    *Cappuccino*

Not a fan of their coffee but had a nice cappuccino that comes with seltzer water and some chocolate espresso beans to boot. Nice place to sit and have a conversation. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Had a delicious iced coffee at Kaldi's for the first time. Also got a hot coffee that was their flavor of the day/week, it had an earthy different taste to it. Cannot remember the exact names of them, but next time I go I will try to remember & add them. Service was nice, the baristas were friendly & helpful on what kinda of coffees they have & recommend to try. The ambiance is what I loved about this place. I love coffee shops that are relaxing, quiet, & ideal places to have coffee while reading a book or doing work on a laptop. Location is close to a lot of other hubs in St Louis; this place is on the corner. There are other locations but I would love to go back to this one!

It's been a while, or how in today's moment one says, "It's been a minute," that we've been here. I enjoyed visiting this coffee shop a few years back when I had a coupon for a drink, and just loved the area---the vibe. Came in, while staying nearby the loop, and was enjoyed an Italian breakfast sandwich (which I modified with ciabatta bread and recommend this way) and a apricot scone with an Ethiopian blend drip. The sandwich was very filling, and the scone was again(had before) delightful. The only drawback here is their wifi has a 2 hr limit. Something tells me this place must have been popular at some point with the WashU study crowd.

Kaldi's Coffee Roasting by the university has a cool, student-friendly vibe with lots of seating and people studying. We ordered two cappuccinos--they were okay, but I really liked the touch of sparkling water on the side, so European! I also tried an energy bite, which was pretty good. They have a big selection of pastries, and the convenient parking in the back makes it an easy stop for a coffee break.

Kaldi's is a nationally recognized specialty coffee roaster that I learned about through a coffee subscription service. So when I knew I would be in St. Louis I knew I had to find a location to enjoy some coffee and pick up a bag or two. I love this location because it's very rustic and makes me feel like I'm in a cabin in the Wild West. There are two spaces with plenty of seating for studying, meeting someone, or just enjoying a cup of coffee with a friend, family member or by yourself. I can imagine a lot of students from the local university probably enjoy their space for studying. The pastry good are top notch. I really enjoyed the gooey butter cake. The coffee is excellent and the staff are friendly and provide great service.

Wonderful place to hang out here! Friendly staffs and I had mango banana kale smoothie. Very good. Thank you for hospitality

Kaldi's Coffee on Skinker is THE SPOT for breakfast and good coffee! They have a wide variety of coffee and other drinks and a pretty varied selection of food as well. I've never had avocado toast before but WOW, it's a shame that my first time trying it is probably going to be the best I'll ever have because it was absolutely delicious! If you're looking for quick service, great drinks, a nice ambience, and terrific food, this is your place! We went two days in a row because it was so good!

I've been going to this Kaldi's since I moved here three years ago and I haven't yet expressed how awesome it is over yelp. The food here is so good. I'm obsessed with the avocado toast and love the baked goods (especially the pumpkin bread). The nicest people work here, they brighten my day every time I go. Finally, the cafe itself has the best vibes for studying and hanging out.

Picture turned out so blurry but I had to try the iced ube latte! It comes in a gradient, with the sweet ube mixture on the bottom and espresso on the top, and when mixed together it was just right! I do like my drinks on the sweeter side though - but it wasn't overly sweet. I've also tried some of the brunch items on the menu which have always been very solid! The people are always very friendly and service is fast. I love the chairs here and ambiance inside - there's plenty of seating indoors (and some outside too if you want to bring your pup!) and it's a wonderful study environment.

I was very impressed with the flavors of everything! I loved how many types of chai lattes they had. My friend and i both tried the pumpkin chai and the chocolate chai - so freaking delicious. They had multiple alternative milk options. Our waitress was friendly and explained we didnt have to worry about parking, the sign out back was a bit confusing. She also made recommendations for us and explained everything. They bring your food out to you at the table which is dope. And the vibe of the place is super chill and has a nice rustic feel with wooden chairs. I super appreciate getting the coffee in a real mug instead of a paper cup especially since we ate inside! Really enjoyed our lunch sitting in a cozy corner next to the fireplace. The breakfast sandwich was awesome 10/10

Love this Kaldi's, huge with lots of seating. Kaldi's easily has the best food, I usually get the breakfast bowl or burrito. They also make pastries fresh so it smells good here! A lot of windows so great natural light. I do not like their coffee, but this is a personal preference (me problem, not them)!! I got the drip coffee and it was single origin from Costa Rica, but way too sour for my taste.

In for the weekend from Chicago to visit my daughter at SLU, and we decided to try Kaldi's for brunch, and LOVED it! I had a vanilla latte (excellentl) and my wife had a cappuccino (very good). My girls raved about their "spicy" avocado toast. We ate outside. My wife and I thought they were going to bring our drinks out with the food and when I went back in to check, they offered to remake our drinks! Caldi's is first-class. We'll be back next time we're in town.

The flavors are plentiful, the creativity is unmatched, and the quality of the ingredients is truly unrivaled. I honestly don't think there's a better cheesecake shop that I've encountered anywhere in my travels. The staff is generally very helpful and welcoming, with Lindsy in particular being a consistent standout at the front register over the years. I've been a loyal customer for a long time and have easily spent thousands of dollars on Hank's cheesecakes for both personal celebrations and professional events. The product itself has always been worth every penny. That said, I was disappointed to learn of the new policy charging $2 simply to slice a cheesecake. When purchasing a $25-$400+ cheesecake, an additional fee for a task that takes roughly 20 seconds feels unnecessary and, frankly, a bit off-putting. While I understand that rising costs are impacting businesses everywhere, this type of nickel-and-diming can feel discouraging--especially to long-standing, repeat customers who have consistently supported the business. Hank's Cheesecake remains exceptional, and the product is second to none. I hope management reconsiders this policy, as it slightly detracts from what has otherwise been an outstanding customer experience for many loyal patrons.

It allows people to gather eat a sweet treat and have general conversation conversations where you can actually hear one another. They do have outside seating too. The chocolate cake was soft and as a non-cake lover I found this very delicious. Definitely worthy of sharing. I ordered a quiche to go. I had mentioned they didn't have the spinach feta pastry that I had before. The gentleman stated we have some in the back, I'm happy to get you one. So I ordered that too. And although this was only our second time coming, the fact that they'll make a fresh pot of coffee in my opinion is key to a great café. I will keep this in my rotation of places to go.

I loved that the location had a good parking lot and was easy to get to. The decor and ambiance are designed to give you a feeling of luxury. We had a party of 6 and the round table we were placed at was the perfect size for conversation but still had room for all of our food and plated. Waitress was very helpful and attentive. The wine and bourbon list was massive and I recommend that you do your research in advance. It is way too big to really explore at the table. Bourbons were kind of high priced but, "fine dining" so expected. House salad is really good and fresh with nice light, balanced ingredients. We tried the korean cauliflower and bread service for apps. The cauliflower was ok but I wouldn't order again. It was a little disappointing that they charge for bread service. A single order comes with 5 pieces of bread, connected but tearable, and each a pretty small finger-sized piece. The board they served it on had a well full of olive oil and that was a mess. It was hard to pass without spilling and hard to share the oil since you had to pass the whole big bread board with it. Definitely a form over function thing that caused some frustration. Most of my party got steaks and all were very happy. 2 of my party got their steaks tuscan style and although they really liked the flavors on the meat, they wished they had not gotten salads first since the tuscan style plate replaced the usual potato and veg side with an arugula salad (so double salads for those folks). One person got the pork chop and it was massive, seemed like he liked it. I got the tagliatelle ragu and it was a good portion, not obscene but I had leftovers. It kind of tasted like pot roast pasta in a decent way. I don't know if I would get it again but I was not disappointed. 2 in our party ordered dessert, creme brulee and chocolate torte. The chocolate torte was phenomenal and one person said they would have come just for that. Not a lot of non-alcohol after dinner drink options. I ordered drip coffee and it was better than most I have had after dinner at supposedly nice restaurants, although it wasn't amazing. Some at our table ordered port and the bottle was humungous - a very amusing presentation. We were celebrating 4 birthdays among our 6 diners and they brought us a very nice plate of warm, gooey, chocolate chip cookies cut into quarters to share. This was a PERFECT birthday acknowledgement. We didn't need a big dessert per person or one to share with 6 spoons. It was small, delicious, and a gracious gift. If I could do half stars I would give 4.5. There were some small misses that I would not expect from a restaurant of this caliber. It was a lovely dining experience and I would go back in a heartbeat. I really like when a restaurant lives up to its reputation and I think Truffles does.

We started with the Korean fried cauliflower and it was honestly some of the best I've ever had. The batter was light, fluffy, and crispy, and the gochujang sauce with the mayo was sweet and sticky in the best way. Since it's a butchery, we had to try the steaks. I ordered the 4oz filet Oscar style. The meat was tender and very well seasoned, the crab was fresh, and the homemade hollandaise really pulled it all together. My husband had the ribeye. It was a flavorful cut, a little fatty (as ribeye tends to be), but exactly what you'd expect from that cut. The steaks come with a twice-baked potato and vegetable (or you can swap for different vegetables). The potato was flavorful but fairly dense. We also did the bread service - it was good, but felt a bit pricey for the portion. We ended with the flourless chocolate torte, which was very rich and the perfect way to finish the meal - especially on Valentine's Day. Overall, the food was good and the menu is solid. The quality was there, but the portions, bread service and sides didn't fully meet expectations. That said, it was still a lovely experience and a great date-night spot.
