First time coming to this location and it was amazing! I came 15 minutes before they were closing and they were pretty much out of the other pastry that I wanted to try but still had senorita bread available! I ordered 50 & it was fresh & hot which I appreciated! I'm usually never in the area but since I was, I had to get my hands on some of their bread! Tastes just as I had remembered it! Super delicious & sweet and tastes just as good the next day! If you really want to enjoy them, pop them in the air fryer for a minute or 2 for some delicious and warm bread! yum yum yum! Senorita Bread is my newest favorite thing. Despite the name, this bread is actually Filipino and the bakery sells lots of other Filipino treats too. Senorita Bread is their most popular item and with good reason. It is nice and moist with a layer of butter and sugar. When we bought a box, they were still warm. You must eat them while they're warm- it increases the deliciousness factor up by 100%. You can also microwave them again at home to enjoy them warm. Starbread has never failed in giving me the warm-lush-soft-sweet-buttery decadence of this magical treat that I crave. This evening I shall be in heaven savoring my senorita bread, not only eating it, but wanting to roll in it & rub it all over my body as well ha ha... yes it's that good and dreams can come true sometimes! The BEST TIME to come get your señorita bread fix is right when they open/in the morning! These fluffy yet buttery rolls are one of the most addictive snacks you'll ever have. This is definitely a local favorite and even though the location itself is very small, the line can go out the door. A majority of their location is the actual kitchen so the aroma of freshly baked señorita bread floats around the bakery, especially in the morning. This is a great addition to any potluck or gathering with a great price (you can get 50 pieces for $20). Not only do they sell señorita bread, but they also sell other packaged or individual Filipino delicacies. Their turon (caramelized fried lumpia rolls with banana inside) is really good without being too sweet from the caramel. There is also a good amount of banana on the inside, so it doesn't feel like eating only the wrap. I haven't tried any of the other things they sell though since I mostly come for the señorita bread. read more

The verdict: it's like biting into a soft warm subtly sweet buttery cloud of goodness. And Lola behind the counter will run to the back of the bakery and grab some fresh-outta-of-the-oven-heaven in a togo box for you to bring home. Or devour four in the car (which is what we did) and watch the buttery honey juice slide down your hand when you take your first bite. Grab a dozen or case, they always come out pipping hot and freakin delicious! Five for $2.00, sixteen for $6.00, twenty for $8.00... I also grabbed their steamed pork asado buns. It has a good o.g. flavor; sweet bbq-isk, mushy pork. Three for $5.00 medium sized ones. We also grabbed a bag of pan de sal; it's the same light fluffy taste pretty much in every Filipino Bakery. Unfortunately I have to give this bakery a low rating because of two incidents that should never happen with customer service. I went in one evening to order lumpia for a work related event and was told that it would be ready at a certain time the next day. The young lady that took the order was very nice and I left my contact information. I arrived the next day to find out that not only was my order not ready, but it wasn't even "called in" to whoever makes the lumpia. They told me they found the order written down but I'd have to wait 45 minutes to an hour for someone to bring it. I was on a time crunch but I waited because people expected lumpia. I never got an apology or even a small discount or anything. In fact, the person at the counter was short with me. Fast forward to another incident. My coworkers and I love senorita bread, so I frequently stop by to get quite a few for us. It adds up! The same lady at the counter and was really rude this time and completely ignored me after I placed my order, accept to say how much it was. When I asked if it was fresh senorita bread. She snatched the box off the counter went around the curtain and we heard her throw it in the microwave. There was another patron in line and when we made eye contact, even she looked mortified by this behavior. As much as I love senorita bread, I refuse to keep giving my money to a place that treats some of it's customers like crap unapologetically. As for the product, sometimes it's hot and fresh (hence the stars I did give this place), but sometimes I get more stale bread and have to warm it up. During my visit today, it dawned on me that I haven't left a review! My love affair with senorita bread started back in '08; at my cousin's birthday, my auntie bought something like 200 senorita bread. I fell in love instantly. Since they were only located in Vallejo at the time, my mom and I would make up excuses to pick up groceries at Seafood City (we have a smaller Seafood City in Suisun and a County Square Market in Vacaville) so that we could pick up 50 to bring back to Fairfield. One visit later that year, we were told that one was finally coming to Fairfield. Hell yes. Whenever we have get togethers, military functions, parties, etc, we make sure we have them or if we're going to a party, we bring some with us. If you want some ready as soon as they open, call them the day before and they'll have your order ready right when they open the doors. Oh, and I DARE you to leave the parking lot or drive down N. Texas 3 minutes without reaching into the box and eating one. It's impossible. You can't resist!!!! read more

Came by here over the weekend to get some Senorita Bread for my parents and my girlfriend. The bread itself let me say is absolutely amazing. Especially when they just load up the box it is so fresh and buttery that it almost can melt in your mouth. The spot itself is kinda cramped. The building is so much bigger, but they don't really utilize it that well. Only the front section is open where they sell other Filipino pastries. Service is so and so. Guy doesn't say much to me and I really don't say much to him, but he did tell me to have a nice day so hey there's that. I would've given 5 stars for the delicious senorita bread with the inexpensive rates of $6/15 pcs but unfortunately the lady there was kinda rude. We have been living in Fairfield for years but went to this place for the first time. Asked if there was anything more they serve like vegetable pastries, croissants etc? And the lady said 'No, this is all that is left (pointed to the trays) and we are closing soon'. They close at 7pm and we were there at 6pm.
