It's fun, quirky, and filled with delicious goodies -- a great place to get coffee and tea, with the added bonus of sweet treats! I love the rotation of seasonal drinks, and the baked goods are a small but mighty selection of scones, muffins, cookies, brioche cinnamon rolls (my favorite!), and other yummy baked deliciousness! Staff are friendly and helpful in offering options -- for example, I needed some dairy free milk choices. The barista also offered great recommendations with the seasonal drinks. Pricing is really reasonable... which allows you to indulge in some additional baked goods or one of their fun merchandise items like homemade dog treats, t-shirts, mugs, etc. I also like that they have a small shelf of books, records, and games if you want a little BFF time - with your bestie or for just yourself! I enjoy stopping in for refreshments and a little break from shopping on Lindbergh, or getting something to go to enjoy at home. The vibe is relaxed, and easy-going, and marching to the beat of its own drum. You gotta love places like this! There is plenty of parking, and the lot is easy to get in and out of. Just watch your step at the doorway entry/exit. It's got a slight incline - so watch your step. Seating is limited, but it seems to work, because there is a steady "to go" crowd that doesn't take up the tables. I love this cool spot in South County! It's local, and I love that over bigger, more expensive alternatives. I've been thinking a lot about those cinnamon rolls. So, I need another visit!

I think this place has good coffee, but for a place that prides itself "hustle culture" it is the…read moreslowest coffee shop I have ever been to. Today, I literally had to leave because when I walked in, there was no one behind the counter, I stood there for a few minutes until someone finally came out out of the back section, and then I assume, went behind the counter to tell the worker that I was waiting. When the worker came out, she had a bunch of cookies in her hands that she then had to proceed to fold and put into a bag and then she started making the coffee of two people that were sitting at the counter while I was still just standing there. She did acknowledge me, which I appreciate, but at that point, I have been standing there for at least five minutes and I still hadn't ordered my coffee. I told her that I had to leave because I had to get to work and went to Starbucks instead, which I really didn't want to do. But this has been a pattern with this place- either they're not hiring enough staff, the staff that they have is overwhelmed or something is going on. I've been coming here for almost a year- and I definitely would prefer to patronize a local Shop, but not if it's gonna take five minutes to even just get my order taken when I am literally the only person in line. Also, I wanna add, I literally used to come here three times a week. This is not a new experience, but this one has really taken it over the top. Like I said, I want to support a local coffee shop, and I want to like this place, but particularly in the morning when people are on their way to work, this type of delay is totally unacceptable. I'm not blaming the worker, I'm blaming whoever's doing the scheduling.

Loved getting near the bottom and getting a few pistachio crumbs as a little treat right at the end. The Carrot Cake was still very good, but I was hoping for a bit more flavor distributed into the coffee/liquid itself instead of it relying on the foam. Would absolutely recommend coming to Kentzo and will definitely be back soon!

Here's few reasons why I didn't give them 5 . More like 3.5 . 1. The Lindbergh location has a small window of how you can even get to them. Especially if you're coming from Sunset Hills. It's a whole loop around deal and if you miss that Lindbergh entrance then boi guess what.....go all the way around. 2. I placed my order on the app (ahead of time). I got there on a Monday afternoon, about 5:30. 2 cars were already at the window. And I can't figure out for the life of me why it took me 20 minutes to get my drink. This is not the first time either. I didn't pay attention to the first car so don't know what they got. The guy in front of me had one drink....me one drink. Why does it take that long? Is it just one person always working there? Regardless, I find it annoying that it takes me that long to get a drink. Also the fact that they never apologized for the long wait is mind blowing. I probably wouldn't have a giant issue if the workers would simply apologize just to make the customer feel better about the wait. I do however like to give major kudos for my amazing drink. I got the Lavender Ice Berry Sugar Free Redbull Infusion. And OMG.......the topping and the foam mixed with the drink reminded me of pink pop rocks. It by far surpassed my expectations and I wished it didn't cost me $8 bc I would probably want to get it every day. It is seriously so good

I'd attend such a meeting, but more so for the lulz (but also to share my beliefs). I'm pleased to report that there's none of that going on here, that I'm aware of. Granted, this was a Sunday morning. I was there with my running group as part of our ongoing unofficial breakfast burrito tour, the last such stop until this fall, due to upcoming marathon training. Of course it was the most unpleasant day of the year, maybe ever, with a heat index of 117 (no hyperbole). I changed shirts before I came in and then sweated through that shirt as well. One of the ladies I was with left a gross pool of sweat in her chair after she left. It didn't occur to me to pull a Charlamagne tha God until hours later. I'm growing as a human being. Part of that growth is gradually coming to realize that seasonal lattes, unless they have sort of especially distinct flavor, like banana, aren't going to taste like anything other generic artificial sweetener, let alone what they purport to be. I considered ordering an iced caramel latte, but I figured what the heck. I went with something called a Miso Brown Sugar Latte. It was good for what it was, but I don't know that anyone, if you gave it to them to try, could identify it as that. I liked the fact that it had a somewhat more pronounced coffee flavor, compared to some places where it mostly just tastes like a glass of milk. I wasn't as crazy about the fact that it took a while for the ice cubes to cool it down, probably longer than it would have taken if it were served in a glass cup. I went with something called the Annex Burrito, which I didn't realize until after I ordered it is not the only burrito they carry. I guess you can also get a bog-standard breakfast burrito with bacon, eggs and cheese. This one comes with corn, beans and some sort of unidentified crema for the same amount. Maybe they give you less bacon. Mine didn't have a lot of bacon, but the bacon it did have was not crisp and had a precooked vibe. The latter was more of an issue for me than the former. I'm a savage in that way. I did appreciate the fact that it was griddled, possibly using a panini press. The exterior was ever so slightly crisp, while the interior was pizza roll-level molten. The overall vibe was similar to those microwave burritos they used to carry at 7-11, but in a good way. All I needed was a mini truck enthusiast magazine filled with photos of bikini-clad Latinas and a Windex-blue Slurpee, but I was able to make do with a lukewarm mystery latte and the old ladies I run with. I'm resourceful.

Overall rating 3.5/5, even though I can't give half stars here on Yelp. One star for ambiance/vibes. This is a gorgeous, quaint little eatery in a lush area of Saint Louis County, right near Grant's Trail. One star for service. My server was a kind lady who made sure I was always doing well and kept my water glass topped off. One star for going above and beyond--I ordered gooey butter cake as a sweet treat and apparently whomever cut the slices made them too small so they gave me two but only charged me for one. Half a star for the gooey butter cake and espresso martini. Neither was the best instance of either I've ever had but they were the best part of the actual meal. Unfortunately, I think I made the wrong entree choice. I went with the biscuit (singular) and gravy and a side of sausage links. The biscuit is described as "jumbo" but didn't feel much bigger than what I'd consider a regular-sized biscuit. It also wasn't nearly as fluffy as I would have liked and was quite tough and hard at points, nearly requiring the use of a knife to cut it. The gravy was relatively flavorless and wasn't improved much by either salt or pepper. The sausage links were passable. I'm willing to give the shop another shot (and order something different) once I try some other brunch places on my list but I was a little disappointed on this visit because I wanted to like my food more.
