenly decide to change a locations hours, but at least post a sign saying so! I will just have to stick with the other location on West Market. read more

So they moved the Montrose Starbucks, down the street, where the old bank used to be. The reason why is obvious, it has a drive through. The new space, however, lacks parking and quick frankly character. I'm sure that the new location will make more money and that is what matters to the company in the end, still it is not an upgrade for the consumer. read more

Their service was fast, and the workers are super polite. Unfortunately, when I ordered a soy latte they had spoiled the milk- which resulted in gross clumps of denatured soy floating in my drink. It was expensive- and something I wouldn't finish. I had gone through the drive through, and was in a hurry- so I'm sure they would have refunded it had I been able to talk to them. But, it was a waste of my money, a waste of food, and as a barista- a mistake that is very easy to avoid. read more

Everytime I come to get a drink I wait at the least 30-45 minutes. Slowest Starbucks ever!

Definitely not my favorite location. It's always extremely busy I mean EXTREMELY BUSY....and always at times you wouldn't think would be busy.
