Hey I think this place deserves a better rating than less than 3. I come here often enough to confirm this. Sure it tends to be busy at certain hours but that's not an automatic bad review. How is their drink? Coffee is great, match is great! I don't usually purchase food but my kid likes the pops every once per season, she loves it! Today I got a usual match blend. The store was not busy at 6:30. But they have a few orders before me from probably the app. I waited about 15 minutes. Usually I have the app telling me my wait time not today so I was a little impatient but then again I have the time to sit in the ac in this hot day. Besides, I can't have bad feeling towards people who write " good taste" on my drink. The place is reasonably clean and organized given its popular location. The neighborhood STARBUCKS on Kanan has been good to us over the last two years. There is no drive thru available, but it is a nice location to relax and enjoy your beverage inside or outside. We often order in advance, and then walk to this shop to pick-up at the mobile order counter for our morning exercise. This location is popular with the high school students and bicyclists, as I often see them hanging out. So, it can get super busy. A while back I scored a Stanley x Starbucks Quencher tumbler! That was a nice surprise. But overall, coffee products are always on point. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Lately, we've been getting smiley faces on our cups. Enjoy! :-) read more

If you're in a rush for coffee, steer clear of this place. Yesterday at 1:55 pm, I joined a queue of four people. The woman at the counter engaged in lengthy conversations with each customer, causing delays. With an appointment looming at 2:30, 10 minutes later it is finally my turn. She thanked me for my patience, and when I did not respond, she repeated herself rudely. I paid for my order but had to abandon it at 2:10 when told my drink was not even processed yet and the person ahead of me received her drink. So I had to leave without my drink after having paid for it. Lesson to staff: prioritize efficiency and customer service not socializing. This is the second time this has happened. Love the coffee but the bathrooms are disgusting. I have been coming for 20 years and the bathrooms have always been bad but after the remodel I had higher expectations. They are worse than ever! I used to love this store but now it is just okay. It lacks warmth and kindness. It feels more like a proctologist appointment when ordering and waiting than anything. There was a barista, Phoebe who really made the store the best. They need her back. She greeted everyone with a friendly smile and made everyone feel welcome and important as a customer. She also knew the menu and made amazing suggestions when I couldn't decide based on my past ordering and she always knew what would hit the spot. Also there seems to be a lot of employee turn over. Thank goodness for Derek, Brandon, Sophia, and Katie who are great. But without Phoebe the store lacks cohesiveness, motivation and happiness. I walked in and was taken aback by the beautiful new interior redesign. The young man had my drink ready and I realized I had ordered one instead of two and he made it on the spot. This is a small little Starbucks in Agoura located on a busy street corner. Inside is very small and there are not a lot of tables. The store is a bit crowded due to its set up and the place to wait for drinks gets a little backed up. There are some tables outside to sit at. The parking lot is situated a little funny and the spots in front of the store are always taken, so you may have to park a little farther away and walk over. The employees were nice and they got our drinks right. Interesting to note that they spelled my name right without asking. I am always surprised when that happens. Was going to rate this location a two, but then the manager on duty helped rescue the experience a bit. We stopped by for the last day of the Frappucino special introducing the fall flavors. The locale is funky. There's very little outdoor seating. It was too hot to sit outside today, but for future reference, they just have a few tables stuck outside the front door and one or two to the side. There is a gorgeous historic oak tree to the west side, but there is also inexplicably the trash dumpster enclosure on that side. Terrible placement! Ugly, likely attracting bees, flies, and other insects. It should be to the back of the building, not the front. The store interior was okay. Not outstanding in any way. Reasonably clean. The cashier was young and not very experienced with customer service. I decided to take advantage of an advertised special for 30% off Teavana packaged teas. The discount didn't come up automatically. When I went back to ask about the price adjustment, she was off doing a chore behind the counter, not paying attention to anyone at the register. When I asked about the sale, she kept peering across the counter toward the sign, saying, "What's the expiration date?" Apparently, the sign had been left up for 3 weeks after the sale was over. O-kay. . .not my problem. The MOD came and made the price adjustment without any further ado, but the first cashier was clueless about the process. The barista seemed gruff and harassed. Needs a major renovation. The setup: limited outside seating (but then again, it's a parking lot view plus Kanan Blvd), small amount of seating inside with 6 seats that feel secure and the other feel like you are in the way of the line. The crew: I've never experienced fun here, or even pleasantries. It's work only mode, and all business. Order, move to left, and leave. That's how I'm made to feel. This is by far the worst Starbucks in the area. The orders are always behind. Last week I placed an order from my home 10 mins away and when I got to the store they were 30 mins behind on mobile orders. I left and had to call corporate to get my refund. Today I went in (no one was in the store) 7am and the manager was complaining he couldn't toast my bagels or heat up my egg bites because they were swamped and it would take at least 20 mins. It such BS that I have to drive to the Westlake or Lindero stores when I live right next to this one. This is my neighborhood Starbucks...and I really like coming here. Being a regular means you know the crew behind the counter. There are some very sweet, cool and friendly people working hard behind the counter. I will admit, I mostly chat with Dicky and the lovely McKenna. He has always been friendly, has a smile on his face and honestly-the whole crew go the extra mile. Both he and McKenna both High Five'd me when I got all of my bonus stars-it was funny! So sweet of them. They sincerely are so great-I just can't appreciate them enough. For instance, when I applied for the Starbucks Rewards Visa Credit Card, after you spend $500 on your card you will receive 6,500 Bonus Stars -(must get this within the first 3 months of opening your account FYI) that basically means you can get a bunch of FREE stuff for 3- 6 months depending on how much you visit Starbucks! There is an annual fee of $49, but I am so happy getting free stuff now-its fun! Dicky was the one who kept asking if I got my rewards...did I see my points yet. It was nice that the other baristas checked in too. I do need to mention, it does take a few days to see your rewards-and it comes in a new look-a glowing line of gold-its cool! In fact, I thought my stars would never show up-but they could see that my 6,500 stars were there.I ordered a lot that day. Just remember-say you want to "use my rewards", not money the money you have on your card if you reload often. The baristas can see it when you use your Starbucks app. I like that after I go my rewards-they were all happy for me-it means a lot when employees are kind and genuine. Actually-I went in today and got a sandwich & Venti Iced Chai for free. Me. Love. Free. Stuff. I mean, who doesn't? I also want to note, this Starbucks is really popular after school for High Schoolers so it can get really busy between 2-3:30pm FYI. Avoid the crowd-go before 2 or after 3:45pm and that will make it a calmer experience for you. I truly want to give a big shout out to the team behind the counter. When the store is full, and customers are anxious-this team always stays cool. They work fast and always keep things moving...I respect their efforts and really wanted to tell them they are great-and do a wonderful job. I've even been there when App malfunctioned and mobile orders were not coming in, the team simply said to the crowd-in a very sincere town-"we are very sorry for the delays, we are trying to get things out as soon as we can, please be patient with us-Thank you everyone." It actually was nice-everyone in the store kind of calmed down, because most regulars know-they really do get drinks out efficiently every day. Again, I am a big fan of the this neighborhood joint and the people who work here. I stay coming to this location and they are always awesome, big fan of their entire staff I want to shout out I think it was Kaila or Katie putting up the drinks so fast today! She had light blonde hair I made a point to remember her name but for some reason as soon as I tasted my delicious coffee I spaced! Also the manager Jacob they are so pleasant, efficient and consistent- I order my drink pretty customized, but the same, at every Starbucks I go to and this Starbucks makes my drink perfect, exactly how I order it, every time. I always have a pleasant experience at this location. Staff is friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable about menu and options/alterations, and patient when ordering. I have never had an incorrect order and drinks/food is made quickly. This location gets really busy but they never seem flustered or loose orders (which I've experienced at other locations). I also spent many hours late in the evenings to study for an exam.
