Based off experience alone, this place was definitely worth going to. I went during a random post snow day for a coffee fix, and ended up being taught about the wonders of coffee from a knowledgeable barista. He was able to assist me with understanding what flavor profile to expect from each coffee (which sounded more like tea descriptions) and was able to pick one. It was a refreshing experience, and the people were so nice. Very warm feeling on a cold day.

Today, as summer gives way to fall, I'm taking some moments to read, absorb, and savor a really good cup of coffee. St. Louis has made solid spots, but if I'm going to enjoy something nuanced, well-sourced, and delicious, I'm coming to Blueprint Coffee on Watson. I love the whole vibe of this place - natural light spilling through the many windows of this former car garage, good music playing, plants everywhere, warm wood, yellow furniture, and non-pretentious, friendly baristas - and the single cup coffee is a fave. Today's cup was Turaco, rich, dark, with some smoke and tart berry. When it's really nice outside, they roll the garage doors up, and the breeze paired with everything else is glorious. There's long communal table seating inside and a back patio with multi-top tables under shade, so whatever dynamic you're looking for with your coffee, Blueprint offers it. Solid breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and more, as well. It's definitely a go-to coffeehouse for me in the city when I'm just wanting space to sip, savor, and enjoy.

Stopped by for coffee with a friend we were kind of unsure about the place but after wards we really enjoyed the coffee and scones. Very small place we had to park across the street barely any parking. Inside is very small also not a lot of seating outside. Also they are very pricey. The service wasn't really all that great the guy didn't bother to interact with us as much while we were asking questions about the menu.

Let me start this by saying that I wasn't here last weekend or anything. It's been a while. I wrote this review when I came home to save for when I was holed up in my home recuperating from having my 2nd knee replaced. All that being said, this is based on my first visit. I have been here at least 4 times since. I mean, I gave it a 5 star review didn't I? Anyway, this is their location in the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood. It's a cozy old service station that creates the most tasty drinks. I usually drink a dirty chai. As a matter of fact when I drink one from here I go home and clean my whole house. And, I don't even taste the bitterness of the espresso. Everyone there is super nice. I usually tell them what my go to was at a different place I tried and they give me something from their creative minds. I ALWAYS end up liking it. Speaking of, I have tried to "make" cold brew with chocolate milk but it sure doesn't taste anything like theirs. The food was good. We just got a couple of bars that had a lot of grains and seeds. (Yes, I didn't write down the name of them.) Those bars kept my tummy full for a long time and was really good. It's not the biggest space but there is space to sit outside, again, not a lot, but that is typical honestly. There is a little parking lot in front of the building but honestly, I would stick to the streets. It's just easier. You know I will definitely be back. I've already been back 4 times.

Amazing coffee!! Reminds me of my favorite place in Tucson. Coffee is naturally sweet, awesome woodworking and vibe. Great service!

Blueprint has the best latte in St. Louis (out of all the places I've tried! My favorite is the ice caramel latte with whole milk (not much of a non-dairy milk gal). The Watson location also has a little outside area. Not as many seating spots inside, but still a good size. Parking lot can only hold 3 cars but street parking is usually super easy to find. The staff is always knowledgeable and kind. I always look forward to stopping in! There's usually always a line but it goes quick. They have food options (some vegan options for folks who need it).

I was very happy with this place. My cappuccino was good and beautiful! I also had a egg biscuit sandwich that was fantastic! I got the 3 cheese one. Biscuits are great! Small outdoor sitting area and indoor seating of course. Limited parking in front. A little bit of GPS weirdness finding Blueprint. It is set back a bit on Watson. Look for a blue emblem on a pole. Their logo. I will include a picture. It was a Brake Repair Shop before I guess? Now says Reliable Break Service. Love it! . Nice big garage doors.

Fun little coffee spot! Lots of different drink options and a few good offerings. I liked the decor and the use of roll up doors to help make the space more open and airy. Staff was helpful in picking options and patient while we figured out what to try. My wife and daughter got coffees while I tried an iced tea. Cool spot to hang out. No drive through, not that kind of coffee place!

Coffee not for the faint of heart! Sure it's strong and will definitely put hair on your chest. It's Java love at first sip.

Blueprint is my favorite coffee shop. From their great selection of baked goods to their incredible coffee selection they have been our go to for our coffee needs and friend dates. I always go for the biscuit with butter + jam or the egg biscuit sandwich both are 10/10! The egg sandwich has a tomato jam that is too die for and they have truly perfected the egg patty. For coffee, my partner loves their cold brew and I tend to go for their lattes usually with oat milk and salted caramel syrup but you can never go wrong with their seasonal drinks. Ambiance-- they are always playing incredible music, they have seating areas in the front and back of the cafe, tons of plants to brighten even the grayest of days. They host markets in the front lot and even have a basketball hoop if you are feeling up to shooting some shots. Service-- we love everyone that works here! They are incredibly warm, helpful, and you can tell they care deeply about their customers. Really thankful that we have this gem close by. They are the reason why we are regulars. Shoutout to Ethan, Micah, Ashley, MG, Ryan, Jordan and Britton.

Two things about me: I love a seasonal drink and a reimagined building! Once upon a time, Blueprint Coffee Bar's Watson location was an auto-repair shop. The garage doors lend gorgeous natural lighting to the transformed space and the walk-up window makes for a warm welcome when the weather is right! The back patio is a neat little plant-filled nook, the perfect shaded spot for summer sips.

Always a pleasure stopping in for coffee whether it's to-go or to stay and enjoy there. Don't let the size fool you, plenty of seating inside and on their back patio. Come for the coffee, stay for the cookies; their oatmeal with banana, coconut, dried cherry & Askinosie chocolate is delicious!

The sausage & pepper egg biscuit is heaven!

This one did, so I walked over from the restaurant where we were after lunch. This is a very pleasant shop with lots of available seating. It just has a rather modern look, and it was very nice and clean. I came up to talk to a friendly barista. The pour over menu was a bit confusing because there wasn't a lot of information directly on the menu, I asked about one pour over because I had never tried a bean of that origin before. She had good things to say about it, but she said that, if I wanted something fruity or floral to try Haro Wachu from Ethiopia. It was as if she read my mind because I had been wanting to try a natural processed Ethiopian. I'm really glad I took her suggestion! It was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever tried. I didn't taste so much of a note of fruit in it, but I still loved it! I made sure to make a note of what it was in case I have room for more beans at home and want to order it. So, I do wish it was easier to tell what each pour over was in the menu (They have a lot at reasonable prices!). However, I left there thoroughly impressed with the coffee. If you are out on Delmar Loop, they are definitely worth visiting.

What an odd name for a coffee shop located in the lobby of a medical office building…read more Er, I'm assuming this is a medical office building. I've only gone there to have blood work done, and even then, only because I couldn't get an appointment at any of the other locations, natch. My understanding is that this building was built back in the 1980s, maybe around the time they built the Galleria, with the thought that if they built one such building others would follow. Fast forward 40 years later and not only is this the only skyscraper in the area, it's one of the only (semi-) occupied structures on this accursed stretch of Brentwood Blvd. I imagine foot traffic is minimal, but I'd encourage anyone who just got off the MetroLink on their way to stab someone at the aforementioned Galleria to stop by and have a look. This place makes a mean Strawberry Matcha. It might honestly be better than the one I had at the Upshot in Clayton, which I passed on my run from here yesterday. It took all the strength of will I could muster to not stop and have a burrito, like when Bill Clinton used to stop at McDonald's on his runs back in the early '90s. Weirdly, I'm now the exact same age, and let's just say I get it. All of it. I love the fact that they give this drink to you not stirred, so you can see the separation between the milk, the strawberry syrup and the matcha (whatever that is). A girl I was with (but not "with," natch) remarked that it looked like an Italian flag. Also, it probably ensures that you're getting the various ingredients in the correct ratio. Sometimes you get these lattes, and they mostly just taste like milk. They're not putting enough syrup in them, and the issue might be that the syrup is visually indistinguishable from the rest of the drink. It's a brown-ish liquid in another brown-ish liquid. The only way to know if it's right would be to taste it, and I don't need some of these baristas tasting my drink. I don't know where their mouth has been. (Some of them could do literally anything and I'd be fine with it.) Anyway, it was a good drink. The burrito wasn't as good as the burrito at Upshot, but it might be the second best one that I've had, and I've had breakfast burritos from all over: Living Room, Bike Stop Cafe, Goshen Coffee Roasters. They give you the choice between bacon or a non-meat option. I didn't think to specify (the heat may have permanently damaged my brain), and they had the sense to give me bacon. Kudos! I like the fact that there's potato in addition to the bacon and egg, providing variety and heft. The monterey jack cheese gives it a vaguely southwestern vibe, and then the chipotle crema that comes with it (truly a miracle substance) really sets it off. I also got a Pesto and Parm Focaccia, on a recommendation from one of the girls in our group. I didn't need it, and if the taste was any indication, this was one of the least healthy things I've ever eaten--like an elevated Cheddar Bay Biscuit from Red Lobster, if you can imagine. But it was good, and it was further proof that this place knows what they're doing, weird name and location notwithstanding.
