It seems like they are still using quality ingredients, but it's now a very different pizza. The crust and sauce at Olde World were previously great. Both are now significantly off in our opinion. They simply don't taste the same. The sauce is not balanced and sometimes leaves an aftertaste. The crust can often be a little too thick and it lacks the taste we had grown accustomed to, both from Olde World and the usual faves in New Haven. We have been displeased enough to stop going here. As many previous reviews have mentioned, it used to be a New Haven-quality pie without having to go into New Haven. We're sorry to say that's no longer the case in our opinion.

It looks like they offer espresso and wine. They also had packaged dessert items for your sweet tooth. They also have the pizza topping staples: red pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese, etc. The sauce is a little sweet, but I did enjoyed it. The veggie slice did not have red sauce, so if you enjoy spinach bread, you would probably enjoy that slice. It was a good experience. I found parking easily. It was nice and clean inside. When I want pizza by the slice, I will definitely keep them in mind. The slices are huge by the way. I could barely finish two. So happy to have the 3rd for leftovers.

We narrowed our want list down to three very different items. We bought two slices of their sausage pizza, two garlic knots, and three eggplant rollatinis. The pizza was fantastic! Super thin crust, plenty (and I mean PLENTY) of cheese, a very good sauce and delicious sausage chunks. Oh, and the slices were enormous. We made a dinner out of the eggplant and garlic knots. The eggplant was sliced so thin, and was so soft and tender, it resembled lasagna noodles! The rollatinis were loaded with ricotta cheese and marinara sauce and it was a fantastic dish. We split the three rolls and let me tell ya, one and a half rolls were plenty for dinner. The garlic knots were ridiculously loaded with garlic, not teeny tiny shavings, but big hunks of garlic cloves. Needless to say, they were fantastic as well. Our total cost was $24.66, and Sapori threw in four complimentary slices of fresh Italian bread with our order. We really loved Sapori a lot.

Food was amazing I absolutely love their pizza 10/10. Their costumer service also a 10/10, the people there are so friendly and great at what they do. The owner is so incredibly kind I always enjoy going to Star. I have seen many negative reviews and what I will say is that they are a PIZZA restaurant, pizza is their speciality.
